Also in raging blast as well so definitely a returning feature but I think they did it a little different which I actually prefer. I think it does an auto super combo. It's been awhile so can't completely confirm
@@controlyourfutur It's not in Raging Blast. That's one of the mechanics that was left out. Raging Blast 2 added a Raging Soul mode with an exclusive combo to it.
6:11 what you said here is exactly how I feel with the clashes, the game looks beautiful but I also feel like the clashes are a little too flashy especially the beam clashes having the shattered dimension’s effect regardless of the characters power level and the camera constantly rotating around the characters, I much prefer for it to be simple effects for the clashes like how it was in BT2 and BT3
I am excited to see how they do the tournaments like will the TOP of a special no fly modifier? And can we make custom rules for the online tournaments?
Glad to finally hear your thoughts and thank you for not just blindly praising everything. The infinite combo was present in BT3 too. But there are mote things you can do in sparking mode than just spam square and your ultimate in BT3. Im noticing that impacts are not as strong in this game as theyre in BT3, i think some camera shaking and more attacks slamming into the ground like meteor combo or kaioken attack in bt3 sell that aspect very well which Sparking is lacking. Excited to pick it jp up myself in October
This is how you win melee clashes and how they work: when both opponents clash there are 2 phases: 1 the circle button press timing and 2 the stick wiggle or button mash depending on your settings. The winner of the clash overall is the person who wins the first phase. The second phase is a chance for the loser or winner of the first phase to also increase defense or offense of the clash itself. I was looking into an interview they did with jun furutani the producer of sparking and they asked how clashes worked.
@@DBZSkills Yup, both BT2 and 3 had it. I could see them potentially removing or limiting the number of consecutive melee hits you can land with it before the combo auto-breaks. They removed it and did this in the Raging Blast games. Both Sparking and Hi Tension modes didn't allow for infinite combos.
@@kaibaborp396 There's no need to remove this. There are literally plenty of ways to get out of this infinite combo. This was never an issue in BT2 and BT3 and you barely don't even see people using it in high level matches because, as I said, there are plenty of ways to get out of it.
Imo, I really didn't care for that. I would have preferred bringing the Raging Soul Combo back from Raging Blast 2 and incorporating it into Sparking Mode in place...
Did the game have good controller vibrations like when you punch someone did your controller vibrate or when your charging a kamehameha or any ki blast attack did it vibrate?
I've been seeing you play the game in several demos (love the content btw) and I have a question for you. Did you notice how long it takes to charge up the attack button for a smash attack? Looking at the videos it seems like its faster to do versus how it is in BT3.
Great vid. I love how you weren’t afraid to point out how Dragon Fist was overlooked. I posted a SSJ Rosé 3 min video with a similar mindset I bet you will enjoy
There was an option to make a unblockable hit when you charged an attack at full power, the camera even focus on the character doing that, is that feature also in sparking?
Sparking infinite combo was in bt3. It’s easy to get out of it. It’s a casual thing , try to use it on a player or cpu on strong in bt3 and see how long you can go before they punish you lol
The balance between characters isn't going to be that lop sided like people think. Xenoverse has more that tbh pick saibamen and try to fight broly in that game vs tenkaichi 3 saibamen and broly. It's alot more balanced in tenkaichi
This is kinda why I don't like people saying it's outright unbalanced. It's not as a unbalanced as people say it is... The only thing that's really an issue is super armor on a handful of characters and even then, balance notably similar to XV. Weaker/henchmen characters like Saibamen and Cell Jrs. Even Frieza Soldiers are treated more fairly in BT than XV. Just saying it's unbalance without proper explanation might deter new players from trying it.
Nobody seems that excited about the game but the game thats playing on screen looks amazing to me. Is the game mediocre or are the people who got the game nitpicking? because its weird.
Just typical db fans who always have something to complain about lol. The Reddit scene is very bad with it, but i personally love this game and I’m super excited for it
Jit if you just Z COUNTER. Thats the whole thing in bt3. And vanish. They have new defensive skills in this game and returning apparently from Zeno verse is perfect block.
Many blows or special attacks look very simple, as if they lack impact and they were made better in the 2007 game, which surprises me, something so simple to achieve cannot be achieved.
First off for the Dragon Fist on giants, I believe they would have to make every other melee super/ultimate to work in order to allow the move to work on giants. And 2nd, I hope the devs think about a bit of balances, or add like some equip item that makes fighters balanced & adjusted at least.
@@DerriousGamez yeah brain dead glazer the combat is missing things from bt3 and 2 how lazy they couldn’t even add the spirit bomb loading up feature they had on bt2 where you can see it getting bigger in the map
I am finally putting out the review video on Sparking! ZERO, let me know what you guys think.
the move where you mash the attack button until your sparking meter runs out is actually a returning feature from BT3, it was called violent rush.
Also in BT2 and probably BT1(never played it). This was always a thing in Tenkaichi, don't know why he thinks it's a SZ thing.

The clash is a timed mechanic initially then tap or spin for damage or damage reduction depending on win or loss
Loved this demo review bro. Keep up the great work and pumping out vids. 😊
Do you think they will reduce the graphics to maintain 4K 60 FPS when the PS5 is already overheating?
Online Battles and Custom Battles will be a madness.
The Sparking mode in BT3 also allowed the infinite combos, just fyi
Did it really? I honestly don’t remember that. What do you think about this going forward?

How did it feel to use goku? Did it feel like you were controlling the anime show?

I dont like the beam clashes and the clashes in general. The rotating canera takes away the action
The punch reaction look a lil late
Too much cutscenes during fight
Seems like it’s mostly nitpicks ngl
Yeah it’s nothing like crazyyyy, but there are players who want specific things as well. I’m super hyped for the game though, it was so fun
