- Ten Years After playing "Change The World" (HD multi-cam) at Nene Valley Rock Festival (NVRF) for their headline slot on the Swan stage on 1st September 2023.
It was a very good moment at the festival when they played this.
How can a band without its main MAN call themselves Ten Years After? Is there anyone from the original band in this lineup Roadies dont count
Yes. Half of the band are the original members! Bands change line-ups all the time. Alvin Lee left TYA long before he passed away and TYA continued. Great though he was, TYA were always a four piece that involved all of them in the songs, playing live, and creating the sound they did - the combination of the driving bass lines and fluid keys was always just as much what made them stand out. Should AC/DC stop being AC/DC because Bon Scott died? Just one example but there are hundreds of bands where key personnel chose to leave....
@@trevorcotterell3055 LMBO stop with the comparrison to AC/DC Bon Scott was the singer ALL the others were originals. And none of these guys are i dont see Ric Lee, they didnt have a left handed bass player, I dont see Chick Churchill. This is a JOKE !

I can guarantee that the drummer there is Ric Lee and the keyboard player is Chick Churchill. I booked them for this event, I introduced them, I talked with them before and after the show. Current (and has been for some years now) bass player is Colin Hodgkinson, veteran of numerous hugely influential bands.
GAWD. I was there. This was a magical moment. Marcus Bonfanti is more than a match for Alvin Lee.
