Our Volkswagen Halo Roof System For The Transporter Is One Of Our Favourite Upgrades Yet! Full RGB LED Ambient Lighting
This one sits up there as one of our favourite upgrades to the Transporter T6 we have ever done just because it looks so awesome when it's fully installed.
So we start off with a fully CNC'd Roof and Plinth which we then covered in some High Quality Milano Suede. The Plinth was trimmed in Anthracite Hi-Flex Velour Carpet. The 6 LED Downlights were installed into the plinth at the request of the customer and then finished off with a High Quality RGB LED Lighting Strip that is fully controlled via wireless Remote Control.

Whats it made from, although they are leds they do give off a fair bit of heat, how has the fabric and the structure been protected against heat.

Would love to know the price on the halo ceiling. Do you need a leisure Battery fitting for it to run.

No a Leisure Battery is not required but if you have one it can be powered from that instead.

Is this halo lighting setup bright enough to illuminate the rear of the van without the additional down lights, or is it really just for ambience?

From memory I'm pretty sure it was quite bright but you would definitely want the interior white lighting if possible.
