Impressive display of medieval colour my friend ! One of my favourites for variety of kit , I think the helmets are some of the most imposing of the medieval period along with the surcoats and hearaldry.. This was my favourite period when re-enacting... I really should have more figures for this period !
Thank you dear Ray! I have to say although love the Early HYW armour i think these Barons period helms are amazing! Also in general i think that in this period the combination of different ''material'' this variety that you can find also on the same mini like for example cloth barding - chainmail a small pieces of plate here and there (mostly in the second Barons war) padded jackets , leather coats etc. make the miniatures look really good and fun to paint. Thank you for watching my friend!
A wonderful collection Nik ❤ and I was attracted to this part of history in wargaming due to the color and individual insignia and hobby opportunities. I still have no time to paint my own models for BW but I always enjoy watching your videos mate. Cheers
Thank you dear Joshua! Yes time is difficult to find especially when you are with the family. I agree color and all these wonderful banners are the characteristics i love in the medieval armies especially HYW and Barons War. Thank you for watching my friend!
Thank you dear Mark! Yes that was one of the reasons i focused in the HYW and lately the Barons war all these Banners the colorful Coat of arms that deployed all in mass look amazing. Thank you for watching my friend!
Very impressive job, Nik. But you seem to be over involved in your new project. :)) I wish you did not forget your wonderful battle reports with your old miniatures on other periods either. Good luck.
hahahaha thank you my friend glad you enjoyed the showcase! Unfortunately there are practical reasons i cant unbox my HYW minis here and why i can only currently focus in showcases (As you know i love battle reports). I am still not certain i will stay in this city there is a big possibility i will move to another location in September to take over another big project and as this new flat i moved does not have either a table to play or enough storage space i have to purchase both ( i am doing all these showcases on a coffee table lol ) i have to wait for a couple of months to know what is the status...as soon as i know i am staying or when i move to the new permanent location you will see all of them again and many more battles. Thank you for watching my friend!
@@MedievalWargamer it's great that under the circumstances you still continue your blog. And yet I am missing your battle reports. Hope the time of uncertainty will end in your life soon. Best regards, my friend.
Very true my friend it needs patience and commitment and all can manage large armies! Not yes my son is still 5 year old so we will see in the future.. regardless either he will have this huge collection to play and enjoy or he will have beautiful armies to sell and make money.. hahahah
A beautiful array of heraldry
Thank you my friend! Yes i believe so too very beautiful with their colors and individual Coat of arms. Thank you for watching!
I´m totally with you. The colours of the medieval era are great and every knight looks like a hero, because of his colours.
Exactly dear Christoph and the main reason i love the period and why these armies look amazing on a table. Thank you for watching my friend!
Spectacular and superb cavalry, very pleasant to watch...and obviously to paint! Nice one Nik!👍👍
Thank you dear Phil!!
