Twitter really is a double edged blade. People freak out that Dream doesn't address all the issues in his community- like he has control over what his fans do. But when he does address it- like he did today- everyone flips their shit and calls him an attention seeker.
it sucks because it happens literally every time for literally everything. if you dont address it you get hate for being “ignorant” and “inconsiderate” of what’s happening, and when you do address it you get hate because it’s either controversial and/or twitter is twitter. it hurts how accurate this comment is.
The world would be a better place if we had like the uno skip card but we use it on twitter users every time they wanna say something dumb.
Dream just wants to play minecraft with friends, Quackity wants to create a story that people can enjoy. They both want to bring communities from around the world together, and that shouldn't have backlash for the creators involved.

I just don't get why there needs to be beef. Stuff like this happens, and it's not like they weren't friends and can't talk it out when Quackity does respond to Dream's dms. The ideas for both of the servers feel very different and new, it just that it happened they both had something to do with including multiple languages and translators. At the end of the day, it's all just people trying to make something new and fun and bring people and communities together, no need for all the hate.
I feel like the only people who actually made it be a problem with the two smp's were the fans who started beefing with eachother. Dream and Quackity are both great and have done/will do amazing projects, if people really were fans of them they would support both at the same time.

Idk the whole reason this started to get heated was because quackity just hadn't acknowledged anything dream did. This fueled one side's hate because it did feel like a dick move, but for quackity's fans they all decided to make quackity's the "only" multilingual server. This could have been avoided if quackity had just said something to curb his fans like dream did, but because he never really addressed any of the problems qsmp had and ghosted a whole friendgroup, this happened. I miss when they were friends

He's not the only cc that does this, but if you're going to be the owner of a server and take credit for the things it achieves you have to be ready to address things directly. And dream mentioned how he isn't responding to anyone on dream's side. Idk imo it doesn't take that long to send out a quick tweet in support of your friend's thing, especially if it leads to your friend's family being in danger.
Honestly its too different servers in my opinion. QSMP seems more like chaotic fun and USMP seems like chill lets plays. In general, both seem cool and fun to watch.
Most simmilar thing outside being multilingual (which cmon, is no server allowed to be multlingual expect QSMP?) is live translations which judging by what Dream said was massive coincidence. He worked on his mod, wanted to share it with Quackity and it just happened Quackity had simmilar idea.

Q probably put so much work and passion into connecting the two communities he was apart of, and i can understand why he'd be mad that Dream is doing this so casually after this is basically everything he's worked for for a while. Not to discredit what dream did, and I'm not defending Q's lack of communication, but I understand why he's mad.

I feel like a lot of that isn't really from the servers and more from the general hate on dream. Since he face revealed and vlogged his house a few times now, it's become easier for stans who developed a hatred of him over the years to go after him now. I doubt the car tracker person left a note telling Dream USMP was a copycat to justify his actions.
I hope this drama and missunderstanding will soon come to an end, they both had great ideas! But people putting trackers on dreams family cars is just too much and all due to a game of cubes :/

I absolutely hate the idea of drama like this. Why can't the 2 servers co-exist. It doesn't matter who came first. They should just talk to each other and sort it out. Twitter comments were so toxic about this and saying horrible stuff. I just want to enjoy both SMPs, as I was planning to watch both. It saddens me that 2 of my fav content creators are having problems. I hope it gets sorted out soon.

but anyways, i think having 2 SMPS is a great idea, cuz not everyone can join QSMP, and not everyone can join USMP so you know, no ones left behind.
this is quite similar with Karmaland, dedsafio, tortillaland, elitecraft etc, multiple "series" in the hispanic community, some of them running at the same time.

I wish people would try to speak about things instead of jumping to conclusions. Can’t we all just get along? They both had originally come up with it on their own ideas and Quackity just wanted to have a cool little project, and Dream wanted to make the United Nations Minecraft edition
Quackity wanted to bring his two communities together, and Dream wanted to help people conquer the language barrier. Both wanted to bring people together but people are people and just… do unnecessary things.

I think it’s really fucking stupid the fact that the creators and fandoms are fighting about this. Both of these servers, are meant to make connections between different community’s who love and play Minecraft, and now these two fandoms are fighting with eachother and not actually making connections. It sucks especially since it’s fucking Minecraft.
Oh god I hope this ends well between Q and Dream! I absolutely adore Q and I like Dream and I love their friendship! I hope Quackity responds soon so that they can resolve everything and hopefully still be great friends :( I really hope something as dumb as this doesn't ruins things between them
Well as Quackity said on his QSMP announcement, talking about the creators interacting, it showed the desire to communicate even without a mod, that "if people want to communicate they will." Probably safe to infer he doesn't want to communicate with Dream right now for whatever reason, whether it's about the servers or something else.
I think Karl has left the dtqk+ team too since he talked abt it once that he hates ppl who address private disagreement with other cc online instead of resolving it privately. That's exactly what dream did. 💀 they're done forever now. .

Ngl I don't have a strong opinion but I feel that even if Quackity had communication problems he should have tried(and if he did then try even or use different ways) to communicate with dream so all the drama could have been avoided and I feel very sad that the formats of USMP is gonna change because of its similarities to QSMP.

I hope Dream stressing the seriousness of the situation prompts q to reach out to him and settle this privately. I understand Q probably wants to avoid drama, but if it’s gotten to the point of people putting trackers on dreams family’s cars over a Minecraft server, it has gone too far, and quackity needs to let his fans know he disapproves of the harassment and there’s no bad blood.
I think you need to understand quackity cannot control his fans. @@GameMasterDuelist I believe you are misinterpreting the situation. The issue is that quackity is not telling his fans to back off, whereas Dream has said to several times, as he has in the past. I doubt it will stop the truly crazy people, but it would help alleviate some of the animosity between the two fanbases.

Dream had the idea but just didn't wanted to feel like he's mocking someone else's project that's why he created that thread but quackity didn't care. And quackity's smp so far can't get any less entertaining.

Yes, but this is disastrous. I can get complete dissociation from Dream, but, he has not had any response before now and let the situation worsen. Even just a little bit of clarity, whould have done so much for the mounting hatred between the communities, It is getting ridiculous and that Quackity has seemingly done nothing to help it is a major fault.

However, if we’re going solely by what Dream is saying right now (which is the only perspective we have currently) then it makes it seem like Quackity is just randomly cutting off one of his friends for no reason. Like, at least give a public statement or reason, you know? On the other hand, it’s exam period and Quackity’s in law school; he’s probably just busy

I swear, this is so stupid, if anything, I bet the mods for the translations were probably made with each other, they are friends and it is just a block game, We need to remember that Quackity's server is almost like an adventure server following a story with method acting and depending on mostly mods while if I were to guess, Dream's server is probably just not that, they may use a similar system and idea but the servers are their own special thing and have their own reason for existing, Quackity wanted to bring together the two communities he acted as a bridge for, passing between and having fun while Dream wanted to make a server, likely similar to the DSMP, that was open to everyone and less restricting due to not everyone being able to talk, at the core, they both want the same thing, people to come together and make content easier and people fighting others is almost exactly what they don't want!

Looking at what Quackity has said in all his streams about the QSMP: He said people trying to bridge language barriers, with or without the mod, was good and something to be admired not punished. He said today that debuting the SMP without the mod showed how people WANTED to communicate and made a social experiment, and the mod helped them bridge the gap. He's spoken in positive terms of trying to bring communities together and do good things. It really seems like he would not hold any resentment towards Dream for having the same idea. Maybe he's a little hurt Dream didn't come to him first, being a close bilingual friend and all. But like, all his speeches on the topic of bringing people together across languages have been so positive that I can't imagine he would reject the idea of the usmp.
Unfortunately, a lot of fandom is too dense to draw those conclusions unless their faves spell out in explicit terms to them that no, there is no beef and yes, we are ok with each other and yes, using a similar mod doesn't mean we're competitors we are trying to bring communities together. Being very clear and telling them not to start hate campaigns is a sad but often necessary thing that people have to do. Quackity didn't want to detract from his happy announcement today about new creators, I imagine he will take time to process a careful and thoughtful response. Maybe after Sunday's event.

Quackity may not want to talk in private to Dream, or in Public to the audience, but skipping on both is a bad look for sure.
it's possible that quackity didn't want the drama to go any further. we are not owed anything, neither is dream. dream is the one dragging the whole thing to public as he didn't respond once. he isn't owed a response. dream blew the whole thing out of the water. this should have been sorted via dream waiting for a response or a private call if need be not a public post.

I don't know, but when this started I remember seeing that the Qsmp was announced and dream in his private account wrote that he was working on a similar project, like warning beforehand so they wouldn't think he had copied himself. After that, many fans (quackity's fans) said that instead, he could have just congratulated him first and then said about his project. Since then, dream would mention things about Qsmp some times and many fans would get mad at him until it escalated what we see now hahahaha. I know dream can comment whatever he wants and I know it sounds like I'm saying this started by dream, right? From my perspective yes, but I don't have the absolute truth! Btw, I need to say this. One thing that caught my attention from dream's thread is that he mentions that since quackity didn't reply to his messages, he assumed that Qsmp members couldn't participate in the Usmp(? and I didn't like that on his part. Members of Qsmp have a lot of freedom, they can log in whenever they want at whatever times they want and be there with no restrictions and some of them like Vegetta, have their own projects while on Qsmp. I mean, there are more creators but why dream is focusing on those in Qsmp? And yes, I know he knows several members who could be in Usmp, but I still think it's a bad comment to insinuate that they can't be in Usmp, I mean, Quackity didn't want to talk to him, ok his fault, but don't assert something you don't know... Anyway, sorry but this has all been entertaining for me and I'm just saying my thoughts even if I'm wrong hahaha

Dream made the post to try to have communities stop fighting, you can see that the post wasn't made with malicious intent towards Quackity. Quackity didn't respond to the growing flames of anger and hate and doxxing therefore Dream had to address the community that he had no hard feelings towards Quackity. Unfortunately twitter being twitter, took it as a way to argue even more.
Bro having multiple languages on a bunch of servers was like the whole point of the mod. So that anyone who speaks any language can play together.
I hate this kind of drama and bunch of ppl assuming things not giving it a time. Where is the patience bruh? Calm down whoever loves to jump into conclusions......
about the qsmp and usmp concept It's not that unexpected concept really , it just something that everyone may have thought of, just not doing. During the time when both of them want to look for the concept to creating their new content. It's not strange to bring the same Thing that people want but no one has done yet to make their own content.

Quackity wants to make a community for people around the world: Adds some of his friends and other Spanish, french and Brazilian players.
They are both young for one and both learning and have room to grow. So I’m not really gonna hate on either one. Because all we have are tweets. That’s it. To create such drama and anger surrounding something we actually have no idea what’s going on in either of there lives or what quackitys thoughts are or dreams. I think dream is making it public because he can’t wait for quackity any longer he’s impatient and he has adhd so as someone with adhd too, some things seem overly urgent and emotions are kind of wacko. So he needs to be more careful with what he says because he such an influential person. And quackity may or may not be purposefully ignoring him don’t know. But I imagine quackitys silence has dream on edge leading him to post to twitter about it like that.
i’m not really following either creator at the moment, but seeing two creators who used to be close friends not even talking to each other to settle things does make me a bit sad. i’m glad quackity’s doing well with his server though, and i wonder if he does have an ulterior motive to stop talking to dream

The funny thing is, is that Quackity hasn’t even said anything. His SMP is doing fine, and I don’t like being rude, but he doesn’t need dream. He’s got a lot on his plate and is super successful at the moment. To me, the usmp seems like a last attempt at a minecraft server for dream and some friends.

No one is saying he needs Dream, but they are (or were) friends, and all this animosity between their fans is just increasing. It’s very strange that q would just randomly cut off friends like that, so I hope there’s an explanation and they can settle it soon. Hopefully Dream stressing the seriousness of the situation can lead to q finally responding

@@nicolesiol Dude Q was big before dream, he wouldn't have had literal severs shut down with the size if his raids if he wasn't. Also while it is the more professional response to just deal with dream in priv dm's I also think that we need to remember that there have been several really bad allegations about dream in the last bit. Now i can't say an opinion either way on the allegations as I haven't kept up to date on it, if Q believed them then it's understandable why he wouldn't want to speak to someone who he views as having done a crime. I'd also point out that the people stalking dream and putting trackers on his car are more likely to be HIS fans than Q's. I've seen several content creators recently talking about IRL stalking from their 'fans'.

Im a big fan of dream and not used to have a really good option on quakity but this situation changed my options on both of them. Let me tell u why......
Im watching qsmp from the day it started and im pretty much watching all of the english speaking creators perspectives too. Im watching badboyhalo' s stream, philza's s stream, foolish's stream, jaden animation 's stream, slimecicle's stream, wilbour's stream and some times quakitie's steam even if he speaks in spanish some times. Because of this i noticed that quackity had this thought of creating bilingual multi survival since he was playing in dream smp and he is telling everyone that he wants to create this multi language Minecraft server. That got me thinking that he was very inspired by dream smp Because that server brought people together. At the end of the dream smp everyone in the server pretty much became friends with every one and he wanted to saw this magic happen on his community. He wants to bring spanish speaking people and english speaking people together first but that seed evolved into bringing multi language people together. At the time quackity got this idea i dont think dream even had an idea like this let alone create an another smp server for his audience. At the time dream only thinking about his current smp at the time and wanted to make better smp for his fans. So i dont think dream has this idea of creating a multi language server on mc first and i genuinely dont think he didnt know about the Qsmp untill quackity announced it on his twitter. Even though dream announced his server first but i think its quackity's idea first and he did worked hard behind the screen upuntill he lunched his server on march . If its all a weired coincidence ( which is not in my opinion) thats fine. But what if its not a coincidence and dream did all of this just because he got jealous on quackity because quackity's idea is a revolution not only that if its all worked out as he expected quackity is going to be praised by everyone and his server is going to be the first multi language server on mc. The reason im saying may be dream got jealous because he is trying soooo hard to make people to belive in his long long twitter twits saying "im shocked when quackity announced his server" and "im trying to reaching out to him but he is not responding to me" implying that quackity has some thing to hide or he did some thing wrong. Dreams attitude in his twitter twits speaks volums . If my assumption is true then there is definitely some thing wrong with dream and his thinking.....

It’s mostly the outside forces (meaning Stan’s) that trying to separate ccs like they are parents or something. If they just piped down and didn’t have to dox then everything would be fine.

I haven’t heard about USMP until now. I have a feeling Quackitys started his server first since this was 4 months ago, while Quackitys was 5 months ago. Idk why I haven’t heard about USMP now but this is something I need to research on

I read this earlier today and I find it sad.. I was going to reply to the post but I figured no one would care... From the start of everything, I knew it was, like you said, just content. The idea came to both of them and there's nothing wrong with that. I think both creators are incredibly talented and they would both have a talent to share on their own SMPs. I see people as being way to dramatic about the whole situation. I get wanting to support and defend a creator you love, but threatening one's life because a Minecraft server is just dumb. Everyone will have overlapping ideas, and I love that Dream keeps trying to be respectful and change the idea so he doesn't intrude on Quackity, however, it's just a server. A great example is in the art community, you see multiple drawings of the same photo, yet they're all different. Same with this server idea. There's no way Dream's server will be an exact copy of Quackity's - I mean Quackity has eggs on his server - I don't see Dream having a baby egg - even if he does, those eggs will have different personalities and names. I guess I'm saying that being mad at either creator is quite stupid as it's accomplishing quite literally nothing.. I think supporting your favorite creator is incredible, and everyone should, but do it in a positive manner. I think they (Quackity and Dream) should do their servers, and I think no one should battle about it. I think after Dream's essay, my respect for Quackity has gone down a bit as Quackity keeps ignoring Dream when Dream is just trying to work things out - but I don't hate either of them.

there's still allegations in the air and drama surrounding Dream, so it is highly unlikely that all these threats and irl stalkers are coming from the qsmp community lmfao.. especially seeing this is the first time ive heard about "USMP" and could care less about the similarities. I think also it is very possible that quackity isn't responding to anything related to the USMP and Dream because of these allegations and the situation surrounding the allegations that was never fully cleared. Why else do you think Dream smp season 2 was canceled??
Allegations came out months ago they stopped talked a few weeks ago timing doesn't line up there
Season 2 was cancelled because the plans for it were made before techno passed. After season 1 ended, communication was stilted from everyone in the server and they couldn't come to an agreement on how to treat it. The qsmp community is made mostly of quackity solos, who are all drantis. The hate dream gets is genuinely so astronomical, for example people were shitting on him for the translation mod until quackity announced his the very next day. And, as was said earlier, quackity only stopped speaking to dream when they started to work on the servers. This is easily provable as they're both very friendly with each other during squidcraft. The threats/stalkers may or may not have come from the qsmp community, but you can't deny the drama has given them a platform to justify doing such terrible shit.

Even last night there was 2000 of quackitys fans in a space listening to someone read off his address and discuss how they’re going to kill him. Denying it’s his community is silly

I kinda feel bad for Quackity, I mean it makes sense that dream was able to pick up on warning signs early, hes been doing this for a while now and he seems to be able to tell when things start to get a little problematic. Quackity, regardless of who idea it was first, did get Qsmp up and running quickly and already quite a lot has happen on the sever. So I think (not saying I know whats going on with Quackity at all this is my idea of why he was having a lack of communication) that he must have had a lot of hate from people, people who are down right assholes and don't want something like Qsmp or Usmp to be a thing. And while I'm sure Quackity knew there would be backlash, I'm sure it must be very hard doing something so good and getting people telling you its horrible. Same for dream! I'm sure that before this drama dream had his own drama with people being hateful at the idea of Usmp. Because "oh no people who don't look like other people or act like other people are getting along with each other its horrible!" I'm European so I can't really say I know what its like, but I have some asshole family members who are really only family by name with how they act, so I feel really bad when I see content creators do this and get treated bad.
