i dust my wooting off daily and its insane to eat right over it or do other messy things. im not a degen, im civilized lol but i keep forgetting to use the plastic dust cover it comes with - it boggles my mind really how often i forget but its ok i just dust it with a soft brush and blow air at it. the wooting full size is nice because the keys are not sunk into the keyboard case like the 60HE and nothing really gets stuck down below the keys and is easy to blow out
You forgot one step, if there are actually big chunks of Cheetos floating on top of your keyboard, make sure to turn the keyboard upside down and shake it first before you go to town with a brush.
i just started the video cause i was interested in buying the wooting 60 he, but am used to keyboards where u can just take out the switches rather than desodering and didnt know if it had that feature, so i just searched up how to clean it in case. Opening shot almost made me fall out my chair
Hi Atoosa, they don't come pre-installed. But we will make sure to include a tutorial on how to replace the springs soon when our own lube & tool kit arrives. All Cherry MX keycaps are compatible with the Lekker switch. So nearly all of them should be able to fit. ^Sander
You should be able to put damping foam in the bottom tray if you would like to improve the acoustics. Haven't tried it out personally yet, but will definitely try in the future :D ^Sander
when do the EU gamma people get the notification email and tracker that our 60he is on its way, cause on Discord is sayed something like "initiate on 21 of june" doesnt that mean we should have gotten the Email yesterday? or what exactly does it mean? Greetings!
I've used isopropyl alcohol in the past with no problems. It wont cause a short if it gets on your PCB, and evaporates pretty quickly, faster than water, at least. Distilled water is another option.
see next.wooting.io/wooting-60he-quickstart shortcuts are at end, your question is fn + caps + win left key on 60HE. On Wooting two HE it's FN+win. If you look at your layers in remap, it's the Key lock.
I would highly advise against putting it underwater. Our keyboards aren't waterproof, we have a spill resistant coating for accidental spillings but this doesn't allow for it to be submerged into water. ^Sander
No you can't, best is to open them up and gentle remove any debris or anything inside. If it is dirt on the exterior, gently brush it from the outside. Make sure they are completely dry when inserting them back in! :)
I've had the Wooting 1 for quite a few years now and have been very impressed with it. Well worth the money, couldn't be happier.
The intro of this video hurt my soul and everything else
😩😩
lol
This video is just what I was looking for. My keyboard is filthy and I am definitely going to use your method of cleaning on my keyboard.
..later: Well did you?
hilarious intro I was not prepared

Sounds like you are taking good care of your keyboard

Definitely. Though my cheetos was just completely stuck on there because of all the energy drink, heh.

I can't get the keys to stay on now. Is there a trick?
It's easy. Just set your keyboard aside when you eat. I rarely have to clean it.
That would be the smartest move. Though sometimes you just want to get a bag of chips meanwhile gaming with your mates. 😋

Super j'ai 2 touches qui ne fonctionnent plus maintenant 😥
Keycaps WERE hurt in the making of this video.
They have survived the apocalypse, surprisingly 😛

Can I get the new wooting springs pre installed on a wooting keyboard when I buy it also are most key caps compatible with your keyboard

1:54 EEEEEW! That's your skin & other "stuff" 😋
is it sufficient to put dampening foam underneath the board?

Greetings!
Batches going out daily, Wooting Hub should keep track, you'll receive an email once shipper has piked up the goods and did the first scan.
okay thank you for the info I appreciate it, really looking forwrad getting mine🥰
Wait it’s a keyboard? I thought it was a fancy plate!
Hello, what do you dampen the qtip with? 99% isopropyl alcohol?
Water generally works however some cleaning products may do depends on keyboard, if unsure just stick to water.

@@chchanman Thank you!
@@yhossarian Do you use the 99% isopropyl one or just the 70%?
@@balshhh8233 I think mine was 91%, but I would think 99 would be fine. Higher alcohol content means more of the liquid will evaporate, faster.
i have a question how do u windows lock please and thank u

15 minutes
Bro really wants to scratch his keycaps
Die intro 😂
Don't forget to bring a towel!
I've put one underneath my board, I'd recommend doing the same if yours is in a real bad shape, yeah... 😉

My keyboard cost about $12 at Walmart. I'll buy another!
W
typing without keycaps
i mean... brake cleaner ??? :)
Dishwasher..
If you get an he keyboard just put it underwater cause it’s waterproof. I don’t know though i’ve never tried.

Oh.
Can I wash switches same as key caps? They are dirty after I fill my keyboard with liqueur 😄🥲
