That was an interesting test. I'm no expert, but that battery seems to do a lot for its size. Very compact. I do hope that handle release would get easier over time. Thank you for the review.
The power station is quite small and compact for what it can do. Thanks for the comment!
I have a Cap. One CC extension in Chrome and with that at Amaz. I see this unit for $159 right now. If I was in the market this would be a no brainer. Good review of these lessor known brands though, just because it isn't a Jackery or Delta doesn't mean it can't be just as good and you can save a bunch of cash. These are must have devices for camping these days.
That really is a good price for this unit. You're not paying extra for a name. Thanks for the comment.
I was considering buying this with the 100 w solar panel as a kit only $199 as an interim until I can afford a bigger and better unit. But I am glad I watched your video. Thank you so much I will not be getting this... I'll wait.
Good idea. This unit is about as small as they come. Thanks for the comment.
Your tests are very thorough. Do you have any headphones that you could try on the wireless charging pad? I checked your link and they’re offering another $50 off for a spring sale. If you can stack your coupon on top of it, it would be below $200 which is a great buy
Thanks. I tried some air pod pros and they don't even blink. I tried the same on the GoFort 1000 and they turn on for about 3 seconds. I honestly think the air pods need an apple proprietary wireless charger in order to work. Thanks for the comment!
I'm looking atto get a power station this one looks good could that s300 allpowers run a mini fridge. also what was the heater you had please great detail thanks.
I'm not sure if the unit will power a mini fridge. The initial surge might be too much. I'll need to do a test. The heater is a Wagner heat gun I bought at a local hardware store. Thanks for the comment.
Very good video, but in your CC capacity test, it seems that the battery capacity falls far short of the advertised 78000mAh. Could you clarify this?
The capacity isn't really that bad. You need to remember that 78000mAh is rated @ 3.7v, not 12v. Hope that helps! Thanks for the comment.
The recharge thing is very interesting. In a vehicle it means that you can recharge the unit at nearly 120w by charging simultaneously off a 12v cigar lighter and also via a cheap inverter thereby halving the recharge time when you're driving. Or am I missing something?
What would you be using to power the cheap inverter? A second cigarette lighter port?
Can it power a small tv maybe a router? Would like to know for how many hours?
It could power a router for 5 to 10 hours. Small TV... Probably 2 to 3 hours. Thanks for the comment.
Have you found the unit is prone to self discharge when stored. My neighbour and I have a unit and both went from 100% to 0% when stored in warm home.?
I know you should charge every 3 to 6 months. I don't really know. My son uses the unit for charging his tablet so it gets constant use!
@@OffGridBasement Thanks for reply, the best we can determine is that given there is no master on/off switch, the unit is constantly supply power to the switches which are like a touch sensitive switch and this must be draining battery but to totally flatten in 3 months seems excessive. I now have unit on a smart switch which turns on weekly to send some power to unit. Hopefully solves issue. I have a PoweOak unit which does not have this issue despite “similar” switches. Very annoying to pull it out in a power cut and find it dead!
Is there something special i need to do to get the wireless charging to work
You just need to make sure the DC is on. I had a hard time getting the wireless charging to work.
Hi do you know how to turn it off mine turns on on its own teied to figure out how to fully turn off strange
It should turn off if you hold the button down for a few seconds.
how long do you think i can run a 25 watt party speaker!! Love the show!!
I will be going threw cig lighter on unit!!!
My guess would be at least 9 hours! Good luck and thanks for the comment.
Thank You Brother!!!@@OffGridBasement
How long did it take it to go from 0 to 100% on the AC?
About 5 hours. It only charges @ 53w. Hope that helps.
I got mine .pluged in wall jack i t i guess mine was rno charged ... can someone help me with this or give me a idea what I should do?
Do you have it plugged into the correct port on the unit? The unit should turn on right out of the box. If it doesn't turn on then you received a defective unit and you send it back or email the customer support.
I cant get it to charge over 3w with usb c am i doing something wrong.
Try a different charging cable. That's all I can think of.
i have issues with my wireless charging too never worked for phone or earphone case
also on the app it keeps turning off my usb dc charger like every min with beeps
Thanks for the info and the comment.
Who does all powers ship through
I believe I got my unit through FedEx. Thanks for the comment.
Mine was at 0 on arrival even though the instructions say don't let it fall below 20% I think
I hope it charged up! Definitely shouldn't be dead when you receive it. Thanks for the comment.
I bought two, both flat on arrival because I believe the unit, not having a master on/off switch constantly feeds power to switches and flatten battery. I found 3 months of non use and the unit is dead flat.
This thing is always ON and drains your battery. Does not have a auto OFF feature. If you find a way to turn it off , please share it :) !
I've looked and there is nothing like an eco mode that shuts it off after a certain amount of time.
Same issue here. I received mine, a few days ago. I received it with battery totally drained. I sent my issue to the support and i m waiting. Bluetooth does not work either. Did you came up with any solution?
It ilyminates the screen every 8 minutes on you as does to other people ? stupit not to have off switch , maybe worth to open it up and put a switch ? seems simple to open but dont know if it should be done something like that.
@@basileiosdri3981 yes, it illuminates every 8 minutes. This is an issue. I ll ask for a return or a partial refund
@@spyrosvsli8567 same here
when mine came it was at 0 also
Thank you for letting me know!
I am satisfied with this machine it does what I want it to do. good for the price I just wanted it for camping for a light and to charge my phone and laptop thanks for the info
Wi Fi has a button to the left of DC
I believe it's only for Bluetooth. Just need to hold it down for a second to activate.
@@OffGridBasement I dont think your cellphone will charge unless you turn this on
@@OffGridBasement I have the S300 and after getting to the bottom I might actually be able to make it an s400....That last row of missing batteries???? Have you seen it???? I have a USB Spot Welder that came with a roll of Nickle and that is how it is done....Not sure if I fill up the last row of batteries if id have more than an s400....The app registers the S3 as an S4
@@XxMaGuS99xX I've never opened mine up. You say there is room for another row of batteries?
@Off Grid Basement yes, I anticipate this is why it's an S300 nor an S400 series.... gotta nake it ALL THE WAY to the bottom
I also could not use wireless charger on my unit.
Yes. I feel like it was a super weak signal. No good. Thanks for the comment.
You have to single press the Bluetooth button that activates it on mine
There is one great problem with this power station, self discharge. About 2-3 months and battery is dead.
I have a feeling that is a problem with all lithium ion based power stations. My LiFePo4 power stations hold a charge for much longer. Thanks for the comment.
