I really want Emily to speak to Summer because I feel like Emily hasn't really been there emotionally for the dancers, and since Michelle left, it's kind of been her job. Emily went through a similar thing to Summer in season 1, so I think it would be perfect for her to tell Summer how she overcame the team voting her out as captain (and how they won regionals, I suppose). I think it's Emily's time to show that she can fill the hole Michelle left behind.

I think the point was that it was meant to be cringy - and she’s only ever liked one person before that we know of, so it’s not too unbelievable that this is a real thing she does. The point was kind of that it’s a believable way for Finn to pick up on what’s going on, and it illustrates how weird Piper feels about everything going on in her head.
I would be really sad if TNS decide to go to Dance Mania... I mean, they’ve been trying to win regionals for YEARS, Noah did everything he could to help the team... so imagine his face when he found out that the team just gave up on going to Nationals. Idk, I feel like they had focus so much on winning regionals that It would be really weird if the decide to go to Dance Mania
And also on that point, Noah would just feel like he should've stayed at TNS because at the end of the day they're ALL going to be professional dancers on Dance Mania and at the end of Season 6 he just said he doesn't know where he is going to go but he's gonna leave so he might as well have stayed.
I think they are going to nationals. Lots of the cast have hinted that they are for example piper said I’m not ready to say goodbye to piper this season and Kingston said we might not be the champions at nationals this year and lily winked.
They’ve said in the next step that the point of the troop isn’t to be a professional troop but to help make the dancers into professional dancers so they should go to nationals as a troop or they should have to leave the next step to go to dance mania and be replaced by b troupe or new dancers.
I'm not sure about them going to Dancemania because I was looking forward to nationals and especially internationals, I really wanted Richelle to be female soloist☹️
i’m sorry but the last episode could’ve been more dramatic and the whole piper and finn should’ve been developed more instead of rushed in this episode. Finn shouldve just never dated amy like why do they always have to date someone in the studio, he could’ve just gone off with someone at school and then piper could’ve met her, develops feelings for him and then decides to keep them in and can talk to amy and we can have some friendship moments and yh, anyway love ur video loads xxxx

i feel that there has to be some sort of loop hole where they can compete at dance mania and still go to nationals. mainly for the show's sake. they spent season 5 and 6 working towards regionals and now it seems wrong to just throw nationals all away. i think that tns won't win dance mania but find some way (possibly a loop hole in the rules) to compete at nationals, then internationals.
I just think it's ridiculous that A troupe are competing at Dance Mania. If you watch the last episode of S6, straight after they won regionals, Ozzy and Kingston are so hyped up about going to Nationals and Henry is EVEN more hyped up by saying 'Finally we are going to Nationals'. Let's not forget for 3 seasons they were trying to build up to Nationals by winning regionals, so to just forget about it is just a really silly thing. I also think that IF Michelle stayed they would've NEVER even had the Idea of going on Dance Mania. Honestly I'm just going to have to rewatch Season 2 because that's the only Nationals we are going to see at the rate that Season 7 is going.
Dont get me wrong, I’m like the biggest pinn shipper you'll encounter 😂 but I don’t like how it ended with them kissing. Yes, I still flipped out when they kissed and quite literally screamed that morning, but then the realisation of Amy dawned upon me. It sucks bcos piper isn’t one to cheat, as shown in season 4 (although technically, finn initiated the kiss. We can also apply west’s kissing theory to it to see that it’s more so Finns fault than hers 😂) Maybe it could’ve ended with piper saying she liked him and Finn saying he liked her back, then it ends with them wondering what comes next? In all honesty, I thought he was going to tell her off like how eldon did to Michelle in season 1 , basically telling her that “that’s not fair” and all. Welp, I guess that’s pinn for ya 😂 I HAVE ONE MORE ESSAY ON TUESDAY WOOP
I was the same. It hypes you up for all of two seconds and then you realise that Pinns first kiss will always be a betrayal to their best friend/ girlfriend. I hoped Amy and Finn would just have a date where they realised that they were “mates, not dates”. And then Pinn would have happened with Amy’s approval and it would’ve been beautiful. 🙊 Sorry for ranting xx
Who feels like this season is over the place? S6 was soo good. I miss Noah, Michelle and Jackie. Plus we are getting zero Ozzy and Richelle moments. Aren't they supposed to be a couple this season? I hope the second half is better.
I agree with you that this episode is a solid 8/10. Definitely does not get a better rating than that. Ok, I really don't want them to go to Dancemania because they might not even win and then they won't be able to compete anymore. Kingston and Lily are the most annoying couple in the world (almost as bad as Ralfie) and whoever wrote them like that needs a new job. I really wish Finn hadn't kissed Piper because he knows that's wrong and if I was Piper, I would have pulled away. I wish Finn and Amy had broken up because they realised it isn't working and then Piper and Finn kiss. The Talking Heads captions are getting really annoying. I swear I've never seen Piper do jazz-funk in my life! I'm excited for the next half of the season and I hope it airs soon. Also, I hope you are doing well health-wise. This coronavirus thing is making me a little worried and some of my friends' schools have shut down but I'm staying positive! 💖💖
K so dont get me wrong, i love Pinn but one of the things that gets me is Piper knows (or atleast should know) a thing or two qbout cheating. Like in season 4 she went from being like sisters with riley to feeling bretrayed about her kissing alfie. Ik it wasnt her being cheated on but she did rlly take it yo jeart. I just tthink piper is a mature character that would mot easily forget how hurt she wad even if it was 3 years ago as piper isnt the sort of person that i would think to fprgive and forget that easily
Also i just checked the comments section on TNS most recent video and a trailer for the second half of the season and episode 12 will be out after a short break as many members of the crew are having to work from home due to corona so for health reasons the next episode may not be out for a while as they need time to ajust first.
i agree with you in a lot of your points. 1. cleo has had no character development for me to be upset for her. the only thing she tried to do was to ultimately sabotage richelle so she would have a spot instead. 2. kingston and lily were cute with their enemies to lovers but it just feels like the writing room were like “which couple would surprise the audience the most?” and didn’t plan anything else and gave them no storyline for their relationship at all. they’re just annoying at this point 3. i hope richelle’s character development is consistent this time because they always backtrack with her. they can write a confident “sassy” richelle without making her a bitch a lot of these times with one good moment a season. 4. i want them to go nationals i guess because of that “nostalgia” feeling over having 6 seasons of that always being the goal. but i understand of them wanting to do something different with the show and also a good way to end it showing them branching out to different opportunities as individual dancers instead of hanging around not knowing what to do next like the previous generation. 5. finn and piper’s kiss gives me mixed feelings because while i was waiting for it for seasons and episodes now, i did not want it to happen this way. they already gone with this cheating storyline on jiley with piper involved in it so i don’t understand the purpose of doing something like this. but then again finn kissed her so i guess i’ll “judge” her based on her reaction in the following episodes. as much as amy’s character has been bumpy she doesn’t deserve this at all. also finn and amy were dating for like 2 weeks(?) so it’s not like it’s been that long for me to think amy would be upset on finn liking piper but on the fact that they kissed whilst finn was in a relationship with her. as much as i don’t ship finn/amy this wasn’t the route to take and doesn’t let me enjoy pinn’s first kiss which a lot of us have been desperately waiting for.
Hello mockingariana3, I am a regular watcher and I can’t believe so many people that watch your videos aren’t subscribed to your channel. You deserve way more subscribers than you have currently.
Some predictions for 7.5 based off trailers etc: (Btw I know the trailers are for the first half but they could include some clues that'll happen in 7.5) • Pinn - I think Piper will show a bit more James in her when he kissed Beth and will tell Finn the kiss was a mistake. Finn will continue to date Amy, but Amy would notice the attraction between Pinn or Finn would tell her about the kiss. She'll be upset at first, but then she'll have flashbacks of her heartbreak with LaTroy and Henry and will remember how happy they were with Sloane and Summer. Now Amy is friends with both Henry and Summer, she'll know that she can be friends with them and she'll tell them that they're meant to be because I haven't really liked Amy before but you can tell her heart is big. • Pinn Alternate Prediction - an alternate prediction would be Kingston and Lily have argued too much and are more focused on breaking up and getting back together. Btw my predictions are based around Nationals because I have an overall prediction for that. Anyway, Amy and Finn would then get chosen for the Nationals duet instead considering Henry and Richelle will keep their soloist spots. Amy is ill one day, so they ask Richelle first to fill in since she has the closest style to Amy. Then Piper is chosen as everyone else is busy or something. They talk during duet practise about the kiss since Piper's been avoiding Finn and Amy overhears Piper telling Finn (she comes back towards the end of an episode as she feels better) that the kiss shouldn't have happened. Amy will feel bad for Piper since she's been through it before with the whole Ralfie/Jiley thing and I'm not sure where this will go but y'all can choose the ending for this one. • Nationals/Kenzie's Moment - so I've watched the trailers back and Kenzie said "sometimes the biggest rewards come from taking the biggest risks" and I can't actually remember her saying that. Then again, the white wall trailer (where I'm getting most of this) had Emily talking to A-troupe about their final dance which hasn't happened yet either. My prediction is Kenzie's FINALLY gonna have her moment and she's gonna speak up for herself. She'll notice many arguments between everyone with their storylines such as the Piper/Finn/Amy love triangle, Richelle taking charge of the choreo, Kingston is still mad at Henry and probably broken up with Lily again etc. Kenzie will realise that this much drama never happened when they did Regionals. The only arguments were over dance. Since their names were already signed up for Dancemania, Kenzie will finally have her chance and will set things right. She'll tell everyone that she's not doing Dancemania and instead wants to do Nationals and TV is causing more chaos than competition. She goes in hard at Richelle, who tries to defend Dancemania, and eventually leaves rehearsal. Since Richelle and Kenzie were supoosed to be the new friendship, Richelle will overhear Kenzie talking to Nick and Emily about leaving the studio to compete at Nationals. Richelle will feel bad and that's where we'll get the real character development. She'll invite Summer back because Emily's still upset they didn't choose Nationals and it's actually Richelle that gets the heart of Michelle and starts to do what's right for the team. She'll realise this as Absolute Dance hears about Dancemania and since Richelle is no longer competing for Nationals, they'll threaten to take away her being the face of Absolute Dance. She'll then realise that being the face is more important to her than a TV show and eventually, everyone goes back to doing Nationals. • Richelle - I have a feeling that Richelle will win Miss National Soloist and Jones will surprise her backstage. Y'all remember Jones right? The one they dance battled in The Next Steep? Yeah that's the one! Anyway, he'll see just how good she is and offer her a spot on his tour since he won Dancemania. I feel like that'll be how Richelle leaves TNS. They eventually win Nationals (the reason why Myles, who plays Nick, is doing #Season8WhenTho) but Richelle will leave TNS for the tour. There could even be the surprise element where she's not sure but Noah and Jaquie end up being on the tour and that's what makes her mind up! • B-troupe - so this is my final prediction. As we saw in seasons 2+3, the dancers changed up quite a bit. They eventually have to sign up the names for Nationals. That's how Amanda got to dance for TNS in season 2 as she was signed up to both TNS and Elite. Anyway, my final prediction would be that A-troupe do Dancemania. Emily still wants to do Nationals though. I have a feeling Summer will join B-troupe as her love of dance and the studio is too much to let go of. Since Cleo and Jude are both a part of B-troupe now, I have a feeling we'll see more of B-troupe anyway. So as A-troupe are preparing for Dancemania, Emily gets B-troupe to prepare for Nationals. Then B-troupe are signed up for Nationals instead of A-troupe after some practise since Jude said "we're better than you think". They win Nationals and since A-troupe went off to Dancemania, B-troupe become the new A-troupe. So those are my predictions. They're actually more how I would write the show 😂 but they're fun to think about. Anyways, loved the video, pretty sure I'm the only one who actually got excited at Pinn's kiss and can't wait for 7.5! 😁
For real! Don’t mind the username, I’m on my older brothers account! I think that the writers may have plotted like season 6 where Miss Angela’s studio gets disqualified but a rival studio and TNS battle it out. Then there’s the tiebreaker. Pinn do it and they win.
It feels like the writers are trying to change the tone of the show in one season and take it from a mockumentary to a drama with no rhyme or reason. Plus the drama is coming more from relationships than with dance and competitions like before which was what made the show so great. Not to mention undoing all of the most meaningful character developments that I was actually invested in and we’re just suddenly supposed to care about this random competition that was only mentioned once before in an off season? Honestly, if they go to dance mania I will feel pretty damn betrayed. I suffered through the monstrosity that was season 4 so I could be more excited when they win internationals again and they SHOW THE WORLD (he he). I think they're gonna ditch dancemania and decide to go to nationals instead so that Summer can dance with them. Whether or not she remains as dance captain is up to the writers.
Personally I think they should go to nationals because they can reaudition for dance mania but if they go to dance mania they can never to nationals, internationals or regionals ever again
I feel sorry for amy cause her heart has been broken for example La troy broke up with her and i dont know why kenzie is even on the show she has no purpose and hadn't had a story about her.

I somehow feel like nationals is gonna happen either way because of what Presley said when she didn't make it as an alternate. She said something along the lines of going to find a different troupe to get her to nationals & I don't think that was the last time we ever got to see her. I don't know but I just found that to be an interesting sort of 'hint' on what may happen later in the season.
Ok - I’m going to try (and probably fail) to keep this as brief as I can, but I’m hoping to make people feel better about this... So I really loved this episode, and it didn’t really sink in at first that it might not have gone down well. Kingston and Lily hasn’t turned out like I think we all hoped, but it looks to me like they’re saving the development for part two of the season, so I think they’ll be OK - fingers crossed. On to the two big points - first up, Piper and Finn. Unfortunately, I loved it how it went, and didn’t manage to check myself until later on. It was definitely rushed and I really wish they hadn’t done it like this, but I couldn’t help being happy - though one week on I can’t stop myself feeling guilty about it, and sadly that’s probably the correct reaction. I’ve seen many people getting very angry about it, so I just want to say - I don’t think that they’ve started as they mean to go on. It would be completely out of character for both of them if they stick to a cheating storyline (especially Piper - I hope her experience with love triangles becomes a feature of this, because it would be interesting if they’re both very aware that what they did was wrong and we know that Piper probably is already), and I don’t think the show would have made them do that, not seriously. My honest opinion (and I hope I’m not wrong) is that I think they’re going to spend the next few episodes trying to atone for what they did - either they’re going to tell Amy right away, or Finn’s going to at least break up with her, and then they won’t actually do anything about their feelings out of respect for her, and it’s going to tear them up inside. The most notable trailer content we haven’t seen yet from Finn and Piper is those white walls scenes where it looks a hell of a lot like they’re pining over each other, which makes me think that they’re going to be essentially unable to be together - and because we know they’re both decent people and they both care about Amy, I honestly can’t see why the writers wouldn’t put them in a situation where they try and do the right thing. Plus it’s a painful way for them to make the Pinn storyline as a whole be a memorable one. I’m sure I’m somewhat biased as these guys are my favourite characters, but in all seriousness - they have to try and keep the show interesting, but from the evidence from both the show as a whole and the trailers, I don’t think they would really sacrifice the morals of their characters to do it. So yeah, as much as they can, I think Finn and Piper are going to do what’s right, and try and make up for what they’ve done. (This isn’t going to be brief. How typical.) Number two - Dancemania. Long story short, I highly doubt it’ll go as planned. The way this storyline has been set up seems to me like they’re going to get to Dancemania and it will absolutely not be what it seems - something will be dodgy or will start to go wrong, and they’ll come out of it wishing they’d stuck with Nationals - sort of how Amy’s storyline ultimately went with AcroNation, and we know that she came back to TNS in the end. The show always tries to troll us into thinking that the final competition somehow won’t be happening, and they’ve never failed to make it there yet. I’m pretty sure that the show will take us to Nationals in some way purely because of what Presley said - she was going to join another Nationals team, and I would be very surprised if we never found out what team it was (please, let it be Gemini...). Unfortunately I can’t fault the theory that B-Troupe are going to Nationals, because they have enough dancers and sadly it’s very plausible - but I just don’t think it’s that likely. I know that we’ve been introduced to a lot more of B-Troupe this season, but I agree that it doesn’t fit with the generalised opinion that they’re generally not well-rounded enough for big competitions, and there are two B-Troupers that they just haven’t developed at all, which seems strange if they’re going to become so important - and in terms of A-Troupe, Kenzie and Kingston have openly talked about how excited they are for Nationals, they must know we’d want to see Henry’s Nationals solo, Richelle is literally the Face of Absolute Dance... they’ve built up Nationals so much that it seems strange that they ultimately wouldn’t go. And I know they’ve talked even more about Dancemania recently - but to me, that seems to be an indication that they’ve hyped it up so much that it’ll ultimately be a disappointment. It would be really interesting if that’s the case, because there’s all that kerfuffle about them not being eligible to compete anymore - so if Dancemania is in fact a flop, there’s a potential storyline where A-Troupe have to make some kind of case to be able to compete again, which I know I’d personally be excited to see :) I think before the first episode aired, I said something like ‘the first half of the season will be a chance for things to hit peak drama level’ and ‘we’ll all feel different by the time we’ve seen all the episodes and know how it ends’. I stand by that. I’ve enjoyed S7 way more than I haven’t enjoyed it, and I fully believe that the second half will be worth waiting for. I’ve watched a lot of this show in my time, and I don’t think they’d really steer away from the formula that made everyone love it in the first place - but at the same time, I honestly kind of like that the episodes are interesting, and I hope that it winds up as a healthy mix between the two. Don’t panic though guys - focus on what you’ve liked so far. I think it’ll all be OK in the end, and we’ll be able to root for Pinn again soon :) Stay safe indoors everyone, and as usual, hope my disgustingly long comment didn’t bore you 😄😄

I don't like what Finn did but I think it is a really good opportunity to revisit Pipers anxiety. They could have Amy and Finn break up and not talk to each other, and have Amy blaim Piper and then Piper has an anxiety attack and Finn and Amy come together to help Piper an d then become friends again and then have Piper and Finn best friends again! Also I really like the idea for Richelle to give up her spot for Summer and then they have a really heart to heart moment. Just saying I think that Finn only kissed Piper yo s but her up. J.K. Pinn is my favourite ship ever on The Next step but I HATED the way this episode ended. If they wanted a pinn cliffhanger it could have ended with Piper telling Finn she likes him. Then in the next few episodes things would be weird between them and Finn is conflicted what to do. Maybe then Finn and Amy would break up mutually or just break up without and drama (But realistically on Tns that wouldn’t happen) and then Pinn could happen. Or, as much as my little Pinn heart hates it, Piper and Finn not dating at all. I just absolutely hate that piper was involved in a cheating when she knows how much it hurts somebody (because of the whole Jiley situation and James being her brother) On a different note, great video!!! I think the b troup will move up to a troup instead and complete at nationals while the team competes at dance mania and summer will be apart of that team and summer and cleo will compete for miss national soloist and the 2 ‘besties’ (in 5 mins ) would compete for mr national soloist so it would be a brand new a troup maybe 🙃
It honestly really bugs me that cleo kept going on about not getting in dances and not getting any attention. when she auditions to be ALTERNATE and not for A-troupe .
i honestly really hope that emily or richelle force a-troupe go to nationals because i think they should at least end the show after an internationals win, let it come full circle. they can always do dancemania again its probably a recurring show

I think if this plot was for regionals I would totally agree for them to go to dance mania because they’d be done by things but when they go to regionals and work hard In s5 and s6 but you throw out NATIONALS?! also Imagine what Noah would feel and all the dancers that left last season to be professional dancers it would all be for nothing.

And also on that point, Noah would just feel like he should've stayed at TNS because at the end of the day they're ALL going to be professional dancers on Dance Mania and at the end of Season 6 he just said he doesn't know where he is going to go but he's gonna leave so he might as well have stayed.
I think they are going to nationals. Lots of the cast have hinted that they are for example piper said I’m not ready to say goodbye to piper this season and Kingston said we might not be the champions at nationals this year and lily winked.

i feel that there has to be some sort of loop hole where they can compete at dance mania and still go to nationals. mainly for the show's sake. they spent season 5 and 6 working towards regionals and now it seems wrong to just throw nationals all away. i think that tns won't win dance mania but find some way (possibly a loop hole in the rules) to compete at nationals, then internationals.

I just think it's ridiculous that A troupe are competing at Dance Mania. If you watch the last episode of S6, straight after they won regionals, Ozzy and Kingston are so hyped up about going to Nationals and Henry is EVEN more hyped up by saying 'Finally we are going to Nationals'. Let's not forget for 3 seasons they were trying to build up to Nationals by winning regionals, so to just forget about it is just a really silly thing. I also think that IF Michelle stayed they would've NEVER even had the Idea of going on Dance Mania.
Honestly I'm just going to have to rewatch Season 2 because that's the only Nationals we are going to see at the rate that Season 7 is going.

Dont get me wrong, I’m like the biggest pinn shipper you'll encounter 😂 but I don’t like how it ended with them kissing. Yes, I still flipped out when they kissed and quite literally screamed that morning, but then the realisation of Amy dawned upon me. It sucks bcos piper isn’t one to cheat, as shown in season 4 (although technically, finn initiated the kiss. We can also apply west’s kissing theory to it to see that it’s more so Finns fault than hers 😂) Maybe it could’ve ended with piper saying she liked him and Finn saying he liked her back, then it ends with them wondering what comes next?

I agree with you that this episode is a solid 8/10. Definitely does not get a better rating than that. Ok, I really don't want them to go to Dancemania because they might not even win and then they won't be able to compete anymore. Kingston and Lily are the most annoying couple in the world (almost as bad as Ralfie) and whoever wrote them like that needs a new job. I really wish Finn hadn't kissed Piper because he knows that's wrong and if I was Piper, I would have pulled away. I wish Finn and Amy had broken up because they realised it isn't working and then Piper and Finn kiss. The Talking Heads captions are getting really annoying. I swear I've never seen Piper do jazz-funk in my life! I'm excited for the next half of the season and I hope it airs soon. Also, I hope you are doing well health-wise. This coronavirus thing is making me a little worried and some of my friends' schools have shut down but I'm staying positive! 💖💖

K so dont get me wrong, i love Pinn but one of the things that gets me is Piper knows (or atleast should know) a thing or two qbout cheating. Like in season 4 she went from being like sisters with riley to feeling bretrayed about her kissing alfie. Ik it wasnt her being cheated on but she did rlly take it yo jeart. I just tthink piper is a mature character that would mot easily forget how hurt she wad even if it was 3 years ago as piper isnt the sort of person that i would think to fprgive and forget that easily
Also i just checked the comments section on TNS most recent video and a trailer for the second half of the season and episode 12 will be out after a short break as many members of the crew are having to work from home due to corona so for health reasons the next episode may not be out for a while as they need time to ajust first.
i agree with you in a lot of your points.
1. cleo has had no character development for me to be upset for her. the only thing she tried to do was to ultimately sabotage richelle so she would have a spot instead.
2. kingston and lily were cute with their enemies to lovers but it just feels like the writing room were like “which couple would surprise the audience the most?” and didn’t plan anything else and gave them no storyline for their relationship at all. they’re just annoying at this point
3. i hope richelle’s character development is consistent this time because they always backtrack with her. they can write a confident “sassy” richelle without making her a bitch a lot of these times with one good moment a season.
4. i want them to go nationals i guess because of that “nostalgia” feeling over having 6 seasons of that always being the goal. but i understand of them wanting to do something different with the show and also a good way to end it showing them branching out to different opportunities as individual dancers instead of hanging around not knowing what to do next like the previous generation.
5. finn and piper’s kiss gives me mixed feelings because while i was waiting for it for seasons and episodes now, i did not want it to happen this way. they already gone with this cheating storyline on jiley with piper involved in it so i don’t understand the purpose of doing something like this. but then again finn kissed her so i guess i’ll “judge” her based on her reaction in the following episodes. as much as amy’s character has been bumpy she doesn’t deserve this at all. also finn and amy were dating for like 2 weeks(?) so it’s not like it’s been that long for me to think amy would be upset on finn liking piper but on the fact that they kissed whilst finn was in a relationship with her. as much as i don’t ship finn/amy this wasn’t the route to take and doesn’t let me enjoy pinn’s first kiss which a lot of us have been desperately waiting for.

Hello mockingariana3, I am a regular watcher and I can’t believe so many people that watch your videos aren’t subscribed to your channel. You deserve way more subscribers than you have currently.
Some predictions for 7.5 based off trailers etc:
(Btw I know the trailers are for the first half but they could include some clues that'll happen in 7.5)
• Pinn - I think Piper will show a bit more James in her when he kissed Beth and will tell Finn the kiss was a mistake. Finn will continue to date Amy, but Amy would notice the attraction between Pinn or Finn would tell her about the kiss. She'll be upset at first, but then she'll have flashbacks of her heartbreak with LaTroy and Henry and will remember how happy they were with Sloane and Summer. Now Amy is friends with both Henry and Summer, she'll know that she can be friends with them and she'll tell them that they're meant to be because I haven't really liked Amy before but you can tell her heart is big.
• Pinn Alternate Prediction - an alternate prediction would be Kingston and Lily have argued too much and are more focused on breaking up and getting back together. Btw my predictions are based around Nationals because I have an overall prediction for that. Anyway, Amy and Finn would then get chosen for the Nationals duet instead considering Henry and Richelle will keep their soloist spots. Amy is ill one day, so they ask Richelle first to fill in since she has the closest style to Amy. Then Piper is chosen as everyone else is busy or something. They talk during duet practise about the kiss since Piper's been avoiding Finn and Amy overhears Piper telling Finn (she comes back towards the end of an episode as she feels better) that the kiss shouldn't have happened. Amy will feel bad for Piper since she's been through it before with the whole Ralfie/Jiley thing and I'm not sure where this will go but y'all can choose the ending for this one.
• Nationals/Kenzie's Moment - so I've watched the trailers back and Kenzie said "sometimes the biggest rewards come from taking the biggest risks" and I can't actually remember her saying that. Then again, the white wall trailer (where I'm getting most of this) had Emily talking to A-troupe about their final dance which hasn't happened yet either. My prediction is Kenzie's FINALLY gonna have her moment and she's gonna speak up for herself. She'll notice many arguments between everyone with their storylines such as the Piper/Finn/Amy love triangle, Richelle taking charge of the choreo, Kingston is still mad at Henry and probably broken up with Lily again etc. Kenzie will realise that this much drama never happened when they did Regionals. The only arguments were over dance. Since their names were already signed up for Dancemania, Kenzie will finally have her chance and will set things right. She'll tell everyone that she's not doing Dancemania and instead wants to do Nationals and TV is causing more chaos than competition. She goes in hard at Richelle, who tries to defend Dancemania, and eventually leaves rehearsal. Since Richelle and Kenzie were supoosed to be the new friendship, Richelle will overhear Kenzie talking to Nick and Emily about leaving the studio to compete at Nationals. Richelle will feel bad and that's where we'll get the real character development. She'll invite Summer back because Emily's still upset they didn't choose Nationals and it's actually Richelle that gets the heart of Michelle and starts to do what's right for the team. She'll realise this as Absolute Dance hears about Dancemania and since Richelle is no longer competing for Nationals, they'll threaten to take away her being the face of Absolute Dance. She'll then realise that being the face is more important to her than a TV show and eventually, everyone goes back to doing Nationals.
• Richelle - I have a feeling that Richelle will win Miss National Soloist and Jones will surprise her backstage. Y'all remember Jones right? The one they dance battled in The Next Steep? Yeah that's the one! Anyway, he'll see just how good she is and offer her a spot on his tour since he won Dancemania. I feel like that'll be how Richelle leaves TNS. They eventually win Nationals (the reason why Myles, who plays Nick, is doing #Season8WhenTho) but Richelle will leave TNS for the tour. There could even be the surprise element where she's not sure but Noah and Jaquie end up being on the tour and that's what makes her mind up!
• B-troupe - so this is my final prediction. As we saw in seasons 2+3, the dancers changed up quite a bit. They eventually have to sign up the names for Nationals. That's how Amanda got to dance for TNS in season 2 as she was signed up to both TNS and Elite. Anyway, my final prediction would be that A-troupe do Dancemania. Emily still wants to do Nationals though. I have a feeling Summer will join B-troupe as her love of dance and the studio is too much to let go of. Since Cleo and Jude are both a part of B-troupe now, I have a feeling we'll see more of B-troupe anyway. So as A-troupe are preparing for Dancemania, Emily gets B-troupe to prepare for Nationals. Then B-troupe are signed up for Nationals instead of A-troupe after some practise since Jude said "we're better than you think". They win Nationals and since A-troupe went off to Dancemania, B-troupe become the new A-troupe.
So those are my predictions. They're actually more how I would write the show 😂 but they're fun to think about. Anyways, loved the video, pretty sure I'm the only one who actually got excited at Pinn's kiss and can't wait for 7.5! 😁
For real! Don’t mind the username, I’m on my older brothers account! I think that the writers may have plotted like season 6 where Miss Angela’s studio gets disqualified but a rival studio and TNS battle it out. Then there’s the tiebreaker. Pinn do it and they win.

It feels like the writers are trying to change the tone of the show in one season and take it from a mockumentary to a drama with no rhyme or reason.
Plus the drama is coming more from relationships than with dance and competitions like before which was what made the show so great.
Not to mention undoing all of the most meaningful character developments that I was actually invested in and we’re just suddenly supposed to care about this random competition that was only mentioned once before in an off season?
Honestly, if they go to dance mania I will feel pretty damn betrayed. I suffered through the monstrosity that was season 4 so I could be more excited when they win internationals again and they SHOW THE WORLD (he he).

I somehow feel like nationals is gonna happen either way because of what Presley said when she didn't make it as an alternate. She said something along the lines of going to find a different troupe to get her to nationals & I don't think that was the last time we ever got to see her. I don't know but I just found that to be an interesting sort of 'hint' on what may happen later in the season.

Ok - I’m going to try (and probably fail) to keep this as brief as I can, but I’m hoping to make people feel better about this...
So I really loved this episode, and it didn’t really sink in at first that it might not have gone down well. Kingston and Lily hasn’t turned out like I think we all hoped, but it looks to me like they’re saving the development for part two of the season, so I think they’ll be OK - fingers crossed.
On to the two big points - first up, Piper and Finn. Unfortunately, I loved it how it went, and didn’t manage to check myself until later on. It was definitely rushed and I really wish they hadn’t done it like this, but I couldn’t help being happy - though one week on I can’t stop myself feeling guilty about it, and sadly that’s probably the correct reaction.
I’ve seen many people getting very angry about it, so I just want to say - I don’t think that they’ve started as they mean to go on. It would be completely out of character for both of them if they stick to a cheating storyline (especially Piper - I hope her experience with love triangles becomes a feature of this, because it would be interesting if they’re both very aware that what they did was wrong and we know that Piper probably is already), and I don’t think the show would have made them do that, not seriously. My honest opinion (and I hope I’m not wrong) is that I think they’re going to spend the next few episodes trying to atone for what they did - either they’re going to tell Amy right away, or Finn’s going to at least break up with her, and then they won’t actually do anything about their feelings out of respect for her, and it’s going to tear them up inside. The most notable trailer content we haven’t seen yet from Finn and Piper is those white walls scenes where it looks a hell of a lot like they’re pining over each other, which makes me think that they’re going to be essentially unable to be together - and because we know they’re both decent people and they both care about Amy, I honestly can’t see why the writers wouldn’t put them in a situation where they try and do the right thing. Plus it’s a painful way for them to make the Pinn storyline as a whole be a memorable one. I’m sure I’m somewhat biased as these guys are my favourite characters, but in all seriousness - they have to try and keep the show interesting, but from the evidence from both the show as a whole and the trailers, I don’t think they would really sacrifice the morals of their characters to do it. So yeah, as much as they can, I think Finn and Piper are going to do what’s right, and try and make up for what they’ve done.
(This isn’t going to be brief. How typical.)
Number two - Dancemania. Long story short, I highly doubt it’ll go as planned. The way this storyline has been set up seems to me like they’re going to get to Dancemania and it will absolutely not be what it seems - something will be dodgy or will start to go wrong, and they’ll come out of it wishing they’d stuck with Nationals - sort of how Amy’s storyline ultimately went with AcroNation, and we know that she came back to TNS in the end. The show always tries to troll us into thinking that the final competition somehow won’t be happening, and they’ve never failed to make it there yet. I’m pretty sure that the show will take us to Nationals in some way purely because of what Presley said - she was going to join another Nationals team, and I would be very surprised if we never found out what team it was (please, let it be Gemini...). Unfortunately I can’t fault the theory that B-Troupe are going to Nationals, because they have enough dancers and sadly it’s very plausible - but I just don’t think it’s that likely. I know that we’ve been introduced to a lot more of B-Troupe this season, but I agree that it doesn’t fit with the generalised opinion that they’re generally not well-rounded enough for big competitions, and there are two B-Troupers that they just haven’t developed at all, which seems strange if they’re going to become so important - and in terms of A-Troupe, Kenzie and Kingston have openly talked about how excited they are for Nationals, they must know we’d want to see Henry’s Nationals solo, Richelle is literally the Face of Absolute Dance... they’ve built up Nationals so much that it seems strange that they ultimately wouldn’t go. And I know they’ve talked even more about Dancemania recently - but to me, that seems to be an indication that they’ve hyped it up so much that it’ll ultimately be a disappointment. It would be really interesting if that’s the case, because there’s all that kerfuffle about them not being eligible to compete anymore - so if Dancemania is in fact a flop, there’s a potential storyline where A-Troupe have to make some kind of case to be able to compete again, which I know I’d personally be excited to see :)
I think before the first episode aired, I said something like ‘the first half of the season will be a chance for things to hit peak drama level’ and ‘we’ll all feel different by the time we’ve seen all the episodes and know how it ends’. I stand by that. I’ve enjoyed S7 way more than I haven’t enjoyed it, and I fully believe that the second half will be worth waiting for. I’ve watched a lot of this show in my time, and I don’t think they’d really steer away from the formula that made everyone love it in the first place - but at the same time, I honestly kind of like that the episodes are interesting, and I hope that it winds up as a healthy mix between the two.
Don’t panic though guys - focus on what you’ve liked so far. I think it’ll all be OK in the end, and we’ll be able to root for Pinn again soon :)

Pinn is my favourite ship ever on The Next step but I HATED the way this episode ended. If they wanted a pinn cliffhanger it could have ended with Piper telling Finn she likes him. Then in the next few episodes things would be weird between them and Finn is conflicted what to do. Maybe then Finn and Amy would break up mutually or just break up without and drama (But realistically on Tns that wouldn’t happen) and then Pinn could happen. Or, as much as my little Pinn heart hates it, Piper and Finn not dating at all. I just absolutely hate that piper was involved in a cheating when she knows how much it hurts somebody (because of the whole Jiley situation and James being her brother)

I think the b troup will move up to a troup instead and complete at nationals while the team competes at dance mania and summer will be apart of that team and summer and cleo will compete for miss national soloist and the 2 ‘besties’ (in 5 mins ) would compete for mr national soloist so it would be a brand new a troup maybe 🙃
