Turns out the Saiyans are in a war with the -insert name of race here-. When Goku's family and Vegeta's arrive they can show off super saiyan. King Vegeta could then question the whole "Class" system when he realises that the low class warrior is FAR stronger than the Prince Of All Saiyans who was born a Super Elite. And they could learn about heritage.
If he says something redundant like being a super saiyan that has ascended above a super saiyan who has ascended beyond a super saiyan, it will be the end of all of us, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
