Buenos Aires is a marvelous city & Argentina is a gem !!! 💎 I haven't been there ,yet ,but I've always been wanting to go there !! Since a teen !! I am planning to visit Argentina with mom in the near future !!! 😍👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🇦🇷⚽️🕺🏻💃🏻💕💞
Thank you ate for this video on BA. I am really considering going to BA in November so this video is so helpful. Did you feel safe? I would be going as a solo female also.
Yes, I felt safe! But I also traveled during the day time and peak evening times. I felt safe each time while I was there alone but I didn’t travel During the later night. I really like the La Recoleta & Palermo Hollywood areas for safety.
yes, the Spanish is very different but not impossible to understand if you speak Spanish already. Like you mentioned "llevar" is to take with, but Argetines pronounce it as "Shevar".. But it's spelt the same way! A bit confusing but love it. I'm half Argentine and half Ecuadorian. Going to visit BA in one month for the very first time. So excited. Thanks for the video and tips!
Yes, I’m still a novice with Spanish but hopefully I’ll be more fluent soon! I’m very excited for you to go to BA next month! I know you’ll have a great time! Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment! 🤗
Hi! I'm thinking of going to Buenos Aires soon and saw that as of Nov '21, they require all foreign travelers to have medical insurance to cover Covid hospitalization, etc. Did you do this as well? If so, can you tell us what insurance company you used? Thanks!
Hi Megan! They did back when I entered (March '22) but I used my own insurance and had the insurance company share the specifics of what they'd cover in an email that I printed to show the airline companies.
Hi Adriana! I didn’t do too much nightlife since I was by myself but I did see that much of the nightlife was in the Palermo and San Telmo neighborhoods! Also, it was highly recommended to attend a Milonga (tango house) and that is one thing that I’m going back to do!
It is correct what you say about the Argentine accent! It sounds very different compared to the rest of the Spanish speakers. The one you said is just an example.
What did you think about COVID restrictions there? I heard they’re more relaxed when entering the country, but I’m unsure if businesses require you present proof of vaccination and the like.
I've also heard that they are more relaxed about Covid restrictions, as well! When I was there, they did not check for vaccinations nor was everyone wearing masks so I presume it is much more relaxed now.
Was it an on the spot decision to make a travel Channel out of divorce diaries... just curious I'm retiring traveling solo and Argentina Buenos Aries is number one on my list to start and saw your video and thought about Argentina but as I got to reading I stopped at the title of your channel so I wasn't sure if I was going to get info on my destination or marital advice I watched it none the less and thank you for the info.
I’m glad you watched the video! Yes! I first started this channel to provide support for other divorcees but like anyone, I’m not just one thing nor do I have only one interest so I expanded my platform to encourage another aspect of who I am with the world! 🤗 I may need to rebrand soon so I don’t confuse too many people - thank you for the feedback and inquiry!

You are most welcome! I hope you had a great time and I'm happy you went there, solo!

Thank you! As a very simple Spanish speaker, im glad you also confirmed that! 🤗
They sound more like Italian !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🇳🇮💕💞
