Metallica is the kind of music I'll listen to when I'm either very angry or when things are going very bad because the songs are largely dark, aggressive with grim lyrics.
This album AND the new Overkill album are coming out the same day! I'm pumped because these two were my absolute favorite thrash bands in highschool during the height of 80s thrash. Both are still in my all time top 5, with Metallica being #1.
@@James-hh1lq I just love that both Overkill and Metallica have a new album on the same day. Im old and these two bands mean a lot to me, in their own way. Not a competition, just be happy they release new music. We will miss them when theyre gone.

At the end they announced they were going to live stream the 2 Dallas shows to cinemas around the world, in August I think. I will be going if I can!
The riff beginning at 2:30 is badass, sounds like something off Death Magnetic. Overall a good entry into the Metallisphere; I still think Lux Aeterna is the best new one. I hope this song helps James finally move past those troubled 72 seasons of his own youth...what is he, 59?...over 2 times as many seasons of good, successful life since then...maybe celebrate those next?
I found a couple of sections kind of odd at first and others just brilliant, but after a couple of more listens things were sitting tightly and the whole thing really grew into me, especially the chorus and that melodic part after the lead, those are great. And I love the intro, I have no idea what that Pump it is because I have probably never listened to it 😂

my favorite single so far is Screaming Suicide. also the next album you should start checking out after you finish the Justice album is their first album KIll Em All
I bought my tickets to the listening event the day after they went on sale. Watching it at a Studio Movie Grill. Big recliner size chairs and actual food served. This is my favorite so far. The intro, in my opinion, is repetitive because the first years are that way. It gets harder and faster as your age and mind make you become more aware of who you are, and what you want to get away from.
That intro I thought was great. It makes for a perfect concert opener. I’m just curious as to why you liked darkness a lot more? I thought the opening for that one was weak and it didn’t really lead to anything. If you listen from a instrumental point of view, this one blows darkness away.
Honestly, I usually have to listen to an album cover to cover like 10-20 times before I have a true favorite! I pick up different things each listen, you know?
