Part of this is knowing what to expect, power +/- continuity. I have adopted a bike so the compact parts are all in new places. My objective was to clean each connection going forward. My intermittent crank I check the battery 12V+ at crank down to 7v , the starter works with 12v iv. My starter relay was not clicking on a constant basis. Evenjoying myself fixing these aspects with you help plus education.
This will be very helpful when I finally start working on my '74 CL 450. The switch controls on the starter side are broken so will have to go thru all of these steps plus more.

Hi brendon . My 75 / k5 ,has the clutch saftey system ,but no actual switch for it to connect. Can i disconnect and remove. Cheers
