Company offers 45 day full refund if dissatisfied. But only if unopened!!! Otherwise 45% restock and processing fee. Also, 3-5 day shipping actually 19 day!!!!
Hello, we would like to take some time to respond to this and clear some things up! Recently, our company went through a roughly 3 week internal restructure. During this time, our typical in-house customer support team went offline, and all customer support was outsourced to a 3rd party agency. During this brief 3 week period, the support agency we hired was supposed to adhere to our typical return policy template we provided for them. However, instead they used one of their own “standard template” return policy, which is likely what you were sent if you ordered between the dates of October 20, 2022 - November 12, 2022. We have tried our best to contact everyone via email from this 3 week period to amend this situation, and refund them without sending back their products. If you ordered during this time and were denied a return we will refund you no questions asked! Please email us. Our policy currently is as it’s always been beyond this 3 week timeframe, which is you can always open the package, try the wallet out for a test run, and return it within 45 days for a refund, as long as it was not used for an extended period and is not showing any damages like dents, scratches, or dings. We hope this clears things up, and again if you ordered during the timeframe above, and had issues, we will refund you no questions asked - and you can keep the product. Please reach out to us via email for support if you have any further questions. As a startup founded by 2 normal guys like everyone reading this, we love and value our customers, and we deeply regret this error happened. - James CODE 118 Operations Manager
Thank you for the transparency on this. Saw Vino's comment here on another video and almost deterred me completely from buying. With a transparent and professional response like this, you're back in the running for me in my wallet decision-making process versus monoliths like Secrid and Ekster.
Appreciate the review and the look inside! Totally answered my question on how the cards are retained on the inside. Nice to see the actuator that levers the cards up too. I'm getting mine now!
Love your review of this, especially showing the mechanism with a light. Was wondering if you've used it for a few months of daily use? Basically can you talk at all to durability is what I'm wondering. I've read there are some issues with the return/replacement if it stops working.
I've used it everyday since this review it and it's been holding up well. I will say it doesn't get hard use from me though as I work a desk job for a living.
Have you looked into the accessories, like the extension plate and the leather casing? Also, how long did it take for you to get the 10% off and the 25% off emails?
Just ordered this, only 7 cards thou. I didn’t expect that but i should’ve read it better. Still looks like it’s a good option bec my cards always fall out
Appreciate the more in depth review. I've been looking into a wallet like this one and am torn between this or the Ekster. Thought I'd see if you've also tried one from them as well and if so, do you have a preference?
@Everyman EDC it's alright. Appreciate the reply. I went ahead and ordered one from Code 118. I've seen quite a bit of reviews stating that the trigger on the Ekster wallets tend to give out, and they only have a 12 month warranty. Thanks again for the reply and great video
I've seen some iffy comments on their customer service as well. The company left a comment addressing some of those issues, but I'm also interested in what you read. For a company offering a lifetime warranty, this is a lifetime commitment to the company too.

Did you have this experience personally?

@@CoreyDiMauro I actually ordered from Ekster and never received the wallet.
You are the ONLY person on youtube to show the inside mechanism sir, thank you!!
Glad you found me!

I think you will be happy with it
From the UK here.
Brilliant, informative review. This video certainly helped me decide to give this wallet a try.
Glad you found it helpful!
it’s been awhile so I gotta ask how is it holding up?
You saved me $! Thank you for the great tip, have a good one.
Glad to hear it's still working.
How is this holding up after a year of use? Is the trigger or gaskets showing wear? Is the sliding motion tearing up your cards? Thank you in advance!
It's still doing great!

Thanks for the tip of waiting to get that 25% off coupon, technique still works!
Glad to hear it's still working!
Really good video, I’ve been really picky but after this video im going to buy
Are you happy with it?
Very practical review thank you!
Thanks for watching!

I have not looked into the accessories. It probably took about a week before I got the 25% off coupon
Just bought one last night! Besides the customer service issue seems to be decent
I'm still happy with mine!
Just got their newer magsafe wallet, It's really nice, but I can't have the cash strap if im using magsafe (since it wraps all the way around)
I haven't checked that one out yet.
By far the Best review. Thank you 🏆
Thanks for watching!
Do you have to put 7 cards inside for it to work? Will the card holder work if you have like 3-5 cards?
It will work perfectly with less cards. My wife carries hers with only 3 cards.
just got mine and i love it
Glad to hear that.

All of these type of wallets are very limited on how many cards they hold.
Amazing review ! Thank you good sir

I haven't tried Ekster. Sorry I can't be more help.

Their at 40% off now and wish customer service was better
That's disappointing to hear there customer service is that bad.
@@everymanedc9518 it’s not bad. Just wish communication was better.
Did you have an issue with an order?
@@everymanedc9518 no ordering was smooth and easy with fast shipping. Just an unrelated issue
I was thinking of getting one. Buy reading about bad customer service. Not going to
I can't speak to their customer service personally but based on some other comments it may be a real issue.
