@@kqed Great food, like mathematics, transcends national boundaries. At the end of the day, we can always count on the fact that 2+2=4 and that somewhere along the line we need to eat.
Can't say enough about this guy - he's the reason I became a cook - so effortless and charming yet gently authoritative and wise - he's the GOAT in my humble opinion!
I love this man and had the pleasure of spending several hours with him. I truly hope I will have that honor again. He’s humble charming and obviously the best chef in the world. Truly a legend🥂❤️
My absolute favorite chef of all time is Jacques Pepin. Jacques, I have learned so much from you but it would be 30 paragraphs if I were to tell you here just how much I have learned. Every dish that I have made from one of your recipes has turned out wonderful and I can't even tell you all the knowledge that you have imparted to me. From your knowledge of cookware to Kitchen implements to sauces, vegetable preparations, seafood, I mean just everything! I love you so much and can never thank you enough for all that you have taught me. I am SO grateful to you. God bless you!❤❤
I hope to make this entire menu soon. If I do, I'll report back. I made a grilled eggplant salad from another one of his shoes and it was *delicious* 🤤
Guy just reviews restaurants, they're two different things. Unfortunately there aren't that many cooking shows like this anymore, but at least we have the old ones we can watch anytime we want online.
It was nice of him to mention Martin Yan towards the beginning. I've seen a collaboration between them and it was great.
We love a Yan Can Cook shout-out

Him and ferran Adria are my two favorite chefs
I literally just discovered him today and I’m hooked. As you say- such a charming chef to watch. 👍🏻

More Jacques Pépin? Excellent.
Thank you for this. Please gather everything he has done. We all love to have this time with him.
this man is a legend.
Long live the king
I love a granita especially with some chocolate added.
These episodes are the highlight of my week

That fish smoked with fennel I read about in a barbecue cookbook. Fennel is great for smoking.
So much joie de vivre (exuberant enjoyment of life)!
All that fancy food in 24 min. Wow. So impressive.
Great technique with the gnocchi. Simple and effective then presented invitingly. We love JP!
Thank you for these videos and also time stamps!
That fennel pear salad looked 😋
Jacques makes it look so easy...
Thank you again chef. Always enlightening. ❤️
What a great master shef! He makes it easy but it is not!♥️
Pear and fennel sounds wonderful. Will have to try this if I can find fresh fennel somewhere:)
love that dessert and pear salad
Marvelous cooking!
Martin Yan must be pretty good if Jacques Pepin would mention him. They both are excellent chefs!
Marvelous techniques....❤
❤️ Thanks for watching!
Sure he's a feckin artist!
I like oven dried tomatoes more than sun dries tomatoes.
So good 👍
9:30 does anyone else smell every egg you crack for cooking?
I love mustard with lean pork😏 Yummm
What year was this show?
Jacques Pepin is a legendary chef. And he is not an obnoxious clown like Guy Fieri
Nor is he a ranting foul-mouthed
cook like G. Ramsey is.

Those dumplings look just like Tater Tots!
When he adds the potato to the food processor for the dumplings, is the potato cooked or uncooked?
Cooked of course - or else it would be a doughy tater tot
The MAN ,.CAN UES. KNIFE.
Everytime i see fennel i think of my mother she hated fennel im not to wild about it either i dont trust it
You can always omit it from recipes!
