- Original fingerstyle composition played on a Mark Gaiero OM in Myrtle / Swiss Moon Spruce, with 13-frets to body and a 25.25" scale. Recorded by John McCortney at Airwaves Studios.
Song title taken from the Chronicles of Narnia novel "The Silver Chair", by CS Lewis, specifically a phrase uttered by Aslan in response to Jill Pole's hesitation to drink from "his" stream, despite dying of thirst.
Incredible playing, a beautiful composition, and my hat is off to Mark for such an amazing sounding instrument.
Really beautiful! I have it in my Fingerstyle folder now. Love it.
Thanks, man, I'm glad you found this!
Wow, that was great!
Thanks, Tom. Look forward to playing it at BIG!
Incredible, Diogo! What tuning is this piece in? I love the deep chords you let ring out throughout the piece, the tension really envokes that scene from the book too
@@rileydaleguitar thanks, Riley, I appreciate your checking it out. The tuning is DACFCE, my first time trying it out!
@@diogoandguitar Love it. I'll have to try that out sometime, it seems to play very fluidly :)
