Yeah. I own four of them.

Despite the variety of small-blade options (including the Civivi baby banter, which I like), I’m hard pressed to find a sub 2.5” that weighs as little as the dragonfly.

Buying mine in a few days! Been looking for a long time for tsa safe tools but I gave up seeing how tsa might just take my tool away anyways. So imma just grab me a dime and leave it at home on trips!

Bought one today just for the hell of it while in line at Autozone. Already used it twice, a purchase any fella won't regret.

Hey buddy, just so you know. Orderer they wallet after watching your review and it turned out to be a SCAM. I've placed an order on May 12, seconds after I've placed the order I wrote to Customer Support asking for them to cancel to order since I've made a mistake. No one answered, so they "shipped" the wrong order anyway 3 days later, considering that I wrote to them everyday. Today is May 23rd and I still haven't received a response, I have been writing everyday, and have not yet received my order.

How is this holding up after a year of use? Is the trigger or gaskets showing wear? Is the sliding motion tearing up your cards? Thank you in advance!

Just got their newer magsafe wallet, It's really nice, but I can't have the cash strap if im using magsafe (since it wraps all the way around)

The bottle opener works great as an attachment point instead of that flimsy keychain ring, but yes, I've used it to actually open a foreign beer that didn't have a twist cap. The scissor works fine once you realize that it works best with the left hand. I also sharpened it a little more with a sharpening rod. The most used feature is definitely the plastic bubble wrap cutter that also strips wires, and opens boxes. Use it on the bubble plastic crap and it will save you many cuts on your fingers. The fail for me is the file on the screw driver. This is one of the best uses I get out of my Victorinox mini classic (scissors & nail file).

This is a great pen. I've used it at work for about 4 years now. I've traveled with it. The easyflow cartridge is amazing. However, the spring needs to be replaced as the actuator will no longer push the point out far enough to write at most angles. I have no idea where to get a replacement spring. 😢

Hi from the UK. Very useful video. I have owned one of these for about ten years, it has not seen that much use as it was a back up for my Leatherman PS4. I always felt it was a cheap alternative for the latter but it has worked well when needed. At least Gerber are still making a multi tool of these dimensions as Leatherman don't seem to be any longer.

What are you talking about? You can absolutely spydey flick the dragonfly, you just have to break it in for like a half hour of opening and closing manually. It’s not even like difficult or anything.

Very detailed analysis. Conclusion - not worth the money. I use a Ganzo varient of Byrd/Spyderco, surprisingly good. 440c holds up well. Thanks for sharing

i will take my 35 dollar CJRB Maliah any day over a 75 dollar Dragonfly i bought my Dragonfly years ago for 45 bucks , but they have simply gotten too expensive.

Nice comprehensive review. It has a great patina. I have used a Leatherman Wave for years but the Dime is my going on my keyring.

I have the Salt Dragonfly and its great. Im a bartender so Im always wet or covered in lime juice... Knife still does everything I ask it, had it with me at work everyday for a while. Price isnt great but I'll take Made In Japan over China any day of the week.

Take off the scales, spray paint ‘‘em black, and put them back on. Good as new.

On mine, the scissors are absolute crap. They do not even cut a thin piece of cord or cardboard.

A bit short for my liking. Maybe you should reconsider learning to use it as a defensive item. It’s unlikely but one day you may need to. It may be this or nothing.

I just bought one! Very clean looking Gentleman's knife. Though I wish you were silent at 1:28 when you flicked it open so I can hear the action instead of you speaking. Just a minor suggestion.

I am using this pen now for the last 8-9 month. Still loving it. The glass breaker is one of the best features. Not for breaking glas, but you can put markings on surfaces even the fisher space pen can not. Steel plates, aluminium, rough wood or even glas. Metal workers using a scriber to scratch on the surfaces e.g. where to cut a piece of steele. The carbide tip in this pen can do the same (in my opinion even better)

Have the zdp189 but wish I just stuck with the vg10. I carry other knives but usually have this as well. Grab it almost more than any other knife. That being said the native in lc200n get used in any outdoor environment instead

As good as the design is, at $75 for vg10 and over $100 for k390 and s30v versions I’m not seeing the value in the DF2. Distributor exclusive Endelas are selling for the same price? It’s a $50 knife in vg10 to me but I guess everyone’s view of a good deal is different.

Appreciate the more in depth review. I've been looking into a wallet like this one and am torn between this or the Ekster. Thought I'd see if you've also tried one from them as well and if so, do you have a preference?
