- Alexa Nikolas is speaking out about being a part of “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” the Investigation Discovery docuseries. “I would say the biggest reason that I sat down was for my kids … The entertainment industry is not the only industry that punishes people for coming forward about a toxic work environment or abuse in the workplace,” she told Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall during a sit-down interview. Alexa, who acted on “Zoey 101” for two seasons as a preteen, spoke about the allegations she shared regarding her time on set. Alexa has also started her own movement “Eat Predators” to help end predatory behaviors across all industries. Episode 5 of “Quiet on Set” premieres April 7 at 8 p.m. on ID. Even Christina Taft, who has replied to your comment, who is friends with Alexa Nikolas -- lies and spreads lies about other people, including Sabeen, who Alexa doxxed in a defamatory and slanderous UA-cam video. I asked Christina to leave me alone multiple times on Discord, to the point where I had to block her. I woke up the other morning to SEVEN notifications from Christina Taft, via Instagram. So I filed a police report, because she's just as creepy as her friend, and I want nothing to do with her. She's also just as big of a hypocrite as Alexa is. She stated that my petition 'is harassment,' yet this woman literally worked as a petition charger. It's right there on her LinkedIn, which is listed in her bio. As creepy as she is, she shouldn't be employed anywhere 🤣

Sort of concerned for her mental health and wellbeing by going through her own traumas with bullying and then to the awful encounters and experiences she had herself as a young actress, having to dive into other peoples traumas and heartbreaking ordeals that could keep her re-living the awful treatments she experienced personally herself.
Hope she has a therapist who's just a call or text away in case It ever does take a toll on her mental and emotional wellbeing again. She has good intentions behind exposing the dark, vile things behind TV shows and whatever else that people are threatened to be silenced about, especially children and their parents!

I feel bad bc sometimes I think she’s too intense. But she went through a lot on that show. And you can tell how traumatized she is from it all.

That seems to be a common denominator for bringing awareness to this: most of these allegations are technically not illegal, so the technicalities themselves are being brought into question because it appears many loopholes exist to allow alleged behavior such as these to take place.

I know Dan did a bunch of messed up stuff on set, and there was a toxic environment, however I am a little confused on some of the things they choose to highlight.
For instance, with this video they are talking about the wardrobe having short skirts and fitted shirts. What I find wrong with the work environment at that time isn’t the clothes picked out, but the fact that none of the stars felt comfortable enough to speak out if they were uncomfortable with the clothes. Same with the script (not all of it, there were some things that were definitely inappropriate), but again I think the biggest issue is that the actors didn’t feel comfortable enough in their work environment to speak out, not necessarily the script itself. If they don’t feel comfortable, especially since they are minors, then there isn’t proper consent for them in the work place.

@@dhenderson1810 because they mention how they didn’t want to say anything that would make them look annoying or go against Dan (who’s effectively their boss). So it sounds like they tried to be people-pleasers when it came to Dan. This mindset of not wanting to displease Dan was so strong that the adults acted this way as well, so for children (who normally will naturally try to please adults) this behavior was probably intensified.
Because of that, the kids didn’t even know what feeling comfortable in the workplace meant, and they certainly didn’t know how to communicate their discomfort. Only in hindsight are they able to realize how uncomfortable they felt, and they are discussing that now.
Some of these comments are so unbelievable no wonder why people shut up about their abuse.

@@Lettheflamesbeginx3 I didn’t know that but I tried to look it up and I can’t really find anything except that it’s not 100% confirmed . Kristin just denied it but either she is acting dumb, genuinely doesn’t remember or it’s a lie . Plus given all the evidence Alexa has with her being bullied at the Nickelodeon set I wouldn’t doubt that Kristin was part of it but who knows.

Adults must be held to account. If not of their own volition, then we need better laws to protect children in the industry and in the "family vloggers" space. If you care about this - look into the legislation happening in your state around proposed laws that would protect content creators under the age of 18 “who create video content performed in {your state} in exchange for compensation".

I wonder how all this will affect Nickelodeon. Will childhood nostalgia keep Nickelodeon in a bright light or has this pushed away past-and current- Nick kids? The youngest generation has no such warm fuzzy memories that the older generation does. They may just not want anything to do with Nick. (Yes quiet on the set is for adults. But kids have cells and they talk.) Even more, how will producers feel about coming to Nick after all this? The business is the bussiness. Dans not there anymore but whay if advertising says they don't want associated with your show if your putting it on Nick due to the dirt bring kicked up? The networks legacy is in the balance right now. I feel so sad for everything all those actors went through and still put on a show each week. Hope you all find peace.
