the world is too wonderful to live in one place your whole life
so true
Sachi Wachi this..
This is quotable. definitely making it into some screen saver.
some of us are too broke to travel tho haha
@@elizeespring aww so sweet!
people expect others to do so little in life. they expect people to get a stressful job with great pay, get married, have kids and stay in one place with no time to themselves. i can’t imagine that. the idea of that makes me feel so anxious and trapped. honestly, i would just want to live in a different country, like, every two years, travelling, working different, small jobs like in a bookstore or a coffee shop. that’s all i’d need to get enjoyment from life.
I’m with you on that!! It sounds unstable, expensive, unrealistic(?) but... perhaps doable?? Idk.. I really do want that kind of life tho
Yess. I agree with you, all ppl want nowadays is to get a successful high end job luxurious life but I dream of these normals minimum job, travel, freedom life no race for riches
I feel like I found a soul mates🙏
My absolute dream is to travel the world and just paint the beautiful sites I see like why am I crazy to want this
Literally my life goal is this. I’ll make it happened and enjoy my loneliness and enjoy life itself around all this beautiful cultures and people. I try to settle down, never again, I can understand now that I’m a free spirit and I don’t want anyone to attach over me and my life, I enjoy my loneliness and will forever be grateful for it.
I thought you automatically get a croissant thrown at you when you open a window in Paris
Dude😂
Only on Wednesday
Only if you're an American
No, actually it's more a "putain connard !" you'll get
😂😂😂😂😂😂
For the people saying "it is the life in Paris when you are Rich", she seems to live just south of Gare Du Nord in the 10th arrondissement... For anyone who has ever been there it is definitely not the richest district... I am not saing this is a poor district tho, but there are still some afordable places in this area which is getting really trendy... Believe me, "rich" people in Paris don't go for the 10th arrondissement (most of them go for more central, left bank, or the west end).
She's just filming the "normal" Paris, with a poetic angle...
Hur Max and the Cartier ring and AirPods too
Okay, thanks for the useless information.
Dijamella Christia I’m sorry but I think it’s a little bit rude to say it like that. In my opinion the information isn’t useless at all especially for people who want to move to Paris. I don’t want to offend you and I’m sorry if I did.
True! Thank you
I just came from a podcast she was featured on, Dating Straight, and she came to Paris to finish writing her book because she would get easily distracted ^^
It’s so amazing coming back to this video after the latest one she posted about how she was able to move here. So many people on here claimed she was rich or had rich parents when in reality she worked extremely hard for it to happen and saved up for so long
@@lg6126 nothing wrong with buying yourself top brands if you take care of them. Quality over quantity
could you tell me in which video was that, please?
Bea Rodriguez her “How i moved to Europe” video
@@lg6126 okay? she can't have a treat for herself?
@Lilman Yellow that isn't true though usually more high end brands use high quality fabrics, it has nothing to do with "status symbols" other wise people wouldn't spend the money. The whole it's all the same is just a bad cope.
Orion is the girl who sees things on Pinterest and then actually lives the life that she wants. Maybe I’ll do it one day
Lauren Schmitt you CAN. Put the money away, prepare, make the art, write the book. You are fully capable. I’ve been watching O for years and she’s been talking about getting out of her own way for years. We just have to do the same.
@@Carolsaacount I love this (:
Love this comment section 😭
you have such an eye for the most ordinary things i am in TEARS
you just put into words exactly what i was thinking but couldn't figure out how to say.
Ordinary things can be made extraordinary.
Yes!!
Everyone can do it. Just smile at everything you have contact with and suddenly one day you'll find yourself smiling to the air or cold mornings or graffitis... It's beautiful. I think we all are born with that superpower.
Love this video! I enjoyed it very much. It reminds me of my first ride on an RER C to Versailles on a brutally cold Sunday morning, my first walk in the rain from my hotel to the Louvre, and people-watching and journaling over coffee and red wine on my first solo weekend many years ago. Your video brings back good memories.
there is absolutely nothing better than a slow morning in Europe
Carly i mean it depends where you go
Carly uhmmm noo i hate mornings in Europe, I have to stand up and go to school
I’m speaking from experience...I’ve lived my whole life in Europe, & slow mornings in different countries have been some of my favorite times. I’m not speaking hypothetically or saying it’s the same everywhere...but in the countries I’ve lived/visited, I love slow mornings.
0 actually, I’ve spent a lot of time in Hungary, & I disagree. To each his own.
This touched my soul
I think we're missing a point here, everyday life no matter where you are can look like this, if you focus on the little things. This life is too beautiful :')
I agree with ya. Even if we live in the poor country, we can still live our life and enjoy the beautiful things we've seen
this THIS is so important!
i live in a third world country there is no way my everyday life can look like this haha 🥴
Exactly. Orion inspired me to make this: ua-cam.com/video/L16NdV2qgZA/v-deo.html
One day in my life. Gone.
exactly! :')
I miss the world before corona outbreaks. I was there 6months ago, and I’m living with that memories..
🙏
I loved this with all my heart. I feel utterly nostalgic about a place I’ve never been to yet. This was so beautiful! Much love x
lafemmebeige Fernweh
Agreed
Do u know wgat nostalgic means
Lincoln Curtis I hope you’re joking lmao She clearly understands the meaning. Do you know what irony means? Saying she’s never been there but the videographer still made it feel warmly familiar. Calling it nostalgic is adding depth to her statement.
Hoho
simply beautiful.
AMEN
I've been feeling really weird lately, There's a frozen void inside me that burns, I don't feel anything, I have to do SO MANY THINGS but I JUST DON'T DO IT.
I just sit on a chair staring blankly in distance for hours...
all I want to do is eat and sleep..
Or die..
This video gave me hope....😔
that there's a better day out there for me too...
(edit: you guys in the replies are so kind, I really hope things get better for all of us and let's promise ourselves to *try* getting out of the virtual world and making a better life in the *real* world for ourselves)
Keep going. You got this bb *tighttthuuug*
oh god
i didn't know how to describe that inside me, that void
you put it in words perfectly
if you want to get in touch or something it could be easier for both of us, when you talk with someone who understands how you feel
but anyhow, I send you all the possible strength and love!

Same..its my last year in highschool i just had my college entrance exam that I've been preparing and studying for it my whole life but few months before the exam I couldn't do ANYTHING i just slept and cried for no reason...
I wonder how it feels like to live on your own. To live like you’re actually ‘living’. I’ve always been transparent and exposed to everyone. I’ve always shared my life to the people around me, my whole life has been like this. Always giving myself and respecting other people’s boundaries, but never have I given the freedom to live for myself. Even if I was away it’s concerning that I even think of other people, of what they do and what they think about while I was away. Seeing this video made me feel like wanting to go beyond these walls I’ve built, these walls I’ve shared with everyone. I want to live like this. I wonder what it feels like to live day to day in Paris. Or somewhere out there that will actually give me time for myself. This video is beautiful on its own.
This video honestly made me tear up. I’ve came to the realisation how beautiful life can be just with the smallest things. Paris has always been one of my favourite city’s, just seeing these beautiful streets, buildings, cafés, just makes me so happy. I will definitely go to Paris for a while in the future ✨
Imagine moving to a whole other country just to write - my broke ass could never 🤒
Ivette Vercetti i felt this.
So did I...
Maybe start first? Make something of yourself and your talents. Then you’ll find yourself in a place to move to wherever you want to do whatever you love 😊
Yeah especially in Paris, you need a shit ton of money. Her apartment is huge, and Paris is the most expensive city in France
pam0626 that or she’s worked very hard and is brilliant at what she does. Don’t pretend to know her story without knowing her.
Bro I'm moving to Paris when I grow up and nothing's stopping me. Not even money. I will swim across the ocean and live in a gutter but I will be in Paris.
I tell you dear..hahaha.Even I'm also sacrificing everything to go live on it's streets.I luv this place
I had the same thought Sarah, I worked for United airlines, saved like the dickins and on low season, flew over, and fell in love with a city
I did it, not that wonderful except if you're privileged
@Chloe I love it too but I love the things that people usually don't like when they come to Paris like it's not a dream land like they portray in movies, yes there are a lot of homeless people in the metro stations, yes it's always crowded, yes there is poverty, most of people who are here are working class people. people should expect that. It's not just the Eiffel tower and the 16e arrondissement.
@Chloe I don't know if you know the Paris syndrome
instead of “ c’est la vie “, this is “ c’est la beauté “
This is how I imagine my dream life
A girl who lives in a Paris apartment with a view of the Eiffel Tower and who’s also a ballerina 🩰 with a part time cafe job
and little friends and sometime she goes to the bakery 🥯 with her dog and eat muffins while watching the sun set and read books to help her fall asleep.
maybe its the weather, maybe its your style but I really can really FEEL this right now
I AM LUCKY ENOUGH TO LIVE IN PARIS AS A YOUNG MAN ♥️♥️♥️

This is the first time I've seen somebody write the way that she does. I thought I was the only one that turns my notebook completely horizontal from myself to write in a straight line LOL
Yeah, put the notebook on the vertical and you get a ink stained hand and a achy wrist 😑
I do it too
To me, as a Chinese, it’s pretty weird. No one can write Chinese characters in that way.
I do too
I think she is left handed.
I truly truly love your content. I love how you can show parts of your personality without using a single word. You are so inspiring. Much love xx
manifesting this as my dream life 💖 i'll get to live in paris too. trust and believe
Are you there?
This is definitely one of the most beautiful 3 minutes videos i've ever seen.
🙌🏽🙌🏽
You what I want to be:
Living alone in Paris, France. Having my own apartment, and aesthetic dark academia books, clothes and etc. Writing in French, tagalog, and english.
Absolutely !!
That's nice, but that's not real life hun
@@TheEveana89 i like your angle. Tell me more about that, i think it's interesting 😊
@@TheEveana89 I got to do an internship in Paris. I lived there for 2 months. I went to cafes and wore a lot of the academia clothes. You can do it if you set your mind to it. Having a positive attitude would help as well
I know you can do it honey !!😌✨
ugh her life is a movie
Don’t be fooled
rather, she presents her life in a cinematic way. which i love, but keep in mind when you feel down about your own life (if that happens)
So is yours
Sure 🤣🙏
She just went out to a cafe. That's literally all she did.
2 seconds havent passed but orion never disappoints.
sus true i love her. if anything i wish she actually posted consistently, we rarely see from her on this platform.

that's it, im dropping out of college to go live in Paris and experience this warmth and soothing nostalgic feeling
Sadly this is not the truth lol....

@@alinaalexandra9994 I see, good luck anyway.
This is great video.

This video just lit up the flame within me that someday I will be able to travel the world, experience new things, and write about my journey just like how I've always hoped for. Thank you, Orion, this is blissful.
this makes my heart ache, i am homesick for the Paris i have just seen through your eyes, yet I have never been
Yeah i dont know why Paris is so glorified. In reality most parts of paris are filthty and disgusting. The gypsies, beggars, people catcalling you - it's just tiring tbh. Try living there and not just be a tourist for 5 days and u will see. Not to mention the riots going on
Where do you live now? I live in Paris and looking for alternatives.
I've spoken french for 12 years but only visited for the first time in february. So many people have bad reviews of Paris so I had no expectations. To me Paris looked like a film set and I loved that people are openly PDA, that they actually socialise and stay up drinking wine till late! Selon moi c'est une belle ville
I am homesick of this place and I have never been.
i went to paris when i was maybe 16/17.... and i will never forget it. the way you filmed and edited this, is a perfect representation of how nice and heartwarming paris is.
The vintage feel to this brings everyday images to life. This really inspired me to look at things in a new way today.
This is a stunning piece. Congratulations. “Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life - and travel - leaves marks on you.” -Anthony Bourdain
The whole time watching this, I thought to myself: I don't want this to end. This was truly beautiful!
This gave me an existential crisis I can’t believe people live in Paris when I’ve been stuck in Ohio for 21 years
Kaycie I was born in Ohio and like my whole family lives there. The sky is actually blue most of the time other places! 😂
Be careful what you wish for because it’s not always what you thought it is.
Same but I don't live in ohio
Same! But I live in Rio de Janeiro :(
U guys should be thankful for those cities i live in a really small town of Turkey(it might be the most boring town of the world) since i was born...
hoping Paris has treated you well, beautiful soul. remember that things happen for a reason. sending you love and waiting for that 2nd book!! ❤
After seeing Emily in Paris, this looks more real and natural. I get why people were mad and offended at the show :/ I’ve never been interested in Paris and thought it was overvaluated tbh, but this video just seems lovely
anyone else watching this during quarantine and on the verge of tears?
We Japanese people actually need the relaxing morning like this, all we do is to rush not to be late on time
Ta! Ta! Same in the US
trust me parisians also do
Funny how I am Parisian and watch videos of “Japanese slow living” to be inspired and relax, and you do the opposite
this reminds me of your old videos and i’ve missed them so much
This video is so serene and beautiful. I almost cried while watching it. I'm 24 years old and I wish to visit Paris one day, before i settle down and have children. Hopefully i can raise enough money to go one day.
i love cities. every single person is absorbed in the themselves and their own world. each person is doing something unique to them and has their own future, a whole life ahead of them, millions of them in one place.
I love this comment so much. Its exactly what I think, and its so amazing
I have almost no words.. You can feel it, very powerful, that heart feeling.. magic song, very strong, need to watch again and again.. thumbs up! Thank you
This was one of the most beautiful and raw 3 minutes and 28 seconds! emotional and pleasant to watch. I CAN'T wait to read your next book that I'm sure was inspired and written when in Paris.
This is what living in Paris for a short time may look like. This is not how many parisian people live.
Salambo Nassif agreed.
she literally just went to the bakery and to a café how is that not usual parisian habits??? i was born and raised in paris and its actually basic every day stuff there is nothing extraordinary about that
Hana Maria Exactly lol
Paris smells like piss... and looks like Somalia. There are public urinals everywhere, super dirty city.
Croatia or Hungary is better
Parisian borned and raised, I go to cafés and for walks every weekends with my friends. So does most of the city
i love seeing orion happy and living in such a beautiful city, I just know the new book is gonna come out amazing ❤️
This video is my favourite thing on this platform, love it !

Jealousy.
People love to be edgy and hate on Paris. It makes them feel good about themselves.
People are envious, I'm envious XD
@@robyns6343 It's not hating Paris. It's hating the way it's shown like some kind of utopia when in reality you'll get robbed and raped around every corner. It's a sad reality but people need it if they want their head still attached to their shoulders.
yes! omg it's irritating me
I don’t know why but this made me super emotional
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever layed my eyes on
This was so relaxing. Made me feel happy inside because I love Paris.
I was watching this so peacefully, admiring the cinematography, the city, enjoying the music, and then at 2:17 my brain went WHAT IS LOVEEE BABY DONT HURT MEEEE DONT HURT MEEEE
The effects of amazing editing skills make one of the busiest, most stressful, most hustle-and-bustle cities look calming and relaxing. I'm from a small town so I wasn't a huge fan of Paris but this makes me want to go back!
IDK WHY BUT IM CRYING RN???? ORION CARE TO EXPLAIN CUZ IM CONFUSED 😭😭

I love how y’all think of France and especially Paris as such a wonderful and aesthetic place, where we Europeans just think of it as a country full of conceited people who smell and hate foreigners lol
Laura Hahahaha! That's hilarious but true !
I mean people think of japan as some sort of anime utopia and China as some communist brainwashy shithole
People love to fantasize about Paris. There’s even a condition in Asia where Chinese people fantasize about Paris, then visit it, and go back home completely depressed because it was totally nothing like what they imagined.
This video is exactly like that.
Selling a dreamy idea of what living in Paris is, when actually it’s nothing like that.
And let’s face it, you don’t have to live in Paris to dress up, go out, go to the bakery and get a coffee.
I don’t live in Paris, and I do the same.
Stop the whole Parisian lifestyle fantasy.
True
Thomas Vennet yoo, calm down
No wonder Paris is called ‘the city of lights’, cus an Orion just walking on its streets.
I love this. you know I could cry just because of how beautiful life is for a sec, like the moment where u just woke up and be grateful on what you have and how the mornings work, people on their way to work or buy some bread in the mornings, like very simple things, enjoy it while you can bc moments like this doesnt last forever.
Best 3 minutes and 34 seconds of my life :) I live in a small beach town on the coast of South Africa and while I know that life isn’t necessarily always as aesthetic and slow-paced as it is in this video, it definitely makes me want to just step back and appreciate every little thing in my little town. Life can’t be slow until I slow down x

Thanks for creating it❤️
This was beautiful, but made me feel mixed emotions of nostalgia and sadness. I fell in love with Paris 7 years ago when I went for my honeymoon. Fast forward 7 years, and I finally left my abusive marriage. It’s weird to have such fond memories of a city during the darkest moments of my life, but I can’t wait until I go back one day.
I don't know what this is, why it was recommended to me, or why I watched it... but I liked it.
paris, i long to go there in future.
for some reason, this video made me feel like yes, its okay to be in love with yourself too
life can really be anything anyone dreams of. no one is in charge but the dreamer themselves, with some change in their pockets and a little hope.
I was so mesmerized by the video that I didn't realize it was 3 minutes long, I wish it was longer, and you picked the perfect song... I also wanted to comment that maybe Hemingway said that about Paris, but everyone finds their own place in the world or their "city": mine was Mar del Plata, a beach town in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I only lived there like 3 weeks during the winter when there isn't much to do, but I enjoyed walking and having the beach and the wind with me, the loneliness of a tourist place when there are no tourists and have coffee and tea with my roommate in the afternoon because our room was tiny, we only went there to sleep and I loved that, not being rooted in the material of the home, you are looking outside where to live and be. It was a beautiful experience and this video reminded me of those days. Hopefully everyone will find their "Paris" or their "Mar Del Plata" one day, hope you can find your City.
