- Peter Cartwright engages Charlotte,a nurse,to tend his dying wife Katherine and, several months after Katherine's death, begins to date her, finally marrying her. Whilst Peter's younger son Dom gets on with her his brother,17-year-old Stephen, becomes obsessed with the idea that Charlotte killed his mother and is now trying to poison him. He hears voices from the television warning him but refuses to accept that he needs psychiatric help. Indeed when he goes on trial for trying to kill Charlotte,he clings to his story that it was self defence to prevent her killing him and Dom.

What is it with Robert Sheehan's characters and bowling alleys
Ikr. Maybe he's there for Kenny's birthday.
@@firebug2793 I was gonna say the same thing 😂
@@firebug2793 LMFAOOOO💀💀💀
Lmao 😂🎂👮♀️ pretend the police emoji is the handlers swat team lmao only true TUA fans will get the two emojis together
Robert Sheehan is remarkable in everything I've seen him in. He can do drama as well as comedy, he's just so good!
The dad is a real piece of work. Only thinking about getting his leg over rather than allowing his children time to grieve.
He’s the guiltiest one there.
His amZInG at doing accents omg
Dude he's from Ireland
Brittney Gorman yeah but this isn’t an irish accent? lmao
@@kieran4625 what accent is this?
If you mean American then yeah
Is there no limit to Robbie's talent? I have seen him do a London accent, an American, Russian and now Liverpudlian. He is an amazing actor....
....and he even kept his clothes on in this 😂.
Are you in love?
Absolutely! Aren't you? 😂
😂😂😂
@@sunnyduscleI wonder who isn't, I wish he would fuck me senseless (respectfully)
he’s literally so good at accents i cannot get over it
Sad story...selfish adults...the woman starts taking over when the sons haven't been given time or space to grieve their loss...and the Father puts his needs before his sons.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you.
Ikrrrrr 😐🧐😠😠😠
I feel so bad for his character. He wasnt given proper time to process his grief over his mother's death. And his father is absolute shit for bringing a new woman into the home so soon...wtf was that
Robert’s acting range is astronomical.
This guy is no doubt a brilliant actor and an amazing person too❤️
Outstanding episode, all cast were bloody fantastic. This is so gritty
David "dark" Blair is a genius director, watching his work does something to you, you feel the story, what he wants to tell you through that story, to a point when you need time to get over it and be happy again! I just love it!!!
I knew there was something up with her. I was agreeing with him the whole time and thinking I was lowkey mad hahah
Robert is a phenomenal actor!!! I’ve loved everything he’s been in and he amazes me with every character he does.
What a writer Jimmy McGovern is. A true genius of a man. Superb acting from all the cast. Check out the street, which is again brilliant.
Robert is such a good actor!
She was evil all along. Scary!
AND a total bitch.
He acts with all his soul
The ending is intense and sad it gets me every time.
Means he was right and it wasnt all in his head
No, no, it's still not clear. The ending can be that brother and father got the same sick Stephen had. And in the next episode father of Stephen is alive and seems well. And the judge and the father act like the knew that Stephen was really mentally ill. The shitty behavior of stepmother was real but everything about poisoning is not. And things like dog killing or mom killing are not clear.
Ive just been watching them and the one with sean bean is brilliant!
It was so entertaing for me on a few different levels.
Sean beans acting was brilliant.
Yep amazing wasn't he, that episode with Sean Bean was brilliant!
@@lisaGSD Ahead of it's time in a way
This was so good!!! Rob is incredible :D
So many possibilities as to what actually went down . Beautifully written..
I had this comment prepared before I saw the ending scene. Could there be the slightest chance that the lad was right? There was something not quite right about the whole "moving in" thing soon after the mother had died. What woman in the right mind would do that to the kids in the family.
4 years later but I will answer in case other people are interested too. I have seen the next episode where Rob's character is presented too. His father seems well and we don't know anything about stepmother or brother. So it's probably just Stephen imagination. Shitty behavior was in real but no poisoning probably. And the ending scene is suuuuper suspicious. But even it can be tractated like: father and brother has got the sick from Stephen.
@@user-py2zo6eu5whow did you watch the next episode 😮😱.
Bothers me when people upload one episode 😮🙏 THANKS 😊
I was a schizophrenic adolescent, set fire to my school because of bullying, 28 months inside, tried to get me to Broadmoor, the bastards.
Be as proud as Dr Lecter bro. But be the meditating Lecter, not the killing one
@@johanneslam8594 Thanks. I have followed a less-sensational path since then, but no regrets.
This was filmed in parts of Stalybridge North Manchester and filmed at the bottom of my street in a house on Longridge avenue I seen Sheridan Smith and all the filming crews back in 2012 it was also filmed in a close by town called dukinfield near Ashton-under-Lyne not a bad series! I've lived on both estates where this was filmed where it shows scenes of the flats on central estate 😎
That woman wasn't very caring really, considering she is a nurse.
I could see this all coming.
Also very controlling....I don't think I would have got along with her either.
Great story & acting.
CLEARLY you're a Yankee.
Everyone knows who Sheridan Smith is 🥵🤬💯😎😂🤣
Disappointed this had an ambigious ending, which took away from the power of the message. It didn't need that cheap ending. Either this was a powerful drama about schizophrenia or it wasn't.
great cast,sad story
This clip has to been made over in and around UK .
Really enjoyed this, love that music at 57.32 near the end ,anybody know what it is?
Heartbreaking
He was right all along lol
Random upload of yours but Ill give it a chance :D
I’m so confused I came from the one before this since it was left on a cliff hanger and this is a complete different story line
Isobel none of them are the same every episode has its own story line
Devixony x I think they got that
TerrorZ T don't get loud I was is saying coz some ppl didn't
It used to be that they would refer to anything that was one story broken into weekly parts a serial, and a set of stand-alone episodes as a series, now they don’t distinguish between the two. As for leaving it in the air, they didn’t really, she’s a nutter and slowly killing father and son while trying to send Steve nuts. Maybe he should have given her one and got it out of his system, but she was psycho.
The next one with Steven in is heartbreaking 😪
What the hellllllll 😐🧐😕 she really was killing them 😠😠😠😠😠🤬🤬🤬
Oh well i tried to warn them...
Anyone know how I can watch episode 4 of series 2 here in the U.S.? I found this and the other two episodes here on UA-cam but can’t find a full episode of Tina’s Story. What a great series. The new copycat version in the U.S. is ok but not as good. Nobody does crime like the Brits. Thank you for posting this.
John Bishop man... Holy cow man i've now seen him here and holy crap does he do an amazing job at this serious role. I bet he's gonna do SO WELL in Doctor Who! Hopefully he can bring a darker tone in series 13!
T H E D O G
I think he was correct, Blondie is evil. I think she did it.
Where can I watch the full series?
I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM
anyone knows where I can watch s2 e4?
It should be on UA-cam if not it's on Amazon prime
I didn’t know John Bishop & oh gosh, can’t think of her name now (the nurse) !!!!
sheridan smith
Where is part two? :(
No part two all stand alone episodes
Tina's story is when Steven is sentenced. Really sad tho.
WHERE CAN I WATCH EPISODE 4??????
Yes 4 n 5 missing.

could this character potentially have schizophrenia?
At least a psychosis, if caused by grief or drug induced.
Yes he did...
The dog knows!
Having watched the first season this isn’t as good . This acting excellent though
His scouse accent is decent and passable I’m some parts but I can tell he’s not from Liverpool
Prosecutor
ok
She was poisened or not?!
Yes
She wasn't poisoned. She was poisoning them.
John Bishop was good in this for a guy with no prior acting experience
He had been in Skins which I think was before this.
Didn't like the ending need a little bit more just a bit.
Steven story follows on to the next one when he is sentenced. Really sad tho.
I usually don't have any problem, but I can't understand half of what they're saying
😂 I understood every word very easily.
She's pure evil!
