as someone who loves books and shows that follow detectives (I just love seeing the "case" from their perspective) I would love a video of recs!! I wasn't sure about the gathering but now I am 100% picking it up
I loved Stuart Turton’s 7 1/2 Deaths…what a roller coaster ride that was. Might have to pick up The Last Murder at the End of the World. Thanks for sharing!
Always enjoy your reviews! Just popped in to say I actually squealed at your mug!! lol I love it!! I knew I liked you! I’ve not been subscribed long but I’ve been enjoying your videos so thanks for sharing your thoughts! 💜 Tamara
Smart! i so wish I had taken character notes for the Gathering. Listened to it so there was no hope for me finding the right section to flip to when i was lost lol. Still enjoyed it though, I felt similar about the ending
You may have already watched it but I highly highly recommend the show The Killing. Its a detective show that was canceled after a few seasons, but unrightfully so because it's so damn good.
I had similar feelings about The Gathering! I loved the atmosphere so much, but the POV wasn’t my favorite and there were too many characters lol 😅 I was underwhelmed by the end too
These were my two of my most anticipated reads. They weren't my favorites by these authors either. But then i'm not a big fan of post apocalyptic or vampire books, so there you go....
I think neither one of these authors is for me. Especially C J Tudor (vampires ugh). I loved the concept of 7 1/2 Deaths but got mired down. Maybe I should give it another shot. I did like the writing style. I love your vlogs even when I don’t care for the books. ❤
The Gathering was the 3rd book I read by that author, and it is now easily my favourite, so far. What I most liked about it is that, in a certain way, it reminded me a lot of True Blood - which is a tv show I really liked when it aired. ❤ On the other hand, that Stuart Turton novel was my 1st time reading a book by them and...oh boy, I did not like it. 😪

I've been thinking about doing one once I've read enough books to have faves!

Great video. You should look for author Stacy James Meadows. Good reviews, and interesting insights. ❤

I think it would be great if you did a video about the detective shows you've been watching, with reviews and recommendations.

That is my favorite detective show. Netflix had all the seasons. The acting and the plots are excellent
I don't think I've watched this one yet!! (the names all kind of blend together lol) I'll check it out!
I would definitely be into a sequel to The Gathering.

blueberry bagels with strawberry cream cheese is also an elite combo
You’ve piqued my interest 👀
I haven’t read a Stuart turton book, but I’ve heard pretty good things!

I really liked the drift gived me year one vibes
Have you read the final scene? If not I think you would enjoy it
I have not! I'll look into it thanks!
