It would’ve been good if the announcer of the world martial arts tournament had been there, you know, the blond guy with the shades. He would’ve been saying the correct information. He and the reporter would’ve been arguing over what was correct and what isn’t. He knew it was Goku and the others who really beat Cell. He doesn’t really know how the Z fighters can do the things they do but he does know that it’s not a bunch of tricks like Mr. Satan says. It’s like since Mr. Satan is the world champion, everyone thinks he must be a wise guru as well. He’s actually all muscle and no brain. It’s also surprising that nobody recognizes any of the Z fighters from the past tournaments. They don’t recognize Vegeta considering a few years back the news was reporting him and Nappa battling the Z fighters.
