The Song in the beginning is "To Live is to die" 8th Track from the album ...and Justice for all. Love it!
Master of Puppets starts at 3:57
This song is about the drug addiction, how the drug starts pulling the strings and becomes the master. That whole album is about the manipulation.
You have no idea what this song or album is about, you didn't write it.
@@generalapathy7490 And the one who did all the lyrics hasn't given any interviews since, yeah.
@@generalapathy7490 🤡🤡
@@chupasaurus he's the dude who doesn't believe Disposable heroes (and One) is an antiwar song oh no, listen how cool is going killinn someone in battle prrm prrm prrm
@@brandonleon4068 That hits too close since I'm Russian and we can clearly see now what would happen if you ignore or avoid these kind of people.
best live concert in history....FACT!
Never can go wrong with Metallica.
St. Anger disagress lol. JK, actually that album live is pretty decent.
To Live is to die at the beginning for our boy Cliff RIP !!! ahh brings back memories of one of the most talented bass players ! gone too soon.
Saw this tour in Toronto. An absolute lesson in shredding. Untouchable at this point of their career.
That concert was amazing, the sheers brutality of every song in that concert was unbelievable. I think that you should listen to fade to black next as it a mental health masterpiece.
My first master of puppets, I watched them play this August 1987. Absolute mayhem 👍
I have jammed this since the '80's-now I jam it on my guitar-it's a fun lick to play.Great song from a stupendous band!
Spectacular song and performance. Hetfield is mighty here with his vocals and propulsive rhythm playing. All the members excelled.
Absolute legends.
I love the constant bass underlying the lead guitars in the intro. Then the explosion. Phenomenal stuff.
Love your reaction. It's like you're trying to hold it in and study the video/song, but the stank-face and head shakes show you're inner metalhead breaking through!!! \m/
Just Love your joy and appreciation for this great music!!! God Bless Beautiful Young Lady!!! 😉
Hi Rebeka I have just subscribed! your the sweetest, I wish you all the luck in the world with the channel. Love from Ireland ☘️
Hi Beca! You're doing a great job about the mental health🙂💪You are absolutely right, it is really very important👍Thank You for that!
Greatest band in history!
Wow that was amazing so good thanks your one of my favorite reactors
Thank you.🙏🏼😊
Love you from Italy! ❤️
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 one of my favorite Metallica songs. Great version. Thank you Rebeka.
Thank you.🙏🏼😊
In my go back in time bucket list...
I've gotta get to this show!!
I so wish I'd have been there!!!
Watch them perform Battery and Whiplash from the same show, absolute badass \m/
This is favorite song by them. For so long, I loved just the song. However, I’ve realized that the path the song goes along is what really does it for me. It’s something I’ve looked more at with metal in general. The idea that you can do, as you sorta mentioned, more than one song and find a way to combine them without it just seeming like a mess.
I could see you weren't feeling it, Rebeka. That's a song I would have suggested doing the studio version first. It's a fast and hard song to begin with, but they really ramp it up live. It's all about the energy and crowd interaction, and you lose some of the musicality and nuance that you get with the studio recording.
And a little advanced. Start Off with Nothing Else Matters, then Orion, then maybe this or the VIDEO of "ONE" needs to be the video. Starting off with some of the Black and Load albums are actually better to break the cherry with than using Albums like …And Justice For All and Master Of Puppets. They are too chaotic to understand for the first time. You need to settle into it like familiar.
There's a lyric video out there on youtube somehwere. That's a great place to start with this song. You will really enjoy the live versions after you've gotten familiar with the studio versions. Live is much faster with more audience interaction.,
You either love the *"gk gk gk gk gk gk gk gk gk"* or hate it, but either way it mooves you!
I've never spent more time alone w a song than this one. I rocked out w my guitar to it maybe 1000s of times as a teenager.
Love it. I was at this concert and it was sooo lit.
I love the look on your face as they start ripping the song! This is my favorite Metallica song and it will bring the rocker out in anyone! Hope you enjoy!🤘
This was the most badass live version of this song. They even used it for the Stranger things this passed season!
Great reaction! This is definitely a more angst infused less subtle song from them. It's about drug abuse and the relationship of the drug with the addict. I had a therapist when I was younger who said that anger is just sadness turned inside out refectling the solid shell of a more valnerable softer emotion hideing within. It only reveals the angry element of its complex idenity because sadness is often seen as a emotion that's lacks strength but that's obviously a misonseption. It's like a person who's depressed putting on a facade of a tough person to hide thier pain so no one knows they are in reality wounded by life's sometimes twisted path of unseen road blocks ahead and the uncertanty of not knowing what's to come. So basicly the same band that can make you cry can also make you rage and mosh because they have an amazing ability to express thier complex emotions in thier music. Under every solid foundation is the soft broken soil beneath.
You probably should've reacted to the studio version. The song live is pretty chaotic and you can't really appreciate the nuances.
great song choice to react Rebeka
Thank you so much,God Bless you❤❤❤
Awesome 👍👍 reaction friend
Thanks god i can hearing this masterpiece and no deaf
Metallica was My Firts Ever Concert..🤘in 1992..I was in 5th Grade and it Changed my Life
I was at this show, first time I saw them live. It was Killer.. They were filming, so opened the gates and let everyone rush the stage.. The Cult opened and Ian Asbury got into a fight.. Great night all around.. 🤘😈🤘
Okay, this was awesome! I went to see Metallica in 2005, I think. Either that or 2004, either way I saw them then in Seattle as well. Metallica's a very cool band that's easy to listen to (for me at least).
I'm glad to hear that you didn't absolutely hate the song, despite it not being your sort of music. :) Good vibes.
I saw Them at the same year in Brazil, the best concert of my life!
Well, my own opinion: She's not just known with Metallica, she is inlove with it. As a Slav and fan of Metallica I can see that in a most of beginning
Now you should check out Battery & Fight Fire with Fire!!!!!
Awesome reaction!!! Try Metallica creeping death live in Moscow 1991 please. I love the new look also you look ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!
To appreciate any live performance, one MUST hear the original studio recording FIRST. This establishes what the original "vision" was, the arrangement, the mood, all that crap. Once one is familiar with the "original", THEN the live performances deliver more of a punch or impact, cos you can recognize the improv and changes and variations that often occur when played live. That's just my 2¢, but I firmly believe it as gospel.
4:06 THAT face 🤣
This was Metallica's last album with his original bass player: Cliff Burton.
He died in a bus crash in Stockholm 3 years before this show. He was replaced for Jason Newsted (bass player of the band until 2001).
🤘Rock on, Becks. Just like Metallica does 🤘
Thank you.🙏🏼😊
Bus crash*
@@OpticHamster69 Right, bus crash
Sei fantastica ed incredibilmente bella ...come sempre 🤦 ti amo rebekka 💘
A killer one !!! \m/
Great choice🤟
Thanks for your reaction. If you want a more recent live performance of Master, try the Québec Magnetic version. They interact much more with the crowd. My favorite, bcs I was there, hidden somewhere. Have a nice day.
I was at that show ..was 13 years old 😎🤘🔥🖤😜
1986: Around the end of that summer, my parents discovered a cassette copy of the first heavy metal album I ever owned, a little number named "Master of Puppets" by this up-and-coming West Coast band named Metallica.
They didn't bother *listening.* They took one look at the cover and the artwork and decided--- that I was in *trouble,* that I was in danger of possession by SATAN, that I was sick and on a dark path and in serious need of HELP. (Readers of lyrics would discover that the album is an anti-war, anti-drug plea for understanding for the mentally disturbed, but never mind.)
2022: I check out RLB's reaction video for the title track, and--- there is an opening message shout-out to the need for responsible *mental healthcare.* :) And so goes the circle of life...
Yes friend IT IS CIRCLE OF LIFE
Wow nice to see another Latvian paying attention to metal music! Hello from Latvia
If you're looking for more melody then have a go at Low man's lyric, Fixxxer, Hero of the day, bleeding me, Outlaw Torn. The last three I recommend watching the S&M from 99
very nice video👍👍👍👍👍👍 i like it very much
And not a single phone in the audience! Yeah, I know it's '89, saw them on this tour in Oslo/Lillestrøm October '88, those were the days, only pure mayhem!🤘🤘
If you want something a little less heavy Nothing Else Matters might be more enjoyable. Elton John recently said it was one of the best written songs ever. Fade To Black is one I would check out as well.
Im convinced metallica is the greatest band ever. So much legitimate feelings translated through their music. And im not even a metal head.
every Metallica reaction should be from 89 Seattle.
also every ac/dc reaction should be from '79 paris.
Hell yeah! Good old (young) James. Anger, energy, power, hair and beer! Could you check snm version?
this song is dope
This is Metallica at the peak of their powers, and right before they went from the biggest metal band in the world, to the biggest band in the world, period. This whole show is perfect. Check out Seek and Destroy or The Four Horsemen from it. They're heavy, but not too crazy, and a solid introduction to early Metallica.
This is the stuff that made them their lifelong fans, the early years. The Cliff years, at least on tape. That was Jason Newsted on bass here.
I didn't know you listened to METAL ...THANK YOU
Great Reaction Rebeka! Not everybody likes heavy metal like this, but that's okay, at least you listened to it and were honest about your feelings about this song. You would probably like a band called Nightwish. They are very popular in Europe (founded in Finland) and they are classified as Symphonic Metal, but they are not nearly as heavy as Metallica and they have a female world class singer named Floor Jansen. They are one of the most reacted to bands here on YT and there is a big Nightwish Army that watches reaction videos of them.
It's costomery that when you listen to older Metallica you have to let your hair down.
100% AGREE
Yeah the lead singer James Hetfield that’s what he does he really pours his fucking heart and soul into his performance because as a front man that’s what you do. As a front man it’s either you go big or go home. And this live version of master of puppets is just God tier level energy I mean if anyone cannot head bang to this then they are not human. This live version drives me insane and really wakes me up in the morning and gets my blood flowing.
Don't worry if you didn't like it, because Heavy Metal is not for everybody. That gesteurs on their faces, that anger in their voices matches perfectly with the lyrics. Master of Puppets is about how the drugs dominate the consumers until their own death. You've reacted to a masterpiece 🤘🏼🎶
Master master where's the dream that I've been after...😭😭😭😭
Hail Metallica from Malaysia💓🤟
This is the “Metallica always has an angry face era.”
Rebeka sweetie, I'm going to go out on a limb and say, judging by your expression, you were not prepared for this experience. This is a hard one to get started with. If you want a good one though, try Metallica 1991 Moscow Enter the Sandman. The crowd alone is ridiculous. (1.6 million+ in attendance.)
Good day Rebeka, check out "for whom the bell tolls" and "fade to Black" from this same concert, Imsure you will enjoy it, these two songs are better than the studio version. be cool stay safe. D DAY DAVE.
James is the greatest ryhthm guitarist to ever live.
That's, Metallica for You! 😮🤘🐺
The intro(only strumwntal)it’s no master of puppets, but another song, calling”to live to die”inside in the and justice for all album
Try doing their song Fade to black, Five finger death punch the bleeding and Bad Wolves zombie.
An iconic masterpiece but for metal heads of course...RIP Cliff Burton. PLEASE react to OPETH - Ghost of Perdition (LIVE AT RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATER)... This piece of art will give you all the feelings combined.!!
I Don't know this Song but metallica stile Is inconfondibile....great song
You choose the best one to react to
Te intro is other song, called to live Is to die, Is an instrumental song
Cliff!!! ❤️ The Kings 🤘
I remember seeing these guys live 20 years ago with my now wife except she got so blasted on speed n acid we had to leave halfway through their set. I still haven't let her live it down lmao
Nice song ⚡🐉⚡
Great reaction Rebeka!!! You’ll never go wrong with live Metallica!!!! One of metal’s greatest songs in my opinion… I saw them live in 2017 and it was probably my best concert ever… need to see them again… Remember to always “ obey your master “!!!!!!!
Thank you.🙏🏼😊
It's a song about drug addiction - the drug is the Master. 'Chop your breakfast on a mirror'.
For me this is the Best Metallica concert 🤘🤘😎😎
🤘😛🤘
That is what is called old school bay area thrash metal...And believe me Rebeka...these guys are still kings today at playing this stuff...check out the bands official You Tube channel here. I'm sure you'll find more Metallica songs you will enjoy.☺\m/
Best Album from Metallica 🤘
If you've never heard fade to black you should check that song out. It's a very deep insightful song that relates to mental health and the dark unlit direction that some fall into.
👍👍
You should start with their slow song, "Nothing Else Matters". And continue with, "One" or "Fade To Black".
Seem like Master Of Puppets to heavy for you girl 😅😅😅
Nothing is better than Metallica live.
First part of that video is the song To live is to die of the And Justice for All album
I'm just here wondering if you're doing another Black Widow movie. Thanks!
Tickets were 20.00 general admission back then. Rock Gods.
Sold out stadiums 5 mins. No net back then you camped out and partied. They have no idea today. Concerts every week back then.
You should do Pantera “domination” dimebad will amaze you like he already do for many of us Metal Heads
I love your neck, it's so long and gentle
You should check out Slayer’s Angel of Death live lol
They play the same song every album lol
Who needs exercise when you can play drums in Metallica :)
I LIKE METALLICA & THIS CLIP🤩✅
best linup ever (with Jason)
lyric video is best. you can hear instruments and vocals better. The message is awesome also.
Rebeka great job with your reaction and thoughts on Master Of Puppets live performance from Metallica from 89
Thank you so much!😊🙏🏼
Vaya registro!!
