A friend of mine paid $800 for an Indian Scout a guy rode on logging roads his whole life. It turned out to be an unfortunately altered 648 Scout. It is unknown to the motorcycling world that another one is out there on the road, so I thought I would share.
Hey Dale, Matt. I hooked up with you guys on the first Cannonball run, which was a blast by the way, and rode along on my ol' 47 rat Knucklehead from Greenville to Maggie Valley where I had to turn back just because I had not set aside the time to ride the whole way and man how I wish I had cuz I had so much fun and met some of the best people and had such a blast I felt like I was gonna bust open! Like trying to stuff 11 pounds of fun into a ten pound bag! But here is my question for ya, I am in Raleigh and I don't know if this is the best place to ask but here ya go, I have a couple of old Harleys, my Knuckle, Pan, Flathead but now and especially as I ain;t getting any younger I am keeping my eyes open for an old Indian, Chief, Scout, or 4 but just something rough that I can pick up for half decent and like all my other bikes put in the sweat equity so I can have a half decent little bike to round out my little collection. I ain't a rich man like so many of us except for Jay Leno,(must be nice), and so have always had to buy this way and then thru friends of these past 50 years and the ol' sweat build me a little something to putt around on. And I guess I am asking here because I have noticed that it seems like a lot of guys are selling barn finds thru UA-cam. I am hoping you can help me to figure out how best to use UA-cam as I am not that computer savvy and I figure there must be some way of getting linked in to the listing of old Indians as they appear here. So anyway there you have it and I hope I am not putting you too much out there in asking for your help with this but I keep seeing you guys popping up here and so I thought I would ask. Thanks in advance for any and all advise you can give me, Knucklehead George BTW, enjoy your show on the Velocity Channel, always interesting to see what you guys are able to dig up.
Its amazing that that bike fired after 100 years without replacing even one part. But they could ruin it if they try to race it without going through it.
Why aren't there any full shows here? Is this youtube account supported by the official Velocity Channel? I do subscribe to the Velocity channel through my cable company, but feel that if I am paying for it, then I should be able to watch any shows I missed at a time that is available for me. I don't do DVR. Is there a solution to this that I am not aware of? Thanks in advance.
I have known them both for most of my life... way to go guys and keep them coming! Maybe one day soon I will make it back to the museum to visit.
DALE is a MASTER at this craft!!!
Nice sound, amazing it still runs you'd think it was a Honda. Loved the getting the tyre off bit, great!
When that engine turned over for the first time in several decades...
Wow that sound -
"Music to my ears"😉
Dale was a storehouse of knowledge and a nice man

the only reason i clicked on it was just b/c i wanted to see the 100 year old indian man. with cool antiques.
Old Indians never die!
They could've ridden on those tires as hard rubber tires.
testament to the engineering and quality of a product made well before the age of computer aids.
What a tease make longer videos especially when they are working on old bikes I wish I was there helping them........👍🏻🇺🇸
Yeah, me too. I got excited.
What's wrong with the original tires? I would've ridden on those. ;)
Unbelivable.Fantastic.
what where tires inflated with back in those days ? or where they just solid all the way thru ?
Amazing! id love to have that bike!
William Regal Spittin'Fire...Lol
DAMMIT MAN!! I really miss "What's In The Barn".
A lot of people want to see the Pope I would have loved to met Dale and learned and watched him work on bikes that what I like 😊

Sweet ride
Is What's in the barn still on the air? Any new episodes in the future?
1912 Indian, all original and it runs. what I would give to make a find like that ....
That's amazing, I don't much about Indians, but I wonder how hard it was for them to find tires...hmm.

How Cool 😎!
ikr is this a mess up?
101 now.... =D
Maybe its like a "Where's Waldo".
no i did to
Wow its no longer original new tires
I do wish this programme wasn't scripted in it's entirety , it would be 100% better .
Damnest tire change I ever saw
God dammit! Where's my old ass India indian man with my life wisdom!!!!
MISLEADING TITLE
The short clips are annoying. Cant the full episodes just be uploaded?
I thought it was gonna be some old native asking whats in his barn.....
where is the Indian guy?
i thought the same thing
I thought this was going to be a farmer finding a indian in his barn
First thing that came to my mind "What??? Indians don't live to 100 but then I thought my grandma is 93 Goddamn thats close enough"
I LIKE IT FROM JUNIOR RAMOS
I would've ridden it with the old tires.
Impossible
Kewl.
Why do the "interview" portions of "reality" shows always sound like they are scripted?
Yeah, I was totally faked-out too, so don't feel bad, bro!
no i did to.
am i the only one that thought they were talking about a 100 year old man?
i thought this would be like a comedy or miny movie
Hahahahahl..... me too. Thought we were going to learn ancient knowledge of life.
no
I thought it was a fossilized indian / laughs on me
lmfao
You got excited over a 100 year old man? That's a little kinky.
Misleading title... thought it was an actual indian who had been alive for... you know what... im sure other people were mislead...
this title is very misleading
o_O
Gross.
