Manly, I really hate to spoil this because part of me wants to adore this game for what's there... But, I feel obligated to say this. This game is too fucking short. I waited on this thing for years with really high hopes, and if you complete the game (assuming you don't die, and it's not particularly difficult) efficiently, it's only an hour and thirty minutes long. What's more, there's only 30 minutes of relatively new gameplay because everything in the first hour was already spoiled for us in the teasers and promotional material. And not that I need to tell you this, but this game has a retail price of 35$. It's cheaper if you get it elsewhere like Steam, but I can't overlook the fact that games like Limbo had four times the length, more replay value, a better (Although more subtly) explained plot, and still managed to be cheaper. In the end, what we got was a good game, don't get me wrong, but be warned: This thing is criminally short for something with such a price tag and was anticipated for a few years.
I really love the design of this game, with the subtle things like “why is there a camera that watches over the children’s beds” and “why does that bed that flips out have straps on it”

The way that the character is animated and the level design just screams "inside" and "limbo", i was actually amazed when i looked up the producers and they were different companies.
Well, he uploaded the first part of him playing Little Nightmares 2, so now I am here to see him playing the first one for the....whole...feeling(?) or something like that.
Aside from the controls seeming to have preference towards controllers, this seems rather good so far. Precious little story, but good setting and they're showing off how bleak it all is without dialogue. The little friendly guys in hats worry me though, as I'm wondering if this has multiple endings and it's a situation where you only get the good ending if you find them all.
Rewatching this after watching manly for so long he sounds like he has alot more emotion then newer content. Its not bad just uncanny after seeing the newer stuff for so long. Idk anyone else has noticed.

He ties a noose and hangs himself, thus preventing another Little nightmares 2. The entirety of little nightmares 2 is irrelevant if this happened. Although, it is still playable because we arent the concurrent thin man."

Knowing of her fate to be a selfish greedy child until the end? Maybe because there is no way to stop it the tall man simply ends it to break that loop. So many questions!! Love horror games with really interpretive lore :)
honestly this game reminds me a bit of INSIDE in terms of you just kinda... wake up with no direction and are on the move in a grimdark kinda platform game where you're small and basically defenseless but can bounce around and move stuff to solve puzzles. Heck its similar enough I actually had to check the steam page to see if it was by the same dev (which seems to be a no). But yeah gameplay is all they seem to share in common, the narrative for both are vastly different. I look forward to seeing where Little Nightmare goes with its world and ideas.

Little Nightmares reminds me a bit of the Coraline video game based on the movie, mixed with American McGee's Alice. It also reminds me of Nightmare Ned with 3D graphics and a gender-ambiguous protagonist. It is mainly exploration based, rather than combat based, in terms of gameplay which I like and you solve challenges to bring down intimidating bosses,
I don't think this yellow hood is super tiny because they did not need to hoist themselves up the stairs and the dumpster is only a little bigger than they are.
