I've been trying to find Danielson vs Gibson online for years. I used to have a DVD called "Stars of Honor" that had it, but my nephew lost that one more than five years ago. You know James was in heaven working a guy like Bryan. Similar build, both technical wizards. James was trained by Dean Malenko, Bryan's admitted "number one guy, growing up", Bryan tried to get into Malenko's school but it had closed down. James was always solid and entertaining in WWE, but you know this is the wrestling he loves and lives for. No matter how short the reign, great move by Ring of Honor for making him their champion. I'm sure it meant the world to him.
Couldn't agree more. If there is footage of Mr. Gibson winning the Championship, I would love to find it. There use to be a tag match on yt from NOAH ( I think ) with Gibson and Danielson vs. one of the Tiger Masks and someone I cannot recall...was a while ago.
These 18th anniversary videos have been amazing!!!! I forgot how badass ROH is. I've been watching for about a decade and I haven't been disappointed. Thank you!
33:27 Man oh man this match was awesome live! I was star struck meeting Lance Storm that night in one of the absolute best shows in ROH history. And certainly among the tippitty top best I have ever attended
A man name sean introduce me to roh in New York city in the early 2000 in recreation center. He was da best and I say thank you for bringing in those dvds or tapes. I looked forward to every Saturday back then. Hope you're doin well sean
Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like it isn’t talked about enough. That’s one of my favorite matches ever. I wish storm would’ve stuck around and done some more matches (before 2012) , especially with the roster in 06. I love that match a lot though
@@greatestbrand5191 I agree. Storm was always known as a "serious" wrestler, but then WWE only gave him five minute matches. This is one of the few times we got a decent match to see his stamina, strength and ability. I feel robbed because we never got to see Storm vs Gibson, Malenko, etc. Even when they had him wrestler Saturn, the match was over too quick.

Nigel may not was the best wrestler alive during his carrer but he always did something to not forget in that ring,He gave his very best every single time and you gotta respect him for that.
I live near the Liverpool Olympia and it's sad to see what's happened to the venue. This McGuinness/Danielson match is one of my favourites ever. I sometimes play 'Final Countdown' if I'm passing the Olympia.
it's great to finally see the Brian Danielson vs Gibson match. in WWE Gibson was always seen as a comedy guy... but he was a good wrestler.... also nice to see the announcers mention WWE.... Unlike Vince who for years never mentioned other promotions unless it suited him.
@@marijuanamack420 Lololol you're the one who doesn't know who's talking about, if you think that WWE didn't restricted most of his moves to fit in their PG Nickelodeon B.S. tv programming. Bryan Danielson The American Dragon > WWE neutered Daniel Bryans.
This is when you realise just how good Lance Storm is. He was never really given the right environment with the right type of opponents to wrestle like this during the majority of his career. If somewhere like ROH existed earlier he would have been a top star
His title reign was short because he was leaving Ring of Honor for WWE and I am quite happy that he dropped the championship to one of the best Ring of Honor champion of all time Bryan Danielson
59:51 Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness at Unified 2006
*YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!*
Awesome! It's always great when those two were in the ring against each other.
One of the greatest wrestling matches EVER!!

I was a huge Lance Storm fan, so that match was what really got me into ROH.

That Bryan-Nigel match was fantastic. Nigel in ROH definitely is one of my favourites of all time.
I will never be able to hear Europe's Final Countdown without thinking of The American Dragon
When I think 🤔 of Ring Of Honor, I honestly think Bryan Danielson!
I never watched a whole lot but I think him, punk, low ki and chris Daniels
Him or the falling angel or jay
Upload some of the greatest Low Ki matches then please
59:50 My favorite match in ROH history. The chemistry Bryan and Nigel have in the ring is indescribable.
Match 1 - vs. James Gibson
Match 2 - vs. Lance Storm
Match 3 - vs. Nigel Mcguinness
That Nigel match is sick I’ve never seen anything like it ever
Lance Storm is the most underrated wrestler of all time
Cesaro/Claudio is up there, as well as Generico.
When it comes to Bryan Danielson, some things never change
Danielson vs. McGuinness is the best match of ROH history.
One of the best wrestlers on the planet. , wwe don't deserve him.
Oh the company paying millions of dollars and also met his wife.
This is my first time watching the Nigel v. Danielson match and holy shit that ending had me actin like I was there with them

Nobody was the best wrestler alive as long as Bryan Danielson was wrestling
Is there any chance we get the 5 start match between CM Punk and Samoa Joe?
Storm vs Danielson is possiable the Best Match I have ever watched. Both men working so hard. Top Notch Wrestling. :)

Best in the World, Best in the World Best in the World - The American Dragon Bryan Danielson!
You called
Cm punk got nothing on bryan
"I have until 5!"
The unification match is the best match of Danielson and McGuinness's careers. The ending of the match is just so awesome.

Wow you guys just uploaded these for free? Ok thanks for being awesome ROH
The first two matches were full of technical aptitude but oh man, vs Nigel was a brutal and psychological carnage.
3 of my favorite matches of all time!!!!
Please do Roderick strong next!! Or nigel
Where's the three awesome amazing Red Matches?
Amazing wrestling from all the gentlemen!
Oh, man, I can't wait for Punk and Danielson in AEW. I hope you guys develop a working relationship with them!!!
Good news for you Tony Khan just bought ROH's library
👏👏👏👏🤘 Daniel Bryan
Wow I can't believe Bryan has concussion issues
This was my favourite era for the dragon...in his prime. To be fair the-same could be said for Nigel. 2 of ROH’ s greatest
1:23:29 wtf? he actually banged his head onto the post
Yes
Yep. One of, if not the dumbest thing I've ever seen a wrestler do in a match.
No ‘sports entertainment’. Wrestling. This. Is. Wrestling!
Best Match Ever
I would never expect James Gibson is Jamie Noble
I was just thinking before I saw your comment,"Is that Jamie Noble?!"
The American Dragon over the WWE version any day.
