      Blatnick died on October 24, 2012, as a result of complications from heart surgery. His death sent shock waves through both MMA and wrestling, and resulted in massive outpouring from fans and media in remembrance of Blatnick's life. Frank Shamrock called Blatnick "one of the original soldiers of MMA"; longtime UFC referee John McCarthy said, "Jeff deserves so much credit for helping establish MMA. He gave his credibility to our sport we all owe him a debt of gratitude." MMA fighter and SiriusXM radio host R. J. Clifford wrote, "Jeff Blatnick was so genuine. Seconds after becoming the first US greco medalist, he spent his interview thanking others. Most importantly, (he was) a great human being. Secondly, (he was) one of the best guys to help fix MMA judging...What a loss to both wrestling and MMA." ~ . 🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢🩸🩸. 🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢🩸🩸. 🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢⚫🔴🟢🩸🩸

    This was Mate back then. Perhaps Jake Paul would like to try Nate on Nate's turf. Boxing is an easy out for Jake but I'm still predicting Diaz in less than 5 rounds, for their fight.

    That's the only fight I've seen showing Diaz's jiu jitsu skills. I can now see why his UFC opponents chose to square up him.

      He has a bunch of submission wins in the UFC. Plenty of his Jiu Jitsu on display.

      I didn't say Diaz didn't have any wins by submission fighting in the UFC. I said I've never seen a fight that showed how elite his Jiu-Jitsu skills are.

    • @handsolo1546
      @handsolo1546 Рік тому

      10-8 is when the ref is close to stopping it, when someone is getting dominated to the point they cannot defend themselves. Everytime Nate was thrown he recovered position and Garcia couldn't do anything. Not even close to a 10 -8 round, but the takedowns were impressive

    Garcia did a good job - great judo throws and takedowns … but he gassed quickly half way through round 2 and didn’t know what to do with Nate on the ground - hence nate ‘s cardio and jiu jitsu took over
