Well, it took me for several years to find an ideal place to settle down in African continent.
I have to say that every country on this list is a really good choice, and each one has its own appeal. But after traveling so many African countries over the years then this is what I came up:
    1. If you don't want to deal with corruption, bureaucracy, petty crime, traffic disorder, and daily hustle then the choices are (in no particular order):
    - Botswana
    - Rwanda
    - Namibia.
Among these three, Namibia has ocean access but it is dry and hot.
Rwanda offers one of the best climates in Africa as well as a beautiful hilly landscape. It is also a clean, green, and environmentally friendly country.
Therefore I chose Rwanda and I’m more than happy that I made that decision.
    Peace and love 😍

@CmxdC you are what I call very smart, very astute, very learned and well read. You remind me of a woman who before she leaves home for her grocery shopping she writes down what she needs to buy and not what others have told her to. That is exactly what you did and the end result is you are very happy and contented with a very solid and wise decision. You see I am an African hailing from Zambia, but I will tell you that eversince I watched quincy jones documentary on Rwanda, it is a country whose leadership has impressed me the most in all of Africa. I promote fervently a country that does not tolerate corruption, looting of state coffers and prosecuting those that are corrupt. These are the reasons it is an appealing country, very solid and very very safe. It is the safest country to be a solo traveller, to be a woman. Nobody in Rwanda can get away with corruption, it is frowned upon and the leadership crush it. If all of Africa behaved like this, it would be a paradise like no other. Well done for picking Rwanda, it pleases me so much to see a country I champion for and grown to love so dearly picked by other black people to settle down in. You will be making a good contribution yo the further development and attractiveness of Rwanda. Stay blessed in Rwanda. Lots of love to you from a sister.

People should visit but not move there. I know a female who thought Ghana was great and was poisoned by her boyfriend and his family so he could have the home she had just finished building and the business she started. She and another male friend talked about how loud it is in Ghana and how Africans love and worship white folks, and how they use bullhorns all times of the night to worship white Jesus. Most of the Americans who move to Africa return to the US.

There is very few countries I will advise African Americans to relocate to looking at the toxicity of this people. This people don't deserve anything good, they deserve the same politicians they got and the poverty that is happening in their own countries. Such hateful and jelous bunch. When you do come, spend time outside of our cities as well... rural Kenya is quite another wonderful experience. Dont forget to explore the coast, the plains, the desert and lakes, the mountains, the great rift valley, the tropics and much more, all in Kenya. Most of all Kenyans are very welcoming and you will lack for little that you are used to. Karibu sana.

I had a passion to visit Africa and visited Rwanda for a couple of months. Honestly, they don't see us as brother and sisters, we are ' Foreigners' and they treat us like that. They also still believe the hype that America is the land of milk and honey, and aspire to go. Unfortunately, too many Black people in America haven't done their homework and still believe that Africa is like the Tarzan movies. Imagine how POWERFUL we would be if we came together as a Nation!

Nigeria is not a good option for resettlement at this time, it has become very unsafe due to the political climate. There is generally a lack of accountability across the board, selective law enforcement, as well as the widespread activities of several terrorist groups largely unchecked by the security forces. Only those who can afford top military security are able to move around relatively safely.
Nigeria is currently at a crossroads. The situation can very easily degenerate into a total collapse, but we hope for a rebirth instead.

One thing you haven't mentioned is the crime in South Africa. And the unemployment rate is quite high. Not to mention the load shedding. Scheduled blackouts are a common thing now.

Unemployment and crime is expected to a country where everyone from everywhere want to be legally or illegally. But the continent people and abroad people even today they dodge laws and authority just to mingle in. That's not SACANS fault to have these untraceable criminals. It's government fault for being too lenient and corrupt government officials.
