- Found this rare color version of Bobby singing his hit tune “Clementine” in London at the internet archive. The colors were muddy. They are somewhat better now. “Clementine” was written by Woody Harris, loosely based on the song and nursery rhyme “Oh My Darling, Clementine”. Bobby Darin's version charted #21 on the Billboard Charts.
Man, this guy could swing !! There's so many great Bobby Darin tunes out there to listen to !! Dig in ...
What a guy. In my view he was the best, I saw him, he could just do it all. The tops.
Seeing this Old footage of Bobby Darin I wish I was able to see him perform life unfortunately I was not around, but I listened to his music till this day. It may be 2024 but I still listen to him and represent him to the younger generation. I love you. ❤ you are missed each every day.
The week before this he was at the Glasgow Empire, where he nearly brought the roof down. I met him before the show at the Empire bar, and we spoke together for 2 minutes. He was a great guy, and very modest
The Man was just oozing style .!!
A masterclass in showmanship. He had it all.
I love listening to him, but seeing him perform is so much better, how fun. Thanks for sharing!
yes! especially true for me with Happy. Bobby's live version is epic!

What a treat! A young and massive talent in his early days....and in my hometown London. Even though i was 10 years away from veing born, my heart smiles because he was here. Love, love , love it!
What a rare pleasure 1960 Bobby live and color before a studio audience singing this outrageous song. I love it. Thanks for sharing this find with us. I've loved his songs since I969 and still do. I regret that he left us too soon.

So talented. Sad that he didn't listen to hs Doctors & have a second operation
Bobby did have a 2nd operation about 2yrs after the 1st one, unfortunately he didn't survive it.
In a nutshell, they don’t make ‘em like this anymore. They really don’t.
