    This fire displaced a family with 4 children under the age of 15, an army veteran with service in both Iraq and Afghanistan and his wife, a Marine corps veteran with service in Africa who is currently suffering from a rare disease which has left him nearly blind, and the younger sister to the veterans; its her car that's burning in the driveway. Thank God those guys know how to fight a fire, cuz it could have been much worse.

    Glad that everyone was able to get out in time, and hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident.
    Yeah that garage was really cooking, and having water issues is always a problem. ( having been on a small town volunteer firefighter company) it
    it's always a concern.
    Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.

    I am a firefighter of 21 years. These guys did a great job with the resources they had. These nitwits commenting about water know absolutely nothing about firefighting. Or what is even happening on this fireground. People should not comment on things they know nothing about. Comical. Again great stop brothers.

    Great video! Thank goodness the family got out safely, and no firefighters were injured. God bless all firefighters and first-responders….y’all have the unenviable task of jumping out of a warm-bed into a burning structure! Please stay safe and warm.

    Wtf….the people of Mendon should be thankful that there are volunteers willing to to get out of a warm bed…trek out in freezing temperatures…. And try to save their home and lives! People complaint about 5 minutes to get water…. Are you kidding me??? This is in the middle of nowhere…. Just say thank you to all involved they did great!

      "get out of a warm bed…trek out in freezing temperatures…. And try to save their home and lives!" Try What? Stand around like lawn statues while they watch the house burn down?

    And this is why an attached garage is not a good idea.

    Wouldn't want a running fuel fire to start flowing down that driveway under their aerial now would we??

      How about put the car and garage fire out so the house doesn't catch on fire? You need to get your priorities straight.

      @@DavidGlaum Every piece of equipment should have at least 500 gallons of onboard water. That fire would have taken half of ONE tank.

    This is breathtakingly unbelievable. Why didn't the fire department show up? Who are these clowns? The fire in the garage and car are threatening the unburned house. Could they move any slower? I wonder if the camera could have kept up with them had this been the Chiefs house.

    Do they have to ask for permission to use the hose why it take so long to put wet stuff on the hot stuff smh I pray everyone got out safe

      Water issues. May not be a hydrant (why they called for tanker trucks), most trucks only carry around 500 gallons, the ladder around 250 gallons. Use the water up really quick and then what. House wasn't blazing.

    • @russellbonvie4333
      @russellbonvie4333 9 місяців тому

      This town should stick to washing the trucks and leave the real job to some one else what a bunch of idiots

    • @mikehoysler4322
      @mikehoysler4322 8 місяців тому +1

      Maybe try reading the description of the video BEFORE commenting. The house is in a no hydrant area hence the need for tankers. It’s better to be thought a fool than open your moth and remove any doubt.
