This is me testing the strength of the 1st bars I received in the post that were damaged.
Part 1 is the first part of this video:
• toseek carbon fibre ha...
and in part 3 I test the second set of (good) bars to see if they are strong before fitting on my bike
• toseek carbon fibre ha...
Thank you so much for saving my money. I was just about to order it. very thanks
This was damaged on delivery
Wow watched this after i bought toseek stem and seatpost. I hope they’ll last long. And can you please do test for stem and seatpost too?
Do you have an update on the stem and seat post?
Can you test the toseek carbon aero intergrated handlerbars? Because i just bought them and wanted to see how stiff it is and how strong it is thanks!subscribed!
yeah of course you send me the bars and I'll test them
Just ordered a set of these, hopefully I can shed some light on them. Only from reading the comments did I realise the bars were already cracked. As someone has already said, maybe some notes as I was nearly going to cancel my order. Anyhow, review to come👍
what were your results
@@jadler10 still running fine. I have no faults as of yet.
@@JamesSocialCycling that's great thanks for the reply

Is the broken side(left) also the side where it has a damaged when you received it? Based on what you said at part 1
the side that broke off was the side that was already cracked when I received the bars. the other, undamaged side, was very strong and I couldn't break it. I've been out on my bike 3 times now and done at least 100km with the new toseek bars and they havent cracked yet, and I've hit a few big potholes whilst in the drops...
@@fenwick458 Might be worthwhile to put that in the notes ... I jumped straight to this video after hearing about Toseek and almost disregarded them altogether.
😅😅😅 you saved my life
I remember a youtube vid where someone stood on top of chinese EC90 drop bars and it flexed but did not break.
I just installed a new Toseek carbon flatbar on my hybrid bike (road bike frame on flat bars) torqued to 3.5NM.
Do you have an update?
@@streetdreamz-houstontexas9907 By the time passed with no response, maybe we can tell the bar isn't really good.
Precisely the reason I stay away from carbon. I've broken a lot of carbon parts throughout my years of cycling but never an aluminum or other metal part. The latest carbon part to break on me recently is the rear derailleur cage on my Dura-Ace 9150 RD. A new cage part was ordered but I've been waiting 2 months now and still no word as to when I will get it. I should have went with Ultegra.
maybe you bought the fake ones? My carbon parts is much more durable compare to the aluminum
@@SussyBaka-qi5fn Yeah. You are pretty smart. It all comes from China. If you haven't had issues with carbon yet you better knock on wood because you may have just opened your mouth to soon.
@@wasupwitdat1mofiki94 Bruh i already crush this carbon handle bar and carbon wheelset like a dozen times on rocks and trees lol still working no issues
@@wasupwitdat1mofiki94 Oh btw i have a carbon frame to, i already crushed this thing ten times on big rocks, toss in the woods, and bang it on the trees still no cracks only scratches and my bike is already 4years old
@@wasupwitdat1mofiki94 and i f you're curious im using diamondback carbon bike all carbon, Maybe the ones you bought are fake china shits carbon lol real carbon is durable dude
why are you misleading people ? the drop was clearly already damaged. you cannot brake the carbon like that
I'm not misleading anyone, it says in the description what I did. when researching carbon bars I was told that they would never snap clean off, and instead would behave like a healthy tree branch and fold but not come apart. but this video proves that they do snap clean off. Why are you so upset about me posting this video, do you make or sell these bars?
@@fenwick458 no i dont but its misleading , you should have said in the video that handlebar was already damagedç
Do you think a branded carbon handlebar would have broken in the same way?
I'd hope not. from my research I was told when carbon fails it's incredibly hard to shear it off, it acts like a healthy tree branch and is really hard to break it free. well turns out that not the case for toseek carbon, not all of them at least
Maybe they can make video with the same test on branded carbon handle bar..
Didn't a canyon bar famously snap off recently... 🤔 Sure it can happen to any carbon part occasionally.
@@mohamadsyarezamohamadnor2016 if you can supply the part then they can test it. Carbon parts ain't free
@@sepg5084 im sure they definitely have the original carbon handle bar right.. then maybe they can test the same force on their carbon handle bar.. if it break then maybe they can claim say it the handle bar is not strong enough to the manufacturer. It just an idea.. bcoz to do some test to prove something u need to have a comparison. Peace.
You are misleading you didn’t tell that the handlebar was already cracked and the other side no crack
it says they were damaged in the description
And here I am thinking about buying one of these cheap Chinese carbon parts. Good thing I stopped by this video. I guess I just have to stick with alloy parts
