Obviously the house is a total loss, however they could have shown a little hustle and put additional master streams and ground monitors in service. Looked like the ladder pipe was missing the building a lot too.
I use to live in Worcester and I don't recall a fire this bad in Newton, I also use to live in Waltham , these homes in Newton are no cheaper then 500k, this looks to be a million dollar home. Someone in the video said the cause if it is true, those EVs should never be left unattended
EV’s are despised by most firefighters. On several channels, firefighters have expressed frustration of trying to save a dwelling, not unlike this once beautiful home, all because an EV spontaneously combusted in its garage. I’m thankful no one was home, nor were any firefighters seriously injured. Imho, EV’s are not safe.
The pink flames (unless it's the lighting) indicate lithium chloride. Not flammable in of itself, although it could be an ingredient in something that is. Not sure what.
Pull video, what you pisted belongs to a broadcaster, I will be contacting himm, I grow tired of video thiefs who steal from others. This is why there are rules for posting.
This house was 5,600 square feet and was built in 1890, valued at 4.2 million . They were on vacation at the time of the fire
When the fire service can finally figure out how to get water flowing sooner, the better off the citizens would be. It is frankly, appalling.
Damn I've been a fireman for 14 14 years and never seen a house burn that bad
I always like seeing a quick knock down...
I felt the heat through my computer.

I've never seen a fire this bad
At this point the best thing is let it burn to the ground. The demolition and clean up is easier and less expensive.
Where is the water
Any more info on the cause. Looks suspect to me.
Food on the stove?
Too much fire too soon.
How did it start? The intensity seems suspicious.

So does potassium chloride or polyvinyl chloride, which is often used in plastic siding.
@@bobvidoni5898 Maybe that's what the pink was from.

Pretty sure the owner of the video is also the `poster` of the video.
