Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences see her shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with two other superheroes to form the Marvels.

Through years we had movies with women as main characters, Charlie's angels, Sarah connor, ellen ripley, those are the best examples, and they worked because they didn't have ideologies

Omg i LOVE THE MARVELS! It’s like a comic book coming to life! The camera work, colors and the action! Omf Brie ❤ she delivered the best Captain Marvel ever - obviously Carol now is for the first time ever - on her own skin! Such a development omg! Her invulnerable hero side and her vulnerable humanity. She started jaded and tired with all the pressure on her shoulders, alone.. and ends up loving being part of a team! We saw more layers to Carol’s personality. She couldn’t act on her max power, always holding back, so they wouldn’t randomly switch. Plus the fact that the bangle Dar-Benn wore weakened her. That made they think about real Great team ups! Awesome. Oh Kamala oh boy!!!!! She’s a delight! Monica so cool! Everything here is amazing. Their chemistry is out of this world! Goose and the Flerkittens! ❤ The flaws are normal, nothing we haven’t seen in the MCU before. Love it so much! So good to see my fave Captain Marvel back ❤
What truly saddens me is that I watched it for the first time when it came out on Disney+ and loved it…misogyny has really ruined the fun of watching Marvel movies.
It's not misogyny. It's just a bad movie. Plus men didn't see it so how can you blame men.

You have a point, the people online who blame women for everything bad with marvel are very stupid. But you have to agree, this movie and so many recent marvel movies have had many flaws
The critics don't even know what a fun movie is. You know what, it doesn't matter. It's their choice. Even though it has flaws, I enjoyed it.

"Feige wants to focus on “sure hits” instead of launching no franchises that he is not certain to what extent fans will accept."
This is the WRONG approach. Marvel has rich source material and so many interesting characters. Just go for it. No one wants to see the same 10 characters over and over again for 20 years straight. Feige's approach is like "prevent defense" in football. It prevents you from winning. Horrible strategy!
I had kinda skipped Ms. Marvel, since I figured it was targeted at teenagers and I wouldn't really be able to fully appreciate it, but after seeing what a standout she was in this, I went back and gave it a watch, and absolutely loved it.
Well Kamala is a Djinn, maybe that's how she survived the quantum band?
Dar-Benn got strong because she was absorbing powers

I love the last end credit scene in this movie and I love that Kamala got to interact with Carol in this movie.

I think this movie is better than what we’ve seen lately from marvel, however it still doesn’t come close to marvel a few years ago. I don’t know if we’ll ever get a movie “endgame” quality again..
Wow, did this not do well in theaters. A sequel to Captain Marvel, WandaVision, Ms. Marvel, and Secret Invasion (kind of), has become another Phase 5 flop. Well, I on the other hand find at least some upsides to this. Like Kamala is a pretty fun character, and the jumprope scene is also fun to watch. This movie does have one or two advantages, but at the same time also feels like they accidentally switch the script with this movie and a Disney Princess movie.
It was not the best, but I had fun with this and that is primarily what I want from a super hero movie.
I didn't like this movie, I was tempted to fast forward through so much of it. Am I saying it was bad? Nope. Just felt weird to me. Mind you I love Captain Marvel and Monica. Ms Marvel, eh.
You haven’t seen ‘Ms. Marvel’? SACRILEGE! IDC what anyone says, it was great fun and I feel sad that it was a mini series and not a proper 10 episode show.
The characters in that show were great, the writing especially at the end, not so much

My biggest issue with this film is that with all the magic, tech, and what not they’re unable to terraform. This also has major plot points in common with Spaceballs!

@@TimotheeReacts if you rewatch the final fight you’ll see that kamala and carol both go for her legs at different points and knock her down. kamala does it near the start and carol does it right before kamala punched dar benn from above

It was so bad that Bob Iger took control of Marvel after that. Moreover, there were rumors about the return of old characters. Without a doubt, this is the worst Marvel movie, the company is in a big crisis. Let's hope that someone will save the situation.

Watched this on Disney plus, i expected it to be terrible because of all the hate its been getting but i actually really enjoyed it. Its was no worse than most marvel films.
I still enjoy marvel movies like this one. I don't care what the bad reviews say.

This movies was not perfect but was also not as bad as the trolls tried to make it, as can be seen by the reactions. All the reactions I’ve seen so far have been positive. I know all the trolling haters hated seeing Disneys stock price jump last week, after a huge earning win last quarter. Hilarious!
Except Disney literally said two days ago their stuff is not doing well anymore when it comes to MCU.
Why it failed. #1 wasn't marketed properly #2 wasn't written for the right age group. People say it's getting trolled but that's because most of the other phases have had a more emotional setting instead of a joke machine. That shit got old. Thors love and thunder was DOG WATER!!!! Terrible writing will turn away the main people you want watching the movies. This had nothing to do with female leads. Even with how much I find Bri annoying I still gave the movie a chance and again just throwing jokes down my throat for what?! There's planets being destroyed but I'm supposed to laugh at the back and forth 2 friends are having while a girl who can't fly plummets to certain death and no ones answering the parents about where she just went? You see how those 3 situations conflict if put together in the exact same scene?

It was known about by spidey fans as early as 2019... Then we got the script leaks... it was fucked for 5 years before it hit the screen. But after watching another video after I made this comment. Yeah 100% the main actresses fault. She's.....good lord! Is she insufferable!!!
The hate this movie garnered when it came out was incredibly overblown. Iman Vellani is phenomenal, and the main trio has incredible chemistry. There are some issues (I'm looking at you singing planet). The comedy is good. The villain isn't my favorite. I think Zawe Ashton is a good actress, but her character never feels bad enough. Future teases of the Young Avengers and the OG X-Men have me excited for the future.

The last Marvel film you watched was Guardians 3.
Edit: I suggest you finish the rest of Loki season 2. It's the best written Marvel project in ages, and the ending is perfect. It's so well written, and I'm just glad the Loki writers are writing Avengers: Secret Wars.

Thor 2 and most all the Iron Man movies had mediocre villains.
The Incredible Hulk and Thor 3 had clunky writing.
Even the original Avengers had some plot pacing problems.
While I would still say the Marvels is NOT on the level of Phase 1, it's hardly like Phase 1 was the glorious thing we as fans have made it out to be.
The level of hate this movie is getting is not at all deserved. Criticism yes. But these guys who resent wokeness (which i don't care for either) are now praying on the downfall of Disney, Marvel and Star Wars. That's not love, that's petty hatred.
I honestly like The Marvel's even that nobody enjoys it but at least I had a good time watching it. Honesty I do not hate this movie at all I really liked it 👏⚡❤️

The movie wasn’t terrible there are a lot of moments I enjoyed like seeing carol sing on the singing planet and we’re everyone is getting eaten by the cats and Ms marvel was the highlight of the film overall I give the movie just a 6
The thing is, this is not a musical like Disney channel movies

I can’t be the only one that feels like these comments are heavily moderated, this movie was genuinely not good, sorry to say it, it required way too much investment on the viewers side excepting them to already know tree quote on quote marvels when only a single one had a theatrical release
on the one hand its perfectly fine to like or love this movie. on the other hand, everyone needs to stop acting like this movie is perfect and without flaws, and anyone who hates it is only doing it bc theyre misogynists. there are constant, notable flaws throughout the film that, in my opinion make it one of the worst marvel movies ever. however, im not gonna stop others from enjoying it by calling them a shill, just as you should not invalidate others views by just slapping the misogynists label on them
