Every fitness or influencer has it's legion of simps and fans. I don't see why she would be any different. I think her appeal is she doesn't try to be an instagram baddie and she really seems into lifting not just doing it for attention like other girls.
That's my take man. I saw her do that Jubilee natty or not episode, she seems like a genuinely sweet person, she's definitely likable. As for simping/fanboys, I avoid being one myself, we've been reminded over and over that you really don't know a person, unless you really know them personally. My little sister is at a similar level after 3 years of training but not as lean but when she does bodybuilding poses, she looks very muscular and the irony is she trained like a powerlifter. I've been training for way longer and yet I don't look as big mainly due to genetic differences (even though we have the same parents) since she is 5'4" while I am 6'4". She doesn't get simps like leanbeefpatty does mainly because she's not showing her body on social media, but when she goes to the gym, guys stare at her and they're impressed because she outlifts many of them. But she is also proof that women can be strong and muscular while being feminine as long as they're not super lean because being muscular just makes her look like a woman with muscles, not like a man. Picture the bronze era female bodybuilders that is kind of what she looks like.
@goat252 Except it is relevant. My point is it's much easier to look big when you're short. When you're tall, the potential is so high, you have to gain a lot of weight just to look decent. I put on a total of 49 lbs (35 lbs of muscle) just to look as muscular as Brad Pitt in Fight Club. Realistically, I can gain another 43 lbs of mostly muscle just to get to Revival Fitness' level. That is a lot. Most guys who are 5'9 start out at 140 lbs, they can expect to gain 30-40 lbs before they are advanced. In other words, if I was short, I would look huge having gained 35 lbs of muscle but as a tall guy, it's nothing. And the thing is just because I'm so far from my potential doesn't mean I gain muscle much faster. I tried bulking harder at one point and I gained mostly fat so now I'm taking it slow, going at the rate that Revival recommended which is 2 lbs per month of weight gain while training hard and inducing progressive overload. I see young men all the time who envy me but if they knew how much more work they would have to put in to look big, I don't think they would want to be so tall.

If I told you a 5'3" 129lbs girl deadlifts 336 (152.5kg), squats 286 (130kg) and benches easily 176 (80kg) would you think she is natural? Because I've seen mature women, who take steroids for years, namely stanozolol (Winstrol) and trenbolone, and whose numbers are 20lbs better than these numbers.

UA-cam algo-'d Patty to me about a week ago (and you today). She is definitely hitting the "plain jane" aesthetic, whilst also actually being incredibly hench. I'm early in my reconstituted fitness journey (just started on weights 3 months ago, @ 51). Theres not much she's doing wrong in my eyes, apart from the obvious knowing she's attractive and working it. If there are men throwing her subs, then thats on us (men) than her. Otherwise pretty inspirational and quite nice to look at at the same time.

Muscles =/= not feminine. Patty for example is very feminine, the way she talks, the mannerisms etc. That goes far beyond the physical. Plenty of traditionally masculine men barely have muscles either.
As far as lift specific warmups go, I follow these guidelines, and my clients do as well. Hypertrophy - One set of 15, followed by 2-3 sets of 4 up to working weight and reps. Strength - One set of 5 at 50%, followed by sets of 3, taking around 10% jumps. If going above 85%, change to singles at 85%, then taking 5% jumps.
All these famous ppl do this shit. Rappers, youtubers, etc. I saw metro boomin standing next to tiny ass Neon the other day and Neon made metro look small. That means he has to be like 5,5 120 pounds. In fitness you have tons of manelts who, while swole, are barely pushing 5'6 or 5'7 max
4:56 even for meet preps id train on a stiff bar. You can honestly get like 50 pounds outta deadlift bar. One of my worst meet preps ever a year years ago I was pulling 430 as a grinder on a stiff bar warming up but that deadlift bar saved my lift and pulled 480. That said I’m much stronger now and it’s been years since I’ve touched a DL bar. I’m thinking I’d have like 550 in me rn on a DL bar and like 520-520 on a stiff. Edit: she def apart of the hook gang. I trained in the 4-6 rep range for a decade with no injuries, probably because I'd do 4-5 acclimation sets when warming up. Just do one to two reps with each warm up set.

I believe she is a good person and does try to be what she is not.

I really don’t understand why locking out seems to be out the window with a lot of people. Like I guess people don’t wanna the bonus of tricep strength. Especially if your a powerlifter you wanna be really strong on lock out cause that usually be the reason why you can’t lift as much as weight.

The rest in between reps is a common thing now in powerlifting. Called cluster deadlifts. But it’s mostly only useful for people who are planning on competing, dunno why she’s doing it other than to look like a powerlifter lol?

Girls are better at recovery and fatigue management than guys are. So they can do more than 2 or 3 sets.

@@REVIVALFitness hey I never said she wasn’t! That much is pretty self evident, I think. I don’t remember what she put up at her last meet but I remember it being impressive, on flat bench. I just cringe so hard at her and her videos I can’t watch them, even with the thirst trapping (I’m a mere mortal, still susceptible to thirst traps 🤷♂)
But the fact still stands that she and all other women who are fitness influencers really don’t need to make the gains that a man does in order to go viral and sustain the attention that translates to income. There are some of them who are more like Patty and at least try to make the fitness front and center to their content, rather than just making an excuse to thirst trap us. So I will at least give her thst and say she tries to be better at it.

The rest in between reps is a common thing now in powerlifting. Called cluster deadlifts. But it’s mostly only useful for people who are planning on competing, dunno why she’s doing it other than to look like a powerlifter lol?

No, the pull ups don’t involve the low back which would usually be the issue there. You could change it if you wanted.
