Freddie and Montserrat, two beautiful souls that complemented each other so charmingly and gave us this wonderful music. This collaboration was the musical work he was the most proud of.

Absolutely love Mike Moran’s description as to how Barcelona came about. Freddie a legend but Mike so important in the creation of this song with Freddie and Montserrat.
Even though Freddie was not around, Mike still shows his respect and fondness of Freddie everytime he talks about him. The mutual admiration was there you can just tell it. If Freddie were still around, we probably would have seen more collaborations between these two talents.
Massive respect to you Mike Moran, we all love Freddie and you were a true friend to him. Bless you sir, the savage ache of losing Freddie never leaves, but seeing and hearing the friends of Freddie talk about him helps a little, thank you.

So the intention was to do a 2nd FM solo album but it got put aside to do the ‘Barcelona’ album instead. And it’s now clear it was hard project to do. Interesting insights, love it.
