Kaya Project - "This Too Shall Pass" (2024 Live GuZheng Performance)

Ever since I first saw a Guzheng (In Ray Man music, Covent Garden Circa 1994) I fell in love with the sound & I always wanted to own one, but they were quite expensive & also not very practical due to their massive size.
Skip forward 10 years or so - upon visiting a friend in Brixton I saw a GuZheng in the corner of the room! “Wow! Is that yours?” - Apparently It had been given to my friend by someone in lieu of some money owed & was just sitting there, mostly unplayed. - Well… After a tiny bit of bargaining & friendly haggling, The GuZheng was mine! - I happily took it home & it has since made its way into several Kaya Project & Hibernation songs, including the most recent of which ‘This Too Shall Pass’ which shall be included in this weeks mini-album ‘Transforming Sorrow’. Such a beautiful, meditative instrument to play & one of my most favourite musical sounds in the world.
The Tongue Drum played in the song is the best thing I ever brought back from a festival - I picked this up during my time in Chillout Planet festival, Russia back in 2017. It has been used on many Kaya Project songs since & is always a joy to play.
