Always liked this little game. Also first played it at a friend's place and was like WTF is this? Kicked my ass at the time. Good vid, me smile big and happy.
This game's origins on the ZX Spectrum make a lot of sense because the first time I played it, I was surprised by how "slow" it was compared to other similar themed NES shooters. Also, maybe it's just me, but the odd shape of the ship always reminded me of the weird baby thing from David Lynch's Eraserhead, haha!
Definitely one of those super familiar (yet bizarre) cover arts and logo.
