- In today's video, we are tying a deadly and very popular lure for fishing both small and large stillwaters. To me, this is a Humungous, but some people know it as a Shuggie. What ever your preference its a fly that certainly catches fish.

Gold Diamond Dub
UTC 140 Black
3mm Chain Eyes
Gold Holographic Tinsel
Black Marabou

Try 10-12 strands of ostrich herl for the tail and UV straggle string on the body . All black , no flash ! My #1 fly by far . I put it on a jig hook with a black off set bead to keep it riding horizontal under an indicator.

Great tie mate, I like to use chenille but then I think aslong as there gold or silver in the body it doesn't really matter! That's a killer foresure 👍
The original uses a gold or silver chenille. Works a treat.
