- Matlock Bath is well known for a place to visit on your motorbike. Every Sunday, you will always find bikes at Matlock Bath in Derbyshire. Lot's of types, new and old, choppers, sports, 2-strokes, they all come to this place.
Great cafes for food and drinks and the people here are always welcoming. Plenty of places to park and for bikes, I understand that parking on the main road is free (I have never paid).
Beautiful walks by the river and lot's of wildlife to see. Come visit and you will have a lovely time. Not far from Bakewell so you can try some Bakewell Tart/Pudding. - Розваги
“Come over to Matlock Bath during the summer” he said
I think Summer is probably my favourite day of the year
😆you are right - but, I understand this summer is going to be a scorcher - but I have heard that before 😆
Motorcycle Mecca, a bit like Devils Bridge at the weekends. Shops and buildings look lovley so must take a trip there soon. Thanks Richard. 👍🍺
Been a number of times on a Sunday when chaos rules, the number of biker's takes your breath away, marvellous.
In the height of summer Ian, it just gets crazy in Matlock - bet the locals love the spending that goes on. It's like being at the seaside, but inside the countryside 😆
Nice one Rich , it's Funny I've been going to Matlock Bath for years too and my 1st road bike was a red GP100 I bought from Norman & Birch in Hanley, great memories 👍🏼
The old Guppy 😆. I put a micron pipe on mine. In reality, it made no difference to power but did sound great 😆
Great video, One of my go to places when in the area 👍
Great place James 😆
Great place, nearest thing to the seaside that Derbyshire has got, mecca for motorcycles, 🏍👍🇬🇧🙂
You are right Ken 😆
Hey-hey my British friend; we needed at least another 15-20 min. on this video. I would have liked a longer walk along that river; then crossed the street & walked along the row of motorcycles in front of the stores-yea!! You let me down Richard (lol). Glad to hear that you bought yourself a Triumph T-120. I can't wait to see it (what color) ? Have a lovely day! Cheers!! Illinois, USA
Hey Larry 😆, Noted!!! 😆, I will do a better review in a couple of weeks as this friday, I go to Tenerife 👍. We have hired a T120 and a Bobber. that should be good fun and footage 👍. I will also make videos over summer of other interesting places as well 👍
Ive been going since I had an AP50 in 1978. Gets incredibly busy as you've said.
Easy for me though as I live 15 minutes away. Great video mate.
AP50, great little bike and ok if its 15 mins away :)
This place must be a fair weather rider's favourite place
I think you are right Steve 😆
We used to go to Matlock Bath from North Wales and then over the Cat & Fiddle on our way home, but that was in the 80’s, we now live in Albany Western Australia
bet its sunnier .
@@mred7030 yes it is, but the roads are straight for miles and miles so not many smiles!
That's no excuse Howard, come back and enjoy it for a day 😆, great to hear from Oz ❤
@@bankruptpensioner oh and did I mention the kangaroos 🦘
@@howardrathbone2120 😆🦘. I did a study on the Kanger - once they are up to speed, they exert very little energy (and I mean really small levels of energy) as their combination of legs, tail, and body work in such a manner that they act like a pendulum. Incredible design of evolution. All the energy is spent on getting up to speed and then stopping. Useless information 😆
live the dream .
We all try to Ed 😆
Great place to Visit great walking round looking at all the various bike but the ride there’s terrible when your 217bhp bike never gets to stretch it’s legs
Let's face it Treker, there are not hany places in the UK where 217 ponies can be unleashed from their stable 😆, Jesus, how does one control that amount of power? 😆
Is there some motor bikes there?
