Do you have a build video of your go pro stake you made out of pvc? That is an amazing idea I've never thought of, I take one handed fishing pics and this would up my game lol. Great videos
As bad as it sounds I didn't have a topwater with me... Doing a little fishing experiment for December that's why I didn't have one. Kinda wish I would have lol.
(Almeidas breakfast taco not a bad second option). Bro, thx for this great vid. BIB is my favorite area. Looks like the water dropped out 2 feet since I was there in November.
Yeah I do. It’s a polar pro filter kit. And I’m not sure honestly. I find the fish first then fly the drone. I don’t use the drone to find fish. It’s kinda hard to see fish on my phone screen with the glare from the sun in the middle of the day.
Great channel! I fished this past Friday at Ransom Island in AP. The weather was a little rough but managed to pick up two solid slot reds with my corky..
What software are you using? And don’t worry it takes time. Some of my first videos aren’t very good lol. Just watch a ton of UA-cam videos on editing with the software and keep practicing.
@@StixHD I’m using Davinci Resolve, I did a bunch of research and an overwhelming amount of people said it was good software. For me, getting the footage isn’t the issue 😂 it’s the editing portion that’s my achilles heel!!!
@@oscarmedina-saltwatersanit4152 I’ve never used that one. Yeah just start off with the basics just cutting clips, putting them together and making the video flow good. You don’t have to do anything extra when you start. As you learn you can try new things as you go.
@@StixHD yea bro, I thinks that’s one of my problems lmao I’m tryna do too much. Need to crawl before I walk. So lemme ask you this, what’s the average time it takes you to edit one of your videos?
Hey bro , quick question, i really like start in cold weather with a downsouth lure as a search bait, and i use a castaway medium light with a fast tip. In your opinion do you think that rod is too light to work a corky?
Not sure man I've never had a castaway. I know a lot of rod companies medium light rods are different from one another. I would try it for a couple casts and if the rod feels like a noodle then I probably wouldn't throw it. lol
I like it because you can be way more stealthier. Its crazy how much more fish I have caught wading than from the skiff. I also don't have a trolling motor on my skiff so I just get tired of paddling it around also because my outboard will scare the fish. Wade fishing just makes it easier for me. I've been trying to target a big trout and almost everyone I know who consistently catches big trout in Texas wade fishes.
Good stuff man. That flat is on my list to branch out and explore. It's been a little of a grind down there since this real winter weather settled in. Killer drone footage!
Yeah a boat pulled up on the other side of that flat so I guess I was thinking the same way they were. Not sure if they caught anything. Next time I’ll venture out a little more and maybe explore the king ranch shoreline 👀
Bob and high cotton is the ultimate
That drone footage was fantastic!
Whataburger cup with another appearance!
Hell yeah! It's part of the ritual.
@@StixHD I see that....I’m Going to have to trade my #5 after fishing for a sausage BOB before fishing.
Another banger!🎣💯
Thanks man!!!

Nah man I don't. Its basic lol. It's just 1" PVC with a cross and a go pro mount. It gets some really good pictures/videos
NICE BROTHER 👌
Thank you!!!
@@StixHD I'm going Sunday to Aransas Pass, any suggestions??
@@angelnavejar2622 haven’t fished there in a while. What type of fishing?
@@StixHD Looking for specs& flounders, gonna be using corkys& down south lures.Possibly some mullet too. Were do you suggest?
Gonna be wade fishing.
That's a great area. Nice video dude. The drone footage is great!
Yeah just need to keep going and learn it more!
@@StixHD It’s hard to give up those big fish in the back bay to go all the way down there LOL

Thank you so much! Trying to improve with every video!
I could just imagine how crazy the topwater action would have been with those reds

Good thing you didn't throw the DSL. I'm telling you the perch in the Laguna are on another level!
I know!!! You’re the reason I keep some Kwigglers in my skiff just in case haha.
@@StixHD pretty sure I caught a perch on a soft dine xl the other weekend.... its somethin else...

Do you have a polarized lens on the drone?
And about what altitude do you fly at to still be able to see fish?

You need to give Steve’s lures broken back corky’s a try
The broken back corky is making an appearance in the next video! 😎
Cool video. Corky's are killin' it. I'm officially on vacation so I'll be out there too. Maybe I'll run into you one of these days. ----------<

Lol just gotta find them! Most of the time when I see them like that they are on muddy shorelines or in the marsh.
