- In 2017 I took a tour with my friend Beth Jennings who is a professional photographer. I had a tour group. We travelled to Palermo, went to Cefalu, Agrigento,
Castelbuono, Favara.
We visited a 5 generation shepherd and spent the day with Giacinto making cheese, drinking wine and eating salami and all the delicious foods he made for us.
We had a cooking class with Mario Pucci who is my friend. We also went to Erice, in Trapani, we spent the afternoon with Maria Grammatico who is the Queen of Sicilian pastry.
In this video I share with Beth my feelings about coming home and what Palermo means to me.

thank you for such a wonderful moment in life, where we got to spend it together and enjoy the beauty of Sicily, I will treasure these moments in my heart, and hope that soon I will go back home for a few months.

I needed to do some photo shots for my second book - The Heart of the Table unlocking the treasures to family and community through Sicilian food.
This was a divine appointment because every photo that Beth took is in my second book.
But firstly, Beth and I both knew that the photos would be something out of this world if they where in Sicily.
It's like we put it out there and all of a sudden the road map become possible.
And there we were in Sicily together.
For me it was an honour and a privilege to share with my group my Sicily.
If you have my second book you will know that the photos are extraordinary, magnificent.

I’ve just retired too, it’s raining here in Brunswick, but I’d image it still be nice in Sorrento, anyone you know needs me to take care of a house and pet, let me know, so I’m flexible in terms of dates, preferably when weather warm, im pretty reliable, I’ve got a Police check as I worked with kids, regards
