This video never gets old for me! Beeeeeeep! 😂. I always thought it was just Tadesco. But my man Hugh did the same thing off road years back against some 450s...💪🏾
Ya,,, love Hott Sause Ivan !!! Soooo,,, bad ass bro !! After watching this when & bough me a 2014 HONDA XR650L with 740 miles. Brand new still. Cant wait to take it to the track & honk & pass people with blinker on, looks like SOOOO,,,, MUCH FUN. AWESOME VIDEO BRO !!! YOU GUYS ROCK, BADDEST 650L VIDEO EVER !! #9 WILL ALWAYS BE ALIVE !!! ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻👊🏻👍🏻👌🏻🙏🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lol, that's freaking awesome. The two best parts of the video are Ivan honking the horn at the lapers and then the finish line jump. Whipping a XR 650 L? Ridiculously awesome! And yes people, he's not a good rider, he's an amazing rider (former national mx champ).
I have one of those XRs, they are heavy and not as quick in response (in anything) as the CRF, it is not easy at all what Ivan Tedesco is doing... what a pilot!
Try that on a Kaw KLR 650 once, you will be picking dirt and gravel out of you face after the first jump! The XR will do it if you have enough balls!!!
I was thinking the same a month ago. I was afraid this bike was a heavy pig that cant be wiped around the track or woods. But Its been 2 weeks since I had the bike and wow! Its every bit impressive. I can ride this bike to the track and manage to do 60ft jumps and rail burms with its stock street tires (Sugar sand track). But I for sure ate shit on the bike multiple times and thats when you feel the weight of this bike :(. The trail suspension is decent! Def not as good as my race bikes. Surprisingly casing doubles doesn't hurt on this bike. I only jetted, took off smog kit, air filter. This bike gets it done!
@dragracer464, I do have a 650L and ride it very well but this video is of Ivan Tedesco a professional, He is doing a heck of a job making the big L look light and flickable, it isn't. This is what truly awesome skills look like!
My favorite video to share: when one of the guys at the track is telling me how he's getting a new carb or super suspension set up for cubic dollars, I reference this video and tell him to spend the money on MX practice! It's not the BIKE, bro... WE need to ride more like Ivan!
That was sweet. I just borrowed a 650L to ride with some friends up at Sonora Pass. What a friggin blast these bikes are!! They do ride very well in the dirt and trails.
Respect. A 350lb dualsport is not and easy thing to be throwing around the track like you did. Mad skills man. Good video thanks for the upload. Hopefully ill be able to ride my XR650L like that one day. Oh and good use of the horn, if you got it, honk it, lol.
That's amazing because that is all stock except for the tires! I have that same bike but I have it set up, clark tank, desmogged, supertrapp pipe.. jet kit. 40lbs taken off!
He scrubbed that 350 pound pig like it was nothing. That whip was insane for a bike with such a heavy crank. Riding on the rear sets at the end was funny as hell. Good job hot sauce
This is unbelievable, I had a DR650 and rode it on some tracks. If you had skills and no fear you can make them work in the corners. They're just so big and heavy. Tedesco can ride man!
I have been riding XR650L's for the last 12 years offroad exclusively. I like the freedom to go on the road anywhere i want for "guerilla offroading". I have put in 40,000 miles on them. I think they are the best all-around motorcycle in the world with a sweet engine that easily opens up with just jets and filter work, and removing plug in stock muffler to be a 4-sec 0-60 monster (with full knobbies) with massive torque.
LOL, that brake light though!. Super funny. Obviously not a motocross bike lol, but looks very capable in the right hands. No wonder they're still making it in 2018. I'm genuinely surprised it wasn't bouncing and loaming around more than it was. I actually had to look close to pick him out from the crowd of mxers
I'm actually surprised I'm so impressed LOL. I thought I'd be laughing because it looked so goofy, instead I'm laughing because it looked so good, considering at the time it was a 17 year old design big bore dual sport
Just bought an '09 xrl and love it. You really know how to handle that machine! Really makes me realize just how capable that bike is. By the way, what tires do you run?
I have to agree with you. That GTO was neat! As for Harley, the crowd will say your riding a girls bike if it isn't a Hog, so no sale. We just end up making what we need and to heck with the factories. Ride safe!
Dam Ivan thats Awsome riding as most people dont know the XRs dont handle like the little bikes. Come out to Arizona again and Ride my R model. I take my XR560R to the track just to make the others jaw drop
***** The best mod I've ever done to mine is putting in a FCR carb, simply so much more responsive, and other random ones like battery relocation, tank, tail lights, smog removal, K&N filter, front fender, 14tooth front, it needs them all but it is really a great bike ones you make it more like the XR650R
Eric Fling 2008 XR,I have the 4.7 Clarke tank(clear),FMF exhaust (awesome),re-jetting helps,after-market front springs,Kouba link(lowered). Helps if someone else has installed it first, mine came with $2k with extras...sweet!
+Łukasz Nałęczny yes the xr650L use to be an off road baja 1000 racer then later they bolted the stuff to make a dualsport I have one and love it with lights and fully stock I ride it at 35mph off road look up baja xr xr600
No, the 650L is air cooled, steel frame, and NOT the baja bike. The XR650R is the baja race bike, and unfortunately they never sold a dual sport version in the US.
No, Tedesco is riding a 650L, which is air cooled, steel frame, and NOT the baja bike. The XR650R is the baja race bike, with alum frame and water cooled engine.
Scott m you really need to k ow what your talking about before you make a full dipshit of yourself for the world to read the Xr650l is based off the xr600r basic same exact bike add a few cc’s and electric start. The xr600 won 5 Baja titles last being in 97 plus countless other Baja style events and was the woods weapon of choice by Scott summers.
@oldmotorguy Well yeah, i have realized it isnt a light bike. He is very good at throwing that beast around. Its ridiculous just how easy the pros make it look!
what are some of the street legal models in U.S. that's in the same category as XR650L (or easily converted to street)? i really like the supermoto style and around 400~800cc is perfect, thanks a lot man..
I know this does not relate to this video...but we are " Pig" riders. I had an issue with cold starts on my XR650L. Read many a post about the kickstand switch and sure enough my Red Pig would fire right up with the stand up but crank and crank with no fire with it down. Simple fix is to follow the KS lead up to the connection under the seat, cut the two green wires and pig tail them frame side, for me, seal them in heat shrink. The yellow wire is your KS down light on the bars.
@joshuatree1001 I used to ride the Los Angeles freeways on mine but, it's no sport bike. Still with the stock gearing it will go around 100. It is a 650 after all. The neat thing about the XR650L is that you can ride it to the woods and then keep going off road. I now ues mine for extended dual sport/adventure rides. The XR650L is a good bike and has few real rivals. Most of the new crop of dual sports are better performers in the dirt but are a bit high strung. IMHO
haha the horn! lol they need horns on their supercross bikes so when they make a pass they can flicker their lights and honk the horn and they will move over
@joshuatree1001 the xr 650 is super heavy vs a 250r. Mine was a tank. i only rode mine on trails and its was like riding a dump truck lol. Ivan is the man and makes that look so easy.
And those guys definitely look like pretty darn good riders. Yea, they are heavy for a "dirt bike"! 350 or so pounds right? I have a KLR 250 and even though the little thing continues to impress me, the suspension is awful...I want a XR650L now :)
This video never gets old for me! Beeeeeeep! 😂.
I always thought it was just Tadesco. But my man Hugh did the same thing off road years back against some 450s...💪🏾
All time classics never die! Thanks guys for keeping things unreal in a good way. Still riding my 650L on one wheel in '23
Baddest XR650L VIDEO I EVER SEEN,, HOT SAUCE IS A TRUE BAD-ASS , SUPER NARLEY ✊🏻✊🏻👍🏻🔥🔥🔥🥇🥇🥇
U know Y because XR'S RULE, even if I'm 12 years late.
THANKS from NOR-CAL!!!!!
Great video, he kicks butt on a XR650L and beeps when he laps em. BEEP BEEP shows what a great rider can do .
I want an XR650L
Ya,,, love Hott Sause Ivan !!! Soooo,,, bad ass bro !! After watching this when & bough me a 2014 HONDA XR650L with 740 miles. Brand new still. I remember this video when I was 19, 33 now I'm totally buying a new XR
honking at lappers lol that's hilarious
This is my favorite XR650L video. It's like the fat girl going to the prom with the star quarterback.
Lol, that's freaking awesome. The two best parts of the video are Ivan honking the horn at the lapers and then the finish line jump. Whipping a XR 650 L? Ridiculously awesome! And yes people, he's not a good rider, he's an amazing rider (former national mx champ).
Impressive. Now try it on a KLR.
Hot Sauce! Met him at a local dealer in San Diego several years ago. Yes, pro's are fast period on anything! :-}
my favorite video of all time!!!! smile on my face for the whole thing
LMAO laying on the horn. I'm hella gonna do that next time I take my XR on the track :D
Yea......I ride my XR650L to work everyday......love that I can catch some air if I want to.....good stuff....
If you have ever ridden with a pro, it is amazing how easy they can go fast. My friend used to race an XR650L and he was very fast on it, very fast!
I've been thinking of getting an XR650L. I think you've just convinced me! Great video.
I was thinking the same a month ago. I was afraid this bike was a heavy pig that cant be wiped around the track or woods. But Its been 2 weeks since I had the bike and wow! Its every bit impressive. ..from Italy..my friend, drive a beast like xr as you made is a great thing, for me you are,an exelent driver,bye..
@dragracer464, I do have a 650L and ride it very well but this video is of Ivan Tedesco a professional, He is doing a heck of a job making the big L look light and flickable, it isn't. This is what truly awesome skills look like!
Great video
the horn is hilarious. i love my '08 BRP...nice to know it has more capabilities than i do!
Love that part too!
Mine weighs 350#, I get on and it’s 530#. I’m a concrete cowboy...
The silhouette of the turn signals as he landed off the finish line jump made me spit tea
My favorite video to share: when one of the guys at the track is telling me how he's getting a new carb or super suspension set up for cubic dollars, I reference this video and tell him to spend the money on MX practice! It's not the BIKE, bro... WE need to ride more like Ivan!
Absolutely! It's all about skill.
That was sweet. I just borrowed a 650L to ride with some friends up at Sonora Pass. What a friggin blast these bikes are!! They do ride very well in the dirt and trails.
Gotta love the air he gets with it,all that is missing is the mirrors.......right -on!
this dude is sick! makes me wanna get a xr650 even more now even tho i ride a cbr929 the horn was hilarious
Respect. A 350lb dualsport is not and easy thing to be throwing around the track like you did. Mad skills man. Good video thanks for the upload. Hopefully ill be able to ride my XR650L like that one day. Oh and good use of the horn, if you got it, honk it, lol.
Love the narration of pesky lappers........too funny
adrenalineaddictUSA you can knock 30 pounds off that bike tho
How? ive come up with 10lbs at best
Very cool! I too live in the Mojave, high desert calif. The XRL is a great open desert bike, I have one too! Ride On!!!!
That's amazing because that is all stock except for the tires! I have that same bike but I have it set up, clark tank, desmogged, supertrapp pipe.. jet kit. 40lbs taken off!
Where did you cut 40??
Fuzzy Was i thought the most you could take off is 20lbs. What all did you remove or change?
Oh no. They had to set up that bikes suspension. No way could he have ridden it like that w stock suspension. Honda set it up as right as they could.
Ardrean I could have been a contender 👊 brilliant video Ivan rode the rims off the big red pig, unfortunately my knees are shot ive got'a sell mine😣
An XR650L whip, now we've seen everything. LMAO at the horn.
He scrubbed that 350 pound pig like it was nothing. That whip was insane for a bike with such a heavy crank. Riding on the rear sets at the end was funny as hell. Good job hot sauce
My wrists hurt just thinking of the suspension bottoming out!
wow! im very impressed,,i think the xr650l did very well on the track, considering its a big-heavy 650 enduro..
insane, my xrl feels like a boat anchor, ivans got some mad skills
you didnt use your blinkers lol .. awesome vid
This is unbelievable, I had a DR650 and rode it on some tracks. If you had skills and no fear you can make them work in the corners. They're just so big and heavy.
Tedesco can ride man!
4:20 he does a god damn tail whip 😂
This video makes me so happy to have an XR 650L! Too bad I don't ride like Tedesco!
That rider has the skill with steel balls.
That is a special touch with the Horn !!!!!!!!!!! Gotta loves those BRP'S
The Guy with the 650 has do to a video on a 230! I want soooo much to see a good guy like that trying a 230
230s are garbage
Hell yea dude. The 650L is a bad ass moto! I want one so bad lol.
Pigs do fly! :D
In this case, It's the difference in riders, Ivan is pretty darn good.
I have a 2000 XR650L and its sweet, wouldnt trade for anything..but Ivan makes it look easy,, nice Whip !!!!!
I have been riding XR650L's for the last 12 years offroad exclusively. I like the freedom to go on the road anywhere i want for "guerilla offroading". I have put in 40,000 miles on them. Lmfao!!! He's beeping at the Lappers!! Hilarious! I love my 650l. But I don't know if I'd attempt this with it lol!!
Hollyshit guys, you know what would be a great idea? Taking a 400lb pig on a motocross track.
that horn is funny as hell! you can tell hes holding back
It all gos to show, its all about the rider. You take the xr 650 to a whole level...
Just bought an '09 xrl and love it.
You really know how to handle that machine! Really makes me realize just how capable that bike is. By the way, what tires do you run?
I had an XL 350, XT 600 and my XT 650L is the badest...I shit canned the smog BS and got a good pipe and it kicks ass!...Thanks for the vid!
80 percent rider 20 percent bike
Yes sir. All my friends ride sport bikes and cant believe when i leave them in the twistys. Ive been riding all my life.

Awesome video! I love the lights and horn Ivan you are the man!!! I just wanna know if they will be able to get a horn on that new Yamaha YZF450...
the guy with the head light hahahahaa
I have to agree with you. That GTO was neat! As for Harley, the crowd will say your riding a girls bike if it isn't a Hog, so no sale. We just end up making what we need and to heck with the factories. Ride safe!
That was great! I love the pancake towards the end! Sickness!
Exelente que amor que tengo por las xr saludos desde argentina ivan un genio!!
@ 4:26-4:44
I about fell out of my chair laughing when I saw him using the "buddy" pegs...LOL
Saddleman just came out with a Dual Purpose seat for the XR650L. I'm 5-8 and 220 lbs. I use a lowering link and I love riding this bike!
He is holding back big time, you can see him setup his buddy so he can keep roosting him!
Dam Ivan thats Awsome riding as most people dont know the XRs dont handle like the little bikes. Come out to Arizona again and Ride my R model. I take my XR560R to the track just to make the others jaw drop
Are those stock?! If so, that's crazy for a dual sport to be able to do that!
As tall as it is geared in stock form I’ll bet that clutch was smoking red hot after a couple of laps
Dam Ivan thats Awsome riding as most people dont know the XRs dont handle like the little bikes. Come out to Arizona again and Ride my R model
That's pretty funny. I love the 'horn' warning he's comin up ta woop um;)
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did't know that XR650 is so off road capable bike!

***** Thats a good mod, wouldn't say its the best mod you can do. But definitely recommend it.

da horn was epic lmao
Haha this video is halarious, great job fellas
si, el video esta una nota .. la honda XR650L es una rechimbaa jhajahj y tubo unos saltos muy buenos ...exelente video ...☺☺☺
Nice track
The Pig still gets it done
Loved the gratuitous use of the horn. :-)
very cool video!
amazing!! it just shows talent, and not the kind of bike, has everything to do with riding bikes
The XRL does very well on the tracks, the frame is to wimpy, I cracked mine a dozen times. Many thousands of wheelies later I wore the cam lobes down.
In the hood they don’t even need a front wheel!
That’s like steeple chase on a draft horse LOL
This bike is very capable, its based on a baja 1000 winning bike. Its rider ability with this thing. Its kinda huge but can do some great things.
No, Tedesco is riding a 650L, which is air cooled, steel frame, and NOT the baja bike. The XR650R is the baja race bike, with alum frame and water cooled engine.

Bobby Ratliff right on brother i wanted to say that just didnt want to type it all out lol. The XR600R is a rare gem.
someone give that guy a crf1000l africa twin to throw around...theres a challange for him 😂
A horn beeping on the motocross track? Oh the hilarity!
You would be surprised what a good rider can do with a 650L, they are heavy but have good suspension.
Tada is a great guy that’s a hard bike to ride like that he could do it on a Klx to if it was uncorked it so it would get out of its own way
I wonder how stock that bike was?
It looks bone stock to me.
Nothing but skills baby!
@oldmotorguy Well yeah, i have realized it isnt a light bike. He is very good at throwing that beast around. Its ridiculous just how easy the pros make it look!
How do you whip 320 lbs... LIKE A BOSS!!
what are some of the street legal models in U.S. that's in the same category as XR650L (or easily converted to street)? i really like the supermoto style and around 400~800cc is perfect, thanks a lot man..
OMG thats so funny.. "pesky lappers" beeep beeep ohhh man if anyone owns a xr650 u know how awesome this is! :D
Haha thats funny....is that lake whitney? i wish they would have had a shot of them coming through the whoops before the finish line.
Hey, I didn't see you using that turn signals in the left hander drop off...
@joshuatree1001 I used to ride the Los Angeles freeways on mine but, it's no sport bike. Still with the stock gearing it will go around 100. It is a 650 after all. haha the horn! lol they need horns on their supercross bikes so when they make a pass they can flicker their lights and honk the horn and they will move over
@joshuatree1001 the xr 650 is super heavy vs a 250r. Mine was a tank. i only rode mine on trails and its was like riding a dump truck lol. Ivan is the man and makes that look so easy.

exactly.its about the rider. the xr650l is a good bike
That was f-ing kick ass!!!!!
Do you know what mods have been done to this particular one in the video? I'm assuming just the usual performance pipe and jetting.
