Knitting Help - "Garter Tab", or Lace Shawl Beginning

  • Many lace shawl patterns use the "garter tab" technique to get you started. It's brilliant, but confusing, especially since you're usually working with tiny needles and yarn when you're doing it. I break it down with big needles and yarn to demonstrate how it's done.
