Highly unlikely, the quality of electronic gadgets and associated parts used by JLR is excellent, very reliable. Infact now at this price point, there are only very few exceptions in the industry that are still plagued by reliability issues. However personally I prefer a nice mix of (real) analogue and digital displays; I find them aesthetically more appealing. But then that's a something very subjective and also, as they say, "there is no accounting for taste" either!😏
I have a 5 litre V8 XK Jaguar. I cannot see the point of the XE when the XF is roomier, gives a better ride and looks better. Jaguar has lost its way in stopping making any sports cars although its reputation was made at Le Mans with C Types and D Types followed by XK120, XK 140 and XK 150 models succeeded by the famous E Types. Now, they have even stopped making the XJ saloons the F Type and the XKs so they make only dull small saloons and SUVs. Might as well buy German!!

That was unintentional; the front map lights are touch-sensitive and they brushed the light as they pressed that switch. The two small switches that are under those covers on the overhead console are for things like SOS and technical support

I believe that the XEL is for the Chinese market only. All others get the standard wheelbase.
