That rubbing his bloodied face all over PC's face was like a horror movie scene.
Great fight between two warriors.
LR nose was full of blood early doors, affecting his breathing, at times he was out on his feet with exhaustion, but man did he soldier on.

I actually used to hate Luke Rockhold because of his arrogance, but I actually feel sorry for him now, and want him to win. His fall from grace since Bisping KO'D him and took the world championship from him, has been dramatic and quick to say the least. He showed true grit there though!!!

He's still young, izzy jus outclassed him, Marvin jus has a head full of concrete and rob is so fast. . But that wheel kick damn he has some of the best kicks, front leg high kick no switch is so good

Rockhold's cardio is shocking for a professional MMA fighter. He was blowing out of his arse by the end of round 1.
He couldn't breathe properly after he took that shot in round 1. I don't know what fight you were watching.

if i remember correctly they weren't prepared for the altitude i believe this was the first fight in Utah and they learned alot from it
Rockholds fall from grace has been nothing short of spectacular. Since Bisping KO'D him and took the belt of him, his arrogance rapidly disappeared. Now I've went from wanting all of his opponents to smash his smug face in, to actually feeling sorry for him and kinda rooting for the guy. He showed true grit there, he definitely is a warrior and I actually wish him all the best now. Paulo Costa is no joke, he's one scary dude, and for the size of his muscles he's got brilliant cardio!

I think Costa was asking Rocco if he was OK at the end of the fight. Rocco said "Yeah I'm OK" after Costa asked him something. Rocco was worn-out. He didn't have the conditioning for this fight.

This fight was pretty close. Besides the finger to the eyes and low blow. They drained their gas tank pretty fast. Which wasn't fun to watch.

Luke did not have the cardio maybe the cut but body shots also but constantly leg kicks and spinning stuff and never could catch a second wind or pace himself
Altitude... fight took place a high altitude. Luke not trained for that, oxygen is much thinner. Of course the busted nose did not help, and those early rib shots from Costa took a toll as well.
this was the first fight in Utah and I dont think he was ready for that on top of a broken nose. Costa got those Brazilian genetics tho they got different air or something that way xD

Luke honestly had some moments in the fight. But he was just on the back foot the whole fight. Hard to win a fight on decisiom when u are the one on the defensive the whole time

those kicks are basically the same thing, he's live commentating a fight in front 100k people i mean i'd imagine he couldn't see which foot he landed on so he'll make mistakes just as all commentators do, he holds black belts in both Taekwondo and BJJ but yeah you probably know more than him in the art of fighting

It frustrates me when great fighters don't train at altitude before a fight at altitude, then gas out during the fight ! It's so fucking obvious, but some of them just don't get it. Also looking at you Mr Valesquez!!

A lot of people to this day think Luke was trying to spread his blood on Costa's face. Luke's face was so bloody that it got into his eyes and he was practically blind. When he is rubbing his face on Costa he is trying to wipe the blood of his eye socket with out using his hands. When Luke is on top of Costa he can't even see him.
