Garmin Instinct Test Mode

I discovered accidentally the test mode when I was trying "Master Reset", see
support.garmin...
Apparently they made Copy/Paste from another Garmin device support page, because there is instruction "release the Start button" while Garmin Instinct has no "Start" button, so I had to use "Trial and error" approach.
Note:
In firmware version 6.60 items in Test Mode are reformatted and adapted to the Instinct's display, so that no item is hidden.
Note 2:
ABC button is enough for entering into test mode! See comments.

Any idea how I can exit this mode when the watch doesn't have any buttons? I have a Garmin lily which is stuck in this mode and just refuses to go back to normal.

This works for me.
Test mode
1. Power off watch
2. Hold the Down(ABC) Button and power(CTRL/LIGHT) on the watch
3. Let go of power button and keep holding Down(ABC) It should boot into test mode.
4. Let go of Down(ABC) Button.
5. Hold Power button(CTRL/LIGHT)to turn off then power on to normal

You are right. This is easier and not so dangerous as what I have found. Apparently other keys have no meaning, your procedure is simply a subset of my procedure.

@@mm0063 I was actually playing around with different button combinations. This way no accidental hard resets.

Doesn’t work on solar model. Stuck on boot screen. Had to do a master reset.

How on earth do i get out of this? There is no way out. I have a 4s these buttons do not exist. Also where is the off switch. How the F does one even use this watch. It is a complete head f. And why can't I stop it vibrating and saying pedometer. Yes ive googled. That leads 2 more confusion as the garmin instructions dont match
