One thing I found is the volca bass has a portamento between overlapping notes played. The length of the portamento slide is controlled by the tempo, so the lower the tempo, the longer the slide which makes for the effect used in the 2nd drone part of the video: 6:23 These are some tempo timings I use to plan ambient sequences 120 bpm = 2 sec per measure 80 bpm = 3 sec per measure 60 bpm = 4 sec per measure 30 bpm = 8 sec per measure 15 bpm = 16 sec per measure 10 bpm = 24 sec per measure And a decent calculator for bpm timings: www.omnicalculator.com/other/bpm Power On ⚡
