Hi Courtney, hopefully you can answer this. If a house hasn't been built yet, is it possible for the new home developer to add solar power and a power bank to the home and have it go under the VA home loan?
Hi Jay, Sorry I didn't see your comment earlier. Most builders in the Denver area do not do solar at all. Most of them do install the conduit for solar to make it easier to install down the road if you want. Lennar is one builder who does do solar in some of their communities. But I do not believe they allow the cost of the panels to be rolled into the loan. You either have to sign up for their lease option or pay the solar panel cost out of pocket.
