It belongs to god but this song is beautiful
As a single song, it’s great. But as an end to a 4 year trilogy and even a call back to a 7 year old ep, this song is the undeniable flame. The Outro is the opener from their first album.
Even a callback to a previous band he was in was in this one and Ascensionism.... such a perfect song to cap off Vessels body of work thus far!

Sleep Token is the #1 artists in music right now for me. You can’t put them in a single musical genre box. That’s what I truly love about these dudes. The album is a masterpiece. It’s literally exhausting to get through fully because of the amount of emotion in this album. This album is Vessel’s therapy and you can tell he’s been through some true life trauma and by the end of the album you can hear and feel some healing happening. It’s literally amazing.
I tear up every single time I hear Euclid. its beautifully written and the call backs to previous albums, especially with the end "The whites of your eyes

I am blown away with this band. I am an old dude whose gods are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, Rush, the list goes on.
Vessel is an old soul, his talent, gifted& real.

Most sleep token fans that have been around since the start usually end up in tears at the end of Euclid because it directly links up to the song the night does not belong to god from the first album but in a more positive light which is so perfectly done
Not just the OGs. I just discovered Sleep Token at the beginning of the year. "Mine" was my introduction, and within 72 hours, I had listened to every offering available. When this album came out and I finally got to Euclid, I bawled in a way that I haven't in years!
I was driving to Kwik trip on break from work and listened to Euclid and tears were rolling down my face. This song is beyond beautiful!
Exactly, thank you! I've been on this ride since 2019 and it's been an emotional experience. Not to sound like a gatekeeper, but all of these new fans that jumped on the bandwagon last year are kind of annoying.
The masters have crafted the best album of the year hands down. Genre blending should be the future of music and those stuck in the old ways will just never achieving this level of artistry.

This song hits different,it's beautiful and sad at the same time,all the lore around this song makes it quite special,it's when you need and understand that you have to give it an ending to something you can't hold on to but the music are so joyful,the album is like listening to one of those movies with several plot twist,a carousel of emotions each one of the songs are a different vibe and you still haven't heard "Take me back to Eden" or "Aqua Regia"

I listened to this album all the way through, and when this song started, I just didn't want the first time I heard it to end. It's a magnificent piece of music that made me go back and listen to their first two albums. Well, once I got past the song Atlantic, which opened the second album anyway.

I recently discovered Sleep Token and I like to describe it as music from a different world. Every song is so beautiful and unique.
This song still works my heart over. Start from the beginning! With the One and Two EPs then Sundowning, This Place Will Become Your Tomb and of course, Take Me Back To Eden. Sleep is a whole experience. 🥹🥹

This is probably the 3rd Sleep Token song I listened to and "the night belongs to you" made me cry. And then I deep dove into their entire body of work and when I made it back to Euclid I cried ugly tears
I have only heard 1 or 2 songs off "sundowning", and most of "This place will become your tomb". But even I get emotional everytime hearing this song.

This is the end of a tragic story. You have to listen to all three albums. It is one long story of love and loss. Also notice that when is says “ just run it back given 5 whole minutes” there is exactly 5 minutes left on the track.

If you go back and listen to everything from start to finish, what I mean is going back to their first album and then their second and then this entire album. It’s a trilogy and it’s a beautiful closing to this incredible Journey of their music to this point, trust me like many people say to you you have to do that. 🌹❤️🌹

"The Night Belongs to You" gets me every damn time. Goshhhhhh the emotions.
I was struck of a wave of emotions when I found this song. It done messed me up in a way I cant describe. I think this is a waypoint that changes a alot of things. It is going down in history... Like " back in the day after all that pandemic bull.. you know, the year ST released their epic eden album" or "grandpa, were you there when they released their stuff"
Album is pure genius. That gets thrown around alot but this is great artistic accomplishment. Im a pretty stoic dude and this album touched me in a way few have in recent years
I believe the song is about lost love. Either the person he's singing about is dead or they've decided they no longer want to be with the songwriter or singer. The memories they share, especially the part about the autumn leaves and the ancient canopies. They used to live beneath its memories and it takes me to a place with the best relationship that I've ever had in the most. I've ever felt loved in the most I've ever loved and it hits on those deepest emotional levels. That's why I think this song is a standout
And the very end where he says I know you will not be mine. So give me the night the night the night he's he's pleading for one more chance just one more time
