    JSN played in a run heavy offense that featured both dk metcalf and Tyler Locket which everyone knows, but many outside Seattle don’t know that he broke his arm last week of preseason, had surgery, and never missed a game. Literally played the first six weeks in a cast at RECEIVER. It was a pretty encouraging rookie season in my opinion.

    Finally someone with a good take on Jack Campbell. You can tell he’s truly a physical presence and has massive upside. With the split playing time, they also had him playing at the Will and Sam spots primarily. When he was given full reigns of the Mike during the saints game, he had his best performance of the season.

  • @jppagetoo
    @jppagetoo 9 місяців тому +31

    Jack Campbell was pretty good. He got fewer snaps because the Lions are very deep at LB and could afford to bring him along slowly. That said, he is huge, he is mobile, and a very smart player. He studies film for a hobby. He will be a force for the next decade with the Lions. That said, out of the Lions first 4 picks,Gibb, Campbell, LaPorta, and Branch, he had the worst season. If that is the case, the Lions have some players! A strong draft class for sure.

Like in the first you've literally got the most hyped players in the draft and then people who are drafted for development at the end. Like the difference between pick 32 and 33 (in a normal year) os the same as the difference between 32 and 31 but instead the guy at number 32 is on the same categoru as number 1

    As a Vikings fan, Addison is only a B+ a lot of his yards and TD’s came on broken plays. He disappeared at times. And he had 9 games being the #1 WR in our offense. With JJ getting hurt in KC game, missing 7 games, then leaving in the 1st quarter of Vegas game. Yet we had the #6 passing offense. Struggled creating separation and catching balls in traffic. He’s a great #3 WR but didn’t elevate to a WR2 type of player despite plenty of time to do so.

Even as a Chicago Bears fan I have a real appreciation for the job that Dan Campbell is doing up in Detroit. JJ was out for a lot of games and JA filled in well as a WR1. He didn’t need JJ to perform. I thought he’d be a slot guy but he was a great deep threat and contested catch guy.
    QJ was also just awful all year for LA. They had to force feed him the ball because Keenan was doubled but even then he dropped almost everything. His stats may look better but he did not improve.

    One note on Jack Campbell this year - he played all of his snaps rotating through Will, Sam, and Mike, meaning that he didn’t really get the opportunity to settle down and play at his natural MLB for any extended run during the year.
    The one time he did get the opportunity to play the full game at Mike was the Saints game, where he played probably his best football of the year and posted a couple TFL’s. So the hope is that he is going to be able to lock down the MLB job full time next year and take a step forward from where he was this first year.

    Jaxson Smith Njigba is special player special young man but to real he'd should've been on a better team perhaps the Houston Texans so JSN and Stroud would be a perfect teammate like they were at Ohio State University 13:19

    You throw out F grades way too easily. An F should be for players who literally are about to not be on the team anymore next season. Not an F for a player who had a bit of an underwhelming season

    You're being too critical of these poor performing rookies. They just need more time to learn the game script and polish up on their acting.
    I would recommend the owners send them to a WWE camp. 😉🤣

    Hey, the way you post these videos should be the other way around especially if you are counting down. Would be a nice change rather than going 16-1 to then 32-17 as it would just make more sense to post them in that order

    I really appreciate your willingness to give incomplete grades and recognize when someone was drafted as a developmental project player, all too often analysts are happy to throw neccesary context like that out of the window and give a bad grade without taking into account the role they were drafted to play, i appreciate you prioritizing nuance over flashy context-less grades
