I didn't feel sorry for him in that episode. He did deserve to be punished for how reckless he was with his money. Doing things on his own should've been a lesson to him, but he didn't learn a thing by the end of that episode
Logan was an extremely hurt character. No one (other than Quinn) really saw him as he needed to be seen. Even Chase and Michael didn't understand the extent he was hurting, hugely because Logan put up such a front, was probably ashamed/embarrassed of having feelings other than anger and probably didn't even understand himself why he was hurting. He craved love but didn't know how to go about it because he had bad examples (his dad having an unstable love life) and was pushed to the sidelines by someone that should have been helping (sent away to his grandpa when he was on summer break rather than stay at his house). He had pressure put on him too by being a producer's son, being in the public eye. None of this excuses his behaviours but it makes things make more sense.
